It's really worrisome as the Federal Government had chosen to look the other way each time Hisbah destroyed beer and other alcoholic drinks in the north but would be the first to come out to support or defend Myetti Allah each time the issue pertaining to cows and herders is brought to the fore. I don't think this is right and our leaders should stop being biased. I don't consume beer. In fact the last time I took half cup of red wine, I was staggering as if I had consumed a carton of it. There's an adage which says, what is sauce for the goods, is sauce for the dander. I feel concerned about the heinous practice. I wish those affected could sue them Why would the FG collect taxes from breweries and their distributors and use the same to develop every region of the country, including the north but keep mum each time Hisbah destroys loads of trucks of beer in the north but keep defending cow business down south on which no single tax is being paid? The roles played by these breweries in development of our economy by way of job creation is invaluable. I wonder why the government isn't pondering on this before they relocate to Ghana like other companies did due to unfavourable and unfriendly business environment. They keep saying investors are welcome but making the environment harsh to them. In the north, there are Christians, Muslims, pagans, Europeans, Americans, asians etc and they are also entitled to a legitimate lifestyle. Why not ban cigar smoking too? An Hisbah was even spotted smoking in a video which went viral last year but they didn't see anything bad in what the ministry of health says about tobacco smokers, being liable to die young. The largest consumers of soft drinks and cigar are northerners whereas, consumption of soft drinks, beer, cigar poses a great risk to human health. If you have history of diabetes or HBP and you consume beer or soft drinks, you are digging your graves unknowingly. Consumption of red meat like cow is even more risky to such category of people due to the high cholesterol level cow meat contains. I expect the federal government to harp on the risk factors of these stuffs rather than pretend to be insensitive to Hisbah's anti-economic activities in the north on innocent Nigerians. I condemn this in its entirety. |
If they could destroy other people's means of livelihoods by pouring hundreds of cartons of beer into the dustbin and the federal government would look the other way despite the efforts made for decades by breweries to develop Nigerian economy through job creation and payment of taxes used by the federal government to the federal government in developing every region of the country , including the north, I see no reason why ranching should also be allowed too, down south. |
And she was born in Nigeria, had her first degree here. You don't have to be American-born to become a global figure. God is great! Congrats mama |
meobizy:male hiding under a female moniker. Shame on you. |
Tinubu slave. I'm not surprised |
They shouldn't hesitate to sue NEMA. Nonsense I've never seen any sector headed by fulani that was run successfully...buhari came in the 80s and installed his people in all the key sectors. Because he was military head of state, nobody dared say pim. Even now that he's suddenly become a democrat , he's doing just the same. I was at FIRS today where one of their staff was saying the office began going down in performance after fowler left...same man they revolted against after he brought that sector from nothing to something, just because they wanted to take over, seeing how juicy the place had become. |
franugo:Why not allow the feminists defend themselves, you this masculine of a being ? |
Lmaooo |
The earlier we all push aside ignorance and come to terms with the fact that covid-19 is real, the better. His cousin Smith who shared meat with the deceased, should in his best interest go for covid-19 test asap. Stay safe guys and RIP to the man. |
onoms4luv:lol. Your post is the reason one should go to school. Lmao. I didn't even understand what the person posted |
Men! |
If you're up to 4ft, then you're jo more small-sized. Congrats |
Unfortunately, LIONHEART was disqualified for language reasons. But a good movie it was! Yeah. Our Darling Country to the world. NIGERIA to the world. Let us bring home the OSCARS guys. Unlike Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart which unfortunately the Academy disqualified from the international feature film category last year for having English as the main language of the script,. The Milkmaid fulfils the requirement for a predominantly non-English dialogue track. It conveys authenticity with Hausa, Fulfulde and Arabic, three languages hermetically spoken throughout the film. The film follows the story of two sisters, Aisha (Anthonieta Kalunta) and Zainab (Maryam Booth), who get separated when insurgents attack their village. Aisha is determined to rescue Zainab from her captors and traces her whereabouts to an enemy camp, where she is enslaved and treated inhumanely. Can the Milkmaid win Nigeria’s first Oscar? Yes is the answer!! God bless Nigeria.
Maybe Genevieve ought to have changed the title to Amotekun Heart instead, lion is more English than amotekun . A lesson to learn next time I guess. That move get plenti publicity abeeg. Unfortunately, the awarding organisations don't judge by all that |
Welcome back to your roots. You finally retraced your genes back to your source. He looks like a warri boy. Before you say Jack, he's become a citizen, playing for super eagles. |
BastardWike:Keep living in denial. I blame your leaders like umahi who's fond of speaking from both sides of his mouth . He will sell you patapata, watch. For the latest news about the amotekun, read the below... https://www.nairaland.com/6406550/amotekun-intercepts-truckload-armed-fulani |
BastardWike:The afonja you mentioned are now the husband of the herders . It's only yorubas who are attacking and retaliating in the country today. Kanu only gives audio orders and threats from his hiding. Sunday igboho is a hero. He's visibly seen everywhere despite the fed govt threats. I urge you set up amotekun replica before fulanis would exterminate you guys. What you saw recently in South East and Benin ore expressway would be a tip of the iceberg in near future. Maybe all of you would run to yorubaland as the only safe haven. The earlier you act, the better. The widely publicised ESN is neither here nor there meanwhile amotekun are seen everywhere |
gaius01:What a foolish talk. FFK isn't interested in the APC come back here to call me names if he eventually joined them. APC won't hold power beyond 2023. Come back and call me names too if it didn't happen. Lastly PDP won't taste power ever again. |
I won't believe this until after one week, the region records no incidence of violence in the region. Masari did this a couple of times but never worked. |
Theboss100:All I see are abuses, No single sense spotted in your post. Shioor! |
Omihanifa:Hmmmm. Oro Nla reeee |
LOOOOL. That's all I can say. |
Congrats bois. The book of proverb 18:16 says, A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. Do not give up. You could land in front of great leaders in near future, if you do not give up. I never dreamt of being in same hall with the US President in my entire life. my my relentless efforts took me that far. All the best! |
PAWG:Nobody is complaining. I only tried to let you know that your narrative of charging your phone with electricity when we were talking about automobile which would need over 9hrs to charge its battery to the fullest was very wrong. How can you compare the 2. You can charge your phone at work because it requires less energy but no company would allow you charge your car for that long. In very near future, except Nigeria had an alternative to climate change agenda, virtually all cars in Nigeria would be running on battery. We can't be an exception. |
Theboss100:my response to your jargon is in the book of luke 13:3 Unless you repent, you shall likewise perish. |
TheRareGem1:they'd tell you the money isn't even enough to run nnpc. Nigeria is such a wasteful country. Oil is supposed to be a blessing but not in Nigeria. Our buyers are developing their economy with it while we, the sellers are impoverished as a nation. The level of corruption is so much . |
PAWG:How long does it take to charge your phone? It amazes me the way some youths think upside down in this country...you..yes..you, how many times do you have access to electricity in your home, which would allow you charge your car up to 9 hours at least? That could only take you to akure or Benin from lagos. I'm sure you charge your phone most times with either gen, car charger or in the office in case you work. You cannot compare your phone's battery with that of a car . The onus is on government to do the needful ahead of time instead of stealing. In a few years to come, no car would run on petrol. |
Basicend:Nigeria has become a liability to the world due to corrupt practices and we're not even ashamed of running to the west. I remember that aboki who was the accountant at the power ministry, who has several houses in choice areas of abuja and nearly 70 exotic cars in his yard. That's the way they've been running our economy. His case has been carpeted. Fashola would keep making failed promises because the more he looks, the less he sees. Imagine world Bank assisting our power sector with over half a billion dollar...loan or grant...it doesn't even matter. Except they help in kind instead of helping in cash, nothing would change because that money would enter individual's hands via contracts. Berth Nnaji's company and that of his cronies come to mind...the former power minister under pdp |
Mode4:age 30 is also vulnerable and more vulnerable if you have co-mobidity that is, underlying medical conditions. Don't invite your mum yet. Take more of vitamin c by thousand and zinc. Just take the necessary precautions. See a Dr today as planned. You'd be fine |
Na wah oo. One needs to be very prayerful before employing anyone, including those religious houses so God could reveal traitors from the beginning and one could drop them before allowing them to join the team. This man doesn't sound like a pastor to me. Its obvious in his voice. You stayed with a controversial man of God for 16 years and yet, you didn't quit immediately after noticing his so called character for the sake of your calling and heaven? Why wait until after you were sent away to make all these revelation? Common! |
arsenal444:Hahaha. It might sound funny but its true. They took light in my seat too during that time. We're running in gen now. |
As I tuned to 10pm channels news a few minutes ago, from headlines to the main news, it's been insecurities, insecurities and insecurities. The news caster started with Kaduna Killings in which at least 19 people lost their lives and you know when the government put casualties figure at a particular figure...the number is undoubtedly triple. As if that wasn't enough, the NLC president abducted in Tarawa regained freedom after ransom was paid... And then killings in Osun, caused by communal clashes. The government was alerted to deploy the police or military and no order came from abuja until over 15 people lost their lives. The resident of Ilobu, one of the towns involved in the state even said the matter wouldn't have become so volatile, had the security operatives heeded their call early enough ...and from there to Orlu killings ...and then to the NBA chairman , Imo state chapter's killing by an unknown gunman... ...and from there to the IDP camp built by Catholic mission in the state. Then to Gender-based violence worsened by covid-19. Which way Nigeria? I'm not a happy man tonight . Please share your thoughts on the way forward |

The earlier you and your lots understand the signs of false prophets, pastors, evangelists etc the better otherwise all of you will perish in HELL Read Matthew 15:14, Isaiah 9:16.
