GrandFinale2021:Guy, I won't gain anything by telling lies here with what I shared and nobody forced me to do so. I just blame our bad government and the useless NCDC most of whom God would punish for not doing enough to sensitive people on this covid-19 thing. lots of people would died of it could have lived . The experience is not palatable. Unfortunately, govt have turned it into a money making endeavour. Imagine that useless lagos governor saying he was treating covid-19 patient...just one patient with btw 100k and 1m naira daily? Nobody would hear this lie and ever believe in the realities of covid-19. They're just killing people for nothing with their corrupt minds. I'm one of the "hard to convince" fellows when it comes to a thing like this. You would need to do extra work to convince me on some issues because I dey stubborn small. But on this, no be wasa. I thank God I made it. |
Pyhonist:I virtually collapsed on the 3rd day. Had I agreed to my wife's decision to drive me out fir my 2nd injection, I might not have made it to the hospita,l, the way l was feeling. My heart was vibrating, as if it would stop. I couldn't sleep at this stage, if I lay on my back in bed, it wouldn't be convenient, if I lie flat, same. If I sit down, no way! I couldn't breathe well again, I was struggling with my lungs. I never knew I could make it. I don't know how better I could have explained this. For me, it's near death experience. You can imagine a situation where you're looking at your family and you're crying asking yourself if the end would come that moment. I had never had such experience in my entire life, but even when I was hit by typhoid and malaria during my nysc days. Thank God for His mercies |
Juliusmalema:To be honest with you, I can't tell precisely how or where I got it from. It could be at the park in lagos as most of us were struggling to get the hard copy of our online booking ticket over the counter, or where we stopped to eat, through the fellow passengers on the bus, it was hard to trace. But I could recollect those couple who came from China, who stacked their luggage beside my seat. They paid for 2 of the back seats for their luggage while I paid for the remaining 2 as well. I guess they're based in Onitsha where they alighted. As everyone was saying covid-19 originated from China, they were my suspect. |
Tbvxl:lol. From 5th day |
Isokoson1:as an AA and O+ being, malaria isn't alien to me. Na regular customer for our type. Covid-19 is totally different. I just pray you don't experience it. Its terrible. You can take ACT antimalarial drug and you'd be fine. If you like, take an ACT for weeks, it won't cure covid-19. The situation would rather get worse. Just like you, I never believed it was real. Ignorance is even worse that the covid-19 itself |
Jarus:Please leave them. Someone even said I was paid agent , that I work for NCDC...the useless NCDC. Left to the ncdc who refused to pick my call, I wouldn't have made it but God's mercies said no! NCDC have sent lots of Nigerians to their early graves by not having enough test centres . In America, they beg people to come and get tested, for free. I still wonder how we got to this messy point as a country. Nigeria wasn't like this, while growing up in the 80s. In my primary school, the health workers would come and vaccinate us against polio and yellow fever for free. Most of us still have the mark on our shoulders till date. |
poshbrave:yes oo, or when your conscience is clear, you walk straight , you don't look back every second , while walking. Its an old adage. |
Lanretoye:Ogbe gaan ni. It's like they too are feeling the heat lol. I hardly hear them talk these days. The reality is dawning on them seriously |
GrandFinale2021:May God that I serve judge and punish me, if I was sent or sponsored by NCDC, federal govt or any agent to post this. My joy is , my family and I survived it. Nobody paid me to do this. |
GrandFinale2021:May God punish me if i own the so called moniker...or if I belong to ncdc or whatever organisation. I was reluctant to share this in the first place because, in spite of the gory proof with screen shots posted, those who would doubt would still doubt until they hit their early grave. Those who would take necessary precautions too would do the same and would be safe. To live isn't for everyone, likewise to die...the choice is yours. |
kadiri3:No sir. I can't be. May God punish me if I was paid by anyone to post this...what more should I say... |
kadiri3:I concur with you on this. That's why washing of hands in-between contacts is important. Use hand sanitisers too because the virus can actually live more than 24 hours on any substance. You can imagine someone who just shook hands with a covid-19 patient using same hand to touch his or her eyes or scratch his/her nose. In this case , face mask is just a decoration |
SimplyFacts:Thank you |
Seun:hope you can push it to the front page so people could learn. A thread has been created already under health |
arsenal444:No be small tin |
See awkward colour combination This guy no get taste at all. Congrats anyway |
Is this a human being ? |
Why would this man always be running to aso rock. Is that his second office? Ooni onijekuje |
gwinaB:Ooih. Sorry . I meant babcock ![]() |
gwinaB:They did. They mostly had small houses , part of which were set aside for seventh-day adventist seminary. I attended their primary school so I do know well. Even when the university structures were being erected, they used to mention it in church that funds were needed. Later, they began adding more departments, lecture theatre's and buildings. I visit there frequently. Some private individuals also donated halls and buildings then it became a full fledged uni. |
longetivity:You can say that in a million times . Nice |
Dix one na movie theatre nah. Anyway the likes of babcock, covenant, JABU etc started this way. With time, they'd develop but they must not bite more than they can chew at this stage so they don't look like dugbe market |
chumada:Yea, South west is truly worse than the north on poverty, south south and south east. I can see how people are picking food from dustbin and lots of south west doing maiguard and gatemen in the north and other parts of the country. People aren't coming to south west, including lagos for greener pasture because there are no industries or opportunities there at all. The movie industry is also located in maiduguri. Most of tech firms and young entrepreneurs in Nigeria are located in Asaba and Nnewi . See your mouth. |
Your comment is full of confusions. The figure you quoted about India is quite unfortunate. India is over 1bn in population. Nigeria is officially 200m in population. Poverty percentage in the 2 countries are 10% in India and almost 50% in Nigeria, given the declared population of each country. |
RiyadhGoddess:Yea God is great. I decided to leave the screenshot unedited so people could see the date it happened and the useless NCDC number I called so the doubting thomases would know how serious and real it is. They think those sharing their experiences are being bribed by the government to do so. For some of us who survived it, we don't wish our enemies to experience such, let alone people we care for as fellow citizens, even without knowing them closely. Sadly, our leaders aren't sensitising people enough in this covid-19 of a thing, thereby send people to their early graves. They don't care and some of them are also dying of the virus. Some days back, i made a comment under a similar topic that 3 of my clients relations were buried same day in igala area of kogi early late last month. When I asked where she was as the place was noisy she told me she came to the village to bury 3 of her relations who died of suspected covid-19 virus due the symptoms they were reportedly showing before they died in 3 different compounds of that town.. See the way people were raining insults on me...and there's a sitting governor who was supposed to be sensitising people but rather, saying covid-19 is a hoax...sad!. I thought it wise to share my personal experience here, seeing the way people handle this issue so lightly. Covid-19 is actually much more around now than people think. Just yesterday, I had a chat with someone. She had covid-19. See our conversation from the screenshots shared.

Seun:created already. |
To those who don't believe covid-19 is real. You need to have a rethink for the sake of your loved ones. I felt I should share my experience maybe someone, somewhere would learn and not treat the pandemic with kid gloves. It all happened on the 26th March, 2020 after my return trip from the South East. Before I embarked on that trip, there had been news about the imminent lockdown all over town as cases increased but I wasn't deterred because of how important the meeting in the S/E was. I searched for a flight to asaba with no luck so I decided that I was going to travel via one of the public transport buses plying that route from Lagos. I booked two of the back seats so I could put my travel bag on one of the seats to avoid my laptop having issues. While I was seated at the back, there was this couple seated in front of me. While the husband wore a face mask, the wife didn't. They looked like those just arriving from a long haul. Their bags occupied the remaining 2 seats at the back right beside mine. The tags seen on those bags showed they were coming from China. Then I didn't really believe covid-19 was around. I almost mocked the guy who wore a face mask because it looked strange to me. They alighted in Onitsha. In short after my meeting, I went straight to my hotel ordered my meal and slept off. The following day, i left for the meeting venue to carry out another presentation, after which we called it a day. In short, I Ieft for lagos on the 3rd day early momo via the transport company I came with. My client had arranged for a drop off the previous night so the driver took me to Asaba to board the return bus back home. As soon as I boarded the bus, I was feeling uneasy. By the time we got to Benin I was hit by this terrible headache. My eyes were dripping water. I had to plead with the driver to reduce the AC which other passengers weren't comfortable with. On getting to lagos the taxi driver who took me back home could notice I wasn't feeling well. At this point I could hardly breathe deeply. My left lung first seized. I was breathing through my mouth . I turned off the AC completely as I wasn't feeling comfortable anymore with the AC on. The following day, I managed to go to the clinic in the neighbourhood where my temperature was checked. It was abnormally high, my BP too rose abnormally. My BP used to be 115/75 and its been like this for years which was quite ok for my age. This time it rose abnormally. The Dr. gave me injection with some drugs. He asked me to come for 2nd injection the following day, that I could be having flu. I lost my sense of smell. My heart was vibrating, I couldn't return to the hospital the following day because I had no strength to drive. I told wifey not to bother driving me cos I might collapse while in the vehicle the way I was feeling. We had a little knowledge of covid-19 remedies so my wife went to get ginger, grated it and put inside water. I kept drinking with Vitamin C , as a precaution. On the 3rd day, I became so weak. On sighting the NCDC numbers on channels tv, I quickly picked one of them and called...my voice was apparently faint. I called several times, no response. I now sent one annoying message to one of the numbers....please see the screenshots below for details. I now received a funny and disappointing response. Before then, I had not travelled overseas. My last trip was in June 2019 to Florida. But then, I was on same bus with a couple who returned from China with their luggage stacked beside me. My wife really tried . She would boil hot water, cover me with the water inside a bowl with tick clothes and ask me to stay inside for minutes. I was feeling weak inside of me and this time, my right lung was weak. My only sickness is malaria I hardly fall sick but this one was something else. From the 4th day, I was getting better and better, we went for vitamin C by thousand and Zinc. As i was recovering, my eldest child picked it. She kept telling me she had lost her sense of smell, as if something rotten was coming down her nostrils, that the smell was unpalatable. She took ill. Within 3 days she had recovered , then my son picked it. He would say dad, I'm weak, I'm not OK this time I guessed it was covid-19, given all the reported symptoms by NCDC but I wasn't so sure. Then my last born picked it, same symptoms then the lockdown was in full force. Final my wife. I had to drive her to one of the isolation centres. They felt reluctant in testing her. The crowd was much. After I recounted my ordeal, she was reluctantly attended to. She tested positive for the virus. She would be vibrating at night. 2 weeks later she was pronounced fit and tested negative. I heard a near death experience. I was begging God to please give me the 2nd chance to live. I looked at my kids and said God please, not now. Covid-19 is real my people. Please stay safe.

Emeka71:But they said covid-19 is a hoax |
Seun:OK Seun. I'd do that in a bit but some people wouldn't still believe. Aja t'o ba maa sonu l'oro won. Koni gbo fere olode. Just today, a Dr friend told me she had covid-19, alongside 2 of her colleagues |
RisenPhoenix1:Those deported from those countries you mentioned...on what basis? Read about it. Some African Countries were potentially terrorist nations, same with some countries in Asia. I can't afford to keep such people too in my country if I were a president of that nation. Once you're in America, you can't be deported just like that if you don't commit crime. In my years of staying, I've never seen or heard of people being deported on the basis of not having papers after successful passage at the POE. |
