Stop seeking attention on social media

There is nothing like misplaced priorities here. We heard a story about a very diligent worker, told by no other than the governor of the state who was very impressed. That means she is truly outstanding.

People are just trying to appreciate her as much as possible.

What people are doing shows you that diligence and hardwork are still very much appreciated. And I guess her story can inspire others to try to imbibe the same ethics.

I take my children to school (private school) few minutes past 7am everyday and their teachers have to do a little revision with them before assembly starts by 8am.

You are totally wrong to assert that cars given to the legislators ultimately belong to the government. It belongs to the legislators, they go with the cars.

We operate a free market system. Every product or service has to be ready to compete and not rely on sentiment or blackmail in order to sell. Besides those cars are made in CHINA and we are definitely not Chinese so the talk of patriotism doesn't really hold water.

All Innoson needs to do is to look for better quality Chinese products (cars) to assemble and then a lot more people may just consider buying them.

The Hilux, Prado, Lexus 570 are the cars of choice for all. It's simply because these cars are very reliable.

IMHO Innoson should focus on pickup trucks and buses. He will have a reasonable market in police,army trucks and mass transit buses. Govts will patronise him because he is a local manufacturer but he will NEVER get enough individuals to patronise his cars to make it viable. A tokunbo corolla/camry makes more sense to an individual than an Innoson..that is his reality!!!

False. One of my neighbors drives one of the innoson buses. I've never seen him take the car to the mechanic apart from routine maintenance. The cars are expensive because they're always bought brand new.

Your neighbour may not have taken his to the mechanic yet cos it's still new. But the truth remains that these cars would struggle to last 100,000 Km without breaking all the time unlike Toyota.

I wouldn't blame them. Those cars are low in quality, quite expensive for that matter and have a very low resale value.

Sentiments aside, I wouldn't accept them either. Given the choice between any of their SUVs and a Toyota, i would take the Toyota all the time.

The company needs to improve the quality of their products to be able to compete favourably with Japanese cars and not rely on sentiment or even blackmail to force its cars on customers.
