Your wife went too far for calling her people (after your very first slap)
What happened to the "no third party interference" sermon on your wedding day?

But Op, are you sure you have not hit or beaten her before that day?

Just keep apologizing.
She has to come back.
I disagree. Her family is the only police she has in life. They are the ones that will be there when all fails. Domestic violence has claimed many lives cause of the so called "no 3rd party interference". We should encourage affected people to speak to someone they trust.

If I see blood on my sister, I will kill the perpetrator. EOD.

These are not different from Nairaland boys always typing like kids here. Imagine the kind of stuff people (adults) are typing on social media. Someone even called another's mum illiterate as if she chose not to go to school. Nigerians (most) are mean/insensitive, no point sugercoating it.

Hian!

Which meaning are you looking for again? Your neighbours killed two domestic cats they could have just sent away and block the ceiling afterwards, and you're here looking for meaning. I don't even understand people again. Since when did we start killing cats like this? Is this a new trend? These are probably someone's cats.

Anywhere you are, associate with others. That's how you get invites.
Well, you sound like you have your roots in Abuja. I wouldn't expect you to be bored. It's an entirely different story for new comers and visitors. Associating with others is easier when the "others" are out there willing to associate with you. When I was there, everyone seemed to be inside their houses, at work or in small packs minding their businesses with well established family and friends.... just like you. cheesy

JaySterling:
How good is Interswitch Webpay as compared to Flutterwave?
We can compare Interswitch with Flutterwave (both payment gateways have reliable APIs).

However, Flutterwave does not have as many highly abstracted terminals as Interswitch. For instance, I do not think they've got a fully fledged WebPay artifact. Integrating Flutterwave to your site would, therefore, require a decent amount of API calls. This is involving but I believe it's cheaper in terms of initial amount.

JaySterling:
Thank you sir for your response.

Can one accept payment from all countries and how much do they charge for unboarding, also fees per transaction.
It's international. I don't know if there are blacklisted countries.

There is a one-time integration fee of N150,000 and for every subsequent successful transaction, a fee of 1.5% of the value of the transaction subject to a cap of N2,000 is charged. (i.e. for transactions below N133,333, a fee of 1.5% applies), and N2,000 flat fee (for transactions above N133,333).

You can also try Wema WebPay.

There are a lot of payment gateways but these two WebPay sub categories (Interswitch is the gateway but has many endpoints like the WebPay, etc) are highly abstracted to the extent that there are almost plug and play.

Why didn't you also focus on Speaking while in AF? It's either u go back to AF for conversation class or if you're lucky to find some one like you to practice for that one hour.
Lol... Bro, I'm sure he didn't look away when they were teaching how to speak in class. He just feels his speaking is not as refined as his writing. This is not entirely new as most people tend to be stronger in some areas than others. Besides, regardless of how long he spends in Alliance française, the need to find a speaking partner would still stand as learning is continuous.

On a second thought; @Ivoryslims, please send me a message. I'd be glad to help as much as my schedule permits.

Sowore who has played the game politics under this structure of Govt we have

is like asking a lion to help take care of your sheep

what we all need is to stand together with one voice boycott any further bloody elections nd demand dat this failed union be restructured
You missed it totally. Nobody said you should trust or distrust Sowore. You keep making this about Sowere and I wonder if you really understand what's on ground. Regardless of who it is, there'll always be reasons to judge the person. The FG wants you to concentrate on the person and those reasons so as to divert your attention from their impunity. If you fall for that, you'd surprised whose turn it'll be tomorrow. Just saying...

Talking about boring Xmas, I think it's more boring here in Abuja than anywhere else, I'm not even feeling any Xmas in the air, I've not even heard a single Xmas song on radio or anywhere.
My next Xmas will be in Canada by God's grace.
Lol... I personally think Abuja has the most boring Christmas on earth. The level of OYO in Abuja makes me wonder the kind of boredom people are now complaining about in Canada. Or maybe it's cause I'm used to the Lagos lifestyle..

VULCAN:
I think you need to tell yourself the Truth because the fantasy you paint about Sowore is a bit ridiculous.

The most corrupt human being in the entire South West Nigeria is Tinubu.

How come Sowore has not unearthed a single thing about Tinubu's source of immense wealth?

Sahara Reporters completely ignored Tinubu in all their investigative journalism. How could that be possible?

A few weeks to 2015 election there was a list of property purportedly owned by Tinubu that was released. No one knows who released it but it wasn't SR.

My brother, pls wake up.

There is/was a pact between both men and such pacts usually operate with economic benefits to the lesser person.

Having said this I do not support Buhari trampling on the human rights of Sowore
Please, I'm not lying to myself, I'm only sharing my view. You could agree or disagree.

Back to the topic, we can only speculate. But regardless of how you view it, he still had his right to support anyone he wanted to support. That shouldn't undermine the struggle against tyranny. Like I said, it's not about Sowore as a person but against the act of subduing an opposing voice.

Damn!

What a gut displayed by PUNCH.

History will remember you right for being the first media outfit to stand up against this tyranny and call it by it's name.

I hope Sun, Vanguard, Thisday, Leadership, Premium Times, Channels, AIT, and all media outfit will follow suit.

But as regards Sowore, he is on his own. He's a big fool being punished by Karma. He worked against GEJ for Buhari. Let him enjoy the saviour he heralded.

Now, you would wanna question why I can't get past 2015, it's simple. GEJ ran a government of vision with short, medium and long term visions backed by measurable policies.

I never benefitted from his govt nor do I have anyone who did but Nigeria was moving in the right direction. All indices were pointing positive.

But Sowore chose to amplify little pitfalls and made look gigantic. Let him enjoy.

On another note however, I really wanna understand the God or whatever GEJ is serving...

Dude moved from lecturing to Deputy Governor.

Something happened to the Governor, he became Governor.

Then he became Vice president.

Something happened to the president and he became president.

Now, all those who worked against him have tested a pill of their own..

Atiku
Saraki
Kwankwaso
Dino Melaye
Many of them.

Really, who is Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?
Can we just stop this? Sowore is a citizen just like you and I, and as such, had the right to support any government. He's got the right to his views He felt GEJ wasn't doing great (contrary to your view) and he spoke against him. He feels this government is doing worse and he rose against it too. Isn't this how it's supposed to be? The real problem is when we get so much attached to a leader to the point where anyone that has a contrary opinion becomes an enemy.

Nothing justifies what he's going through now. And even if you feel he should rot in hell for working against your prefered government, you must understand that speaking up against his ordeal is not solely for him but for the future of our country.

Good morning.

My first ever post! Please permit me to type in French.

Your approach is cool. Any opportunity to speak is welcome. I'd have reached out if not for my tight schedule. Bon courage !

Bringing religion into it will only cause division along those lines... These people know this but heck, they don't mind!
