wenks:
The Decision... This journey started in 2017 when my family talked to me about considering the relocation thingy and that was how we started o. From Uniben transcript wahala to WES ECA to IELTS (kai this one humble me)..God was indeed faithful to us.
IELTS... Wify and I wrote IELTS in 2017, and i had LRSW - 6.5,9,8,7. I felt so bad because I thought it was going to be a walk in the park. Wify had an average band of 7 which was all she needed. Na so I start to jack like who dey prepare for war o because after the month i selected to write, there was going to be an increase in BC IELTS costs which was not readily available. So the D-day came and when the result came out I can still remember how tears blurred my eyes as I checked my result on my way to the office while inside Danfo. I had made it and LRSW became 8.5,8,8,7.5 which brought our CRS score to 456 thanks to sibling in Cani points.
ITA in the bag... As expected the wave ITA released on June 25th, 2018 swept me off my fit like kilode!! and so the race to submit in time and avoid mistakes commenced.
NOC Mama @Newmum.... This lady is something else.. she helped me fine tune my JDs well and boy it was impressive. I had an interesting case because my company actually had me loaned to the client for which I had been working and so the ref letter had to come from my supervisor at the client office. Thanks @Newmum
POF In this I saw the hand of baba God as my POF was not complete until the last day I was to submit my application. I wanted to beat the bio-metric requirement but forwhere..CIC catch me for front. I used gift deeds from both my parents, added 6 months bank statement with Payslips and packaged the doc to upload in my CIC account. So my ppl do not be afraid to have huge sums enter your account at once. So long you can satisfactorily explain that it is yours, you got no problem.
The wait... See me see CIC o.. 3months after Jul 31st, 2018 AOR and my medical status was yet to be updated. Omo I wan faint. In that same period Oga Ralph Goodale was being kind and I made use of his service and voila, Med got updated on the 14th of October which also saw my AOR date change to Jul 30th, 2018. By 15th October I got Bio-metrics payment letter which I did same day and by 16th October I got the Request letter telling me to go carry out Bio-metrics. I did that on the 17th of October and by 18th of October, Bio metrics was marked complete. Then another wait o......fast-forward to Dec 7th, I got ADR request for sibling in canada residence information. I submitted on the 8th of Dec but omo these guys no gree o.. Got another ADR on the 14th of Dec for the same ADR..my brethren I added all the addables this time o just to avoid any other ADRs. Lo and Behold my application status for ADR got updated on the 17th of Dec and by Dec 18th I got ghost update.
The final days.. there was this trend of ppl getting their files approved but not getting PPR until they sent a mail to NEWDHELI office especially after finding out their files had been approved. Na so me sef shook head o after confirming on the 27th of Dec from a CIC agent that my file had been completed since on the 18th of Dec. So I sent a mail to NewDheli office on the 31st of Dec 2018 stating what the agent told me.. My people na so I wake up this morning 7th Januray 2019 to Passport Request from NewDheli which entered my mail box around 5:30am Naija time. I SHOUTED!!! This startled Wify and when I told her..Omo madame shout make my own shout sound like learner..lol..I have now sent a mail requesting a re-issue of my PPR letter to Accra.
It has been a heart banging journey but Baba God has been with us all through. I am happy. My ppl...God don arrange my level..the food done well.... I'm the first to say congrats!!! |

Ramj: They are still on break, online app button should have been back up since friday but guess holiday is over sweet.
Na we too like work here.
Student trascript for the records is optional.
Je m'appelle ICES @bolded, bro, oyibos are not always right. They are messing up this time. If they had wanted to enjoy longer holidays, why not officially extend their resumption day to next week? Nobody likes work, it's only right to do the right thing. Unfortunately, we've got no choice than to wait. |

bigwizzy001: I've been thinking to learn French will be a big hurdle to scale as its not my first language. I don't know more than Je mapelle & bonjour. How am I going to cope? Will I still need to sit IELTS if I'm going for TEF option or just TEF? Before nko, is it your first language you want to learn? On a more serious note, it is not your first language, that is why you need to learn it. Even if you don't get to use TEF later, the knowledge remains with you and will definitely come handy when you get to the promise land. Everyone started from Je m'appele and bonjour too! Soyez sage. |

Swansy10: If you really want to boost your score why don’t you learn french and write TEF. I don’t think that it would take upto a year. I’m just saying as 2021 is a long time from now. My 2cents You have a point.... But bear in mind that TEF is the senior brother to IELTS and the exam costs almost twice as much. Just stating the things to consider. But then again, learning French is never a bad idea. |

55emem55: Plenty grammar, when you can just advise him/her to use ICES and avoid the hassle that comes with WAEC.
*shrugs*
Good afternoon. Well, I do not think his question was about which body to choose. He said he wanted to evaluate his Msc using WES and went ahead to specifically asked how he'd go about sending his WAEC to them. Telling him to use ICES didn't just seem to be the appropriate answer as it might not address the actual concern in context. Having said that, @Alobay, @55emem55 thinks it'd be better if you go with ICES instead except, of course, if you had a particular reason for choosing WES. I used WES myself. I sent them my WAEC; there was no request for scratch card then so things were a bit easier. I advice you go with @55emem55's suggestion. Thanks @55emem55. |

Alobay: House please help. I want to do WES evaluation for my MSc, but I am surprised to read on WES website, demanding for my West African Senior School Certificate and saying it must even be submitted directly to WES by the appropriate examining body for evaluation. WES even said no evaluation will be completed without the final secondary examination results. How can one go about that? How can I get WASSCE to submit my certificate for me? Please help Ordinarily, I'd refer you to a page where this question of yours has already been answered like other seniors do to me but I will go ahead and answer since I've been snooping around looking for a question to answer just to remind myself I am still in this race and also to ascertain my own level of understanding. (Wow! What a long sentence. IELTS things ) So back to the question, just go to WAEC office (Yaba if you are in Lagos) and tell them you want to forward your result to WES. It is nothing new to them, people troop in there everyday for it. To save your time, go with two brown envelops, a colored print out of your scanned result, an affidavit, and some cash too (both for the processing fee and the waybill). Both DHL and Fedex will be there. Just pay them and collect the agent's number before leaving. They will pick it up from WAEC, waybill it and send you the tracking number. Good Morning. |

ChiefAlex: Sorry for that
You have a kind heart but most guys Na how den go Bleep the girl den go Dey find. Even the married woman in some cases may be the one who wants to Bleep her friend because she’s Hot and husband isn’t around. I don’t talk with emotions, I’m only saying what’s happening. Some guys go necessarily Dey form bestie with a girl to Dey bleep her anytime he wants or you don’t know about that lol? True. True. But are such people really besties? Having sex with a bestie would be so awkward and embarrassing. I can't even imagine it. Nah!!! God forbid. Lol |
Celebrities › Re: Allwell Ademola: I Fell In Love With Our Best Man After I Lost My Fiancé by etrange: 9:35am On Jan 05, 2019 |
ChiefAlex: Yes a woman would who cheat who cheat. But let me tell you about women. If someone is too close to them, they can easily be bleeped whenever the husband is absent because they’re moved by emotions. They might not have had sex before but it would happen the day they’re alone and husband is absent because their body is easily moved. So for your own safety, don’t marry any girl with male best friend You have your point. I just didn't like the fact that you called me names in your first post. By the way, my bestie is a lady. She's married now with a kid. I can't imagine myself doing anything with her. So think it's all about personalities. |

Check my signature Hehe... strong ass mofo. A woman that will cheat will cheat, male best friend or not. She doesn't need to introduce him as her bestie before before they can have sex. Stop allowing your insecurity and low self esteem get the better part of you. |

femi4: Women and the cliché: "You are my best friend, I cant marry you"
By default, the best person to marry should be your best friend You have a point but it's not always that easy. My bestie is a lady. I almost don't even see her as a woman anymore. |
Celebrities › Re: Allwell Ademola: I Fell In Love With Our Best Man After I Lost My Fiancé by etrange: 8:25am On Jan 05, 2019 |
Olalan: How people allow their fiance have best friend of the opposite gender amuses me with all the stories we have heard Lol... you'll dictate who should be your lady's best friend? What if she had a male bestie before meeting you, will you give her a change-of-best-friend form to fill and sign first before continuing with the relationship? Best friends are not chosen, they just happen. Some ladies have more male friends than female ones. If you separate such ladies from her age long friends, you might not be able to fill the entire vacuum. |
