Observation: An average Nigerian thinks it's ideal to trash other people's way of life. You see them making mockery of people's accents, food or culture in general. These guys don't know how different they are themselves as they have never left their country before. They somehow believe they are how humans should be while others just bizarre.

Are you a guy? If so, I'm both surprised and elated by your post. And I'm glad that's the first thing I'm reading on Nairaland today. Which truth slipped out? So he should have said he'd let an unaccompanied minor who's got his mother at home to live in the US all by himself so you'd know he's more lenient? Why not also ask him to take the immigration officers off the borders so people can just walk in? Or better still, ask him to send flights to Nigeria to pick anyone interested in moving to the US. I don't understand how you people see things. Being more lenient is about relaxing the immigration policy.
