Politics › Re: Marxists And Lefitsts Welcome by EVarn(m): 8:20am On Apr 15, 2017 |
Angelofdjeth: China isn't communist. It is state capitalist. They've headed in a revisionist direction since the death of chairman Mao, .04% of the population controls 70% of the wealth of China. Communism is the end goal of socialism. It cannot be immediately achieved without going through the phase of socialism Lol..China is capitalist?,this is a very ridiculous assumption. While it is true that the China is mostly socialist with the Communist Party of China owning just over 2% of the total companies in the country; but those companies are the main industries and are responsible for about 20% of industrial output and 50% of GDP. In China, government is the owner of land and all the banks; these are classic highlights of communist.Infact,Government controls right to assembly and speech. China was founded on Mao Zedong's marxist system, but was rapidly deregulated towards socialism to fastrack development,it would probably remain socialist. |

Angelofdjeth: On the contrary. Marxism will never die. Now more than ever is the time for it to rise again Lol....even the Chinese who are the strictest communists you'd find anywhere, are now shifting towards socialism and social democracy. Marxism theorize communism as the final perfect stage of societal development; this is quite erroneous. |

Blue3k: Not impressive at all you people celebrate mediocrity. If states weren't holding LG money hostage and gave them proper autonomy they would handle these small projects themselves. Please note state local and federal government need to work together in these sort of things.
Glad someone else sees obvious. Everyone can argue about pointless stuff. In a true federalism, the FG would be focused on Military and Foreign Affairs, not concerned about boreholes and farmlands. |
Politics › Re: FG Builds Borehole For Abia State After 25 Years by EVarn(m): 6:48pm On Apr 12, 2017 |
FG building boreholes,Nigeria really needs to restructure and decentralize, building boreholes is supposed to be the work of the LGs. |

Lucasbalo: You noticed that Missy did not reply you when you asked her to post the link that China is threatening to attack NK. She will type nonsense with no proof the same way she said she had something on me and when I challenged her, all of a sudden, she changed the subject. I am beginning to really believe she's not what she's pretending to be. I am calling for her to show her profile picture. People are getting to doubt her credibility. A lowly military employee more jingoistic than Four Star Generals. Lol..its simply a matter of understanding the political dynamics in the South China Sea; if the US deploy nukes to SK,China will respond by intensifying its support for NK's nuclear programme(including giving them unfettered access to ballistic missile technology),thereby ultimately arming NK with the ability to strike SK,Japan and even the US with nuclear warheads. If the US strikes NK,NK will retaliate by smashing SK and Japan, and then war starts. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: It Is Time For The Nigerian Army To React To The Killing Of Nigerians In SouthAf by EVarn(m): 5:35pm On Apr 11, 2017 |
To strike South Africa,we'd need 4th generation fighter jets that can travel long distance, but we do not have any. Infact,we'd need a military base and air-field near the South African border from where we can launch air and ground attacks as well as refuel. But I do not foresee any Southern Africa country allowing us to use its territory for such purpose. In conclusion,South Africa is far more equipped and technologically advanced than Nigeria. |

I have been hearing and seeing alot of publicity about the KOWA party, apparently, the party is canvassing and appealing to the sensibility of Nigerian youths. But I think if we are to invest our trust on any platform,we have to know what such a platform has to offer aside from propaganda(that was the mistake made with APC). To all KOWA party members on nairaland,I want to ask, what is your party's economic blueprint for Nigeria? |

Technically,Magu can decline to appear because the Senate rejected his appointment(meaning he is no longer recognized for the office and his appointment has been terminated),afterall, you cannot reject a person's appointment and then demand that he represent the institution you just sacked him from. Anyway,I think its good that they want to investigate and hopefully come out with a favorable resolution; but it shouldnt be turned into an avenue for pointless power play and muscle flexing. |

oaroloye: SHALOM!
Africa was not less-civilized than the Europeans.
For example, the image below- they depict two Oyinbo Lieutenants during the "ZULU WARS."
Do you know WHY they were killing as many Blacks as possible?
They were doing it, so that the Zulus would not take their FLAG- which their regiment left behind when they fled like the cowards they were, before the "less-civilized" "ignorant savages." Black men DIED, because of a piece of CLOTH!
THEY died, because of their piece of cloth!
THAT is whom you are calling "MORE CIVILIZED" than Africans! It is definitely not inferiority complex to admit that the white men were more civilized than our black ancestors; in terms of education, social structure, science and technology, politics, trade etc We had our own ways that was quite superb, especially when it came to military endurance and culture, but we were no match for them. Its the truth. |
No! Most people are so gullible that they would probable start praising that other life-form. We forget history and pay no attention to outcomes and consequences. What happened when Europeans first came into Africa? Africans saw it as a wonder and accepted them fully. they didnt know what kind of diseases they carried or the death and destruction that would follow. After hundreds of years Africans are still beneath the European although in theory they are equal humans.
Be mindful of Aliens
Hmm..though I will say the Africans worshipping Europeans part was largely due to ignorance, the Europeans must have been equally perplexed when they first witnessed a black man, remember they thought them to be apes.Until they realized that the continent was just less civilized. |

Politics › Re: Wants To Renounce My Citizenship, Advise Please. by EVarn(m): 9:53pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Perfectdanny: You can't deport the citizen of your country. For instance, John Boyega is a Nigerian but he is british by naturalization (he was born there) so there's nothing a british citizen is entitled to that he isn't. Oya go and deport him na because he has Nigerian roots.
Hope you get. If John Boyega commits a crime in the UK,he will be deported to Nigeria and vice versa. |
