The President-General of Ndigbo apex organisation, Ohanaeze, Chief John Nwodo, on Friday, said the Igbo preferred restructuring of the country to total break-up. In a statement in Abuja, Nwodo was quoted as saying this while addressing a cross-section of Ndigbo leaders in Abuja. He was quoted to have said the Igbo has more stake in Nigeria and as such cannot leave. The Ohanaeze leader said there was no part of the country where Ndigbo had not invested their resources, even without corresponding investment in Igboland. He said Ohanaeze does not consider secession as a reasonable option. The statement read, “He (Nwodo) said that restructuring will bring Nigeria to a level where every person of any tribe, religion or class, would have a sense of belonging and in return, give their best for the development of the country.” Nwodo also announced that steps were being taken by the body to carry the youth of the region along and ensure that Igbo people have a common and unified position on the way forward. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/07/igbos-prefer-restructuring-of-nigeria.html cc lalasticlala mynd44 missyb3

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries in Uganda was reported to have carried out a rather controversial decision back in April 2017. He allegedly burnt thousands of holy bible in his claims that they were misleading his members. Now a lawsuit has been filed against him in Nabweru court for violating Christian’s freedom of worship by burning several versions of the Holy Bible. In the lawsuit, some pastors representing over 200 Christians are seeking a court declaration that Bugingo’s acts or omissions of burning and destroying the Holy Bibles are illegal and unlawful, as it injures their religious feelings. The pastors also contend that Bugingo’s actions are an attack and insult to all Christians who believe in the Bible. They want the court to issue a permanent injunction, restraining Bugingo and his servants from further burning and destroying Bibles of several versions and making utterances, speeches, sermons or statements concerning the Holy Bible in a way that attacks, violets or insults their faith or religion. The pastors also want the court to award them damages at a rate of 25 percent from the date of judgment until payment is done and costs of the suit. In the court document sighted by New Vision, it was stated that on April 4, 2016 (Easter Sunday), Bugingo collected or gathered several Holy Bibles of different versions, translations, and languages with the word Holy Ghost or missing scriptures and advised his flock or followers who are ‘not strong’ to burn or destroy it. Nabweru court chief magistrate, Esther Nasambu who will preside over the case, has given Bugingo 15 days to file his defence on allegations of violating Christian’s freedom of worship by burning several versions of the Holy Bible. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has threatened to wipe out former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his household should he (Kanu) be killed. Addressing elders and chieftains at his residence in Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State on Thursday, Kanu said his organization would kill Obasanjo if he attempts to harm him. Kanu’s threat came after former President Obasanjo commented that Nigerians must do everything possible to stop the campaigning for the secession of Biafra, a cause spearheaded by Kanu. The former president made the comment on Tuesday while speaking at the International Conference Centre in Abuja during the launch of the biography of the late Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari. He stressed that a failure to put an end to the Biafra agitation could lead to a repeat of the 1966 coup and the other events that eventually culminated in the civil war. The Biafran agitator responded with a threat to the elder statesman. “I remember Obasanjo calling us names. They said we must eliminate Kanu and for those words coming out from his mouth, he is going to die,” Kanu declared. “I told Obasanjo that I have given instructions to IPOB should anything happen to me. Everything that comes from Obasanjo’s lineage will die the same day at the same time. It is a standing instruction to IPOB. “Wherever they are, we will kill them ourselves at the same time, the same day, 12 noon, wherever we find them all over the world. I am not like anything they have seen before,” Kanu boasted. more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2017/07/pro-biafra-leader-nnamdi-kanu-threatens.html cc mynd44 missyb3 obinoscopy lalasticlala
