Politics / Re: Where Should Nigeria's Next President Come From? by exu(m): 9:03pm On Jun 06, 2006
Seriously though if anyone can show me a Northern Donald Duke- or someone who even comes close- then they will have my support.
Politics / Re: Where Should Nigeria's Next President Come From? by exu(m): 8:47pm On Jun 06, 2006
He should come from the South-West or South-East. At least there, you are less likely to come up with a retard.

I THINK OJUKWU SHOULD BE THE PRESIDENT

lolol.

You guys crack me up.

On a serious note what is this nonsense I've been reading over here about how there is a plan to have the Presidency return to the North?

Also, but more importantly, why is this even necessary and what have Northern leaders done in their own part of the country to show that they deserve to have the Presidency?
Religion / Re: 6th June, 2006 - 6/6/06 - Day Of The Beast? by exu(m): 8:39pm On Jun 06, 2006

What's so special about this group- Brazil aside they're either teams in turmoil (Croatia) or just not very good (Australia, Japan).

Religion / Re: Jesus Is Real - A Living Testimony by exu(m): 2:19pm On Jun 05, 2006
For every story like this one- of a guy in white helping someone in a dire situation- there are millions about how a guy in white (or black) touched a young child inappropriately.

Think about that for a minute.
Nairaland / General / Online People Tracking by exu(m): 8:43pm On Jun 04, 2006
Is there a way of tracking someone down (to their address) with only a name and university course to go on?

I'm talking about online tracking of course- anything else requires to much effort/risk (I'd like to remain icognito if possible).

Legal means only. For now.

(Well we are Nigerians grin)
Family / Re: The Best Age To Start Having Babies. by exu(m): 8:01pm On Jun 04, 2006
Why is 'never' not an option for the vote?

And how can I see the results without voting?

P.S.
lol at whoever voted for 15-17.

Also, lol at whoever felt '15-17' should be an option.
Religion / Re: What Did You Learn At Church Today? by exu(m): 4:33pm On Jun 04, 2006
This should be interesting.

I realised something the other day- the only time that I was ever taught about hell/damnation was as a very young, very impressionable young boy.

After the age of 14 I was never to hear the message of hell again.

After the age of 16 I never went to church again (save for Christmas and the occasional Easter).
Politics / Re: Only A Military Man Should Be President, Says General by exu(m): 9:13pm On Jun 03, 2006
Hahahaha.

The guy's a slowpoke.

There are a lot of good things we can take from the American example; her recent choice of Presidents isn't one of them.
Religion / Re: My Reading Of The Holy Bible And Matters Arising by exu(m): 1:31pm On Jun 03, 2006
a) when sacrificing a bull, or a lamb (to me- the one true god) place some rosemary/thyme/mint on the animal. Hopefully this should eradicate any unpleasant odours.

b)Bring your daughter to me (if she is older than 12) I will give you a fair price. I'll pay in pounds sterling too.

c)Menstruation is tricky. Best to check which kind of underwear she is wearing- but be subtle. Very few women wear their best when 'bleeding'.

To gain success or something desirable by chance.

Something difficult/impossible to avoid or cause (by deeds).

Apparently the age of consent in Nigeria is 13?
Politics / Re: A Religious Leader To Rule Nigeria? by exu(m): 7:26pm On May 31, 2006
Somebody who is morally sound and Heaven conscious wont seek to rule this country.

Its not worth it, to waste eternity for the mundane.

So ensuring that the nation that you live in is a safe and productive place for your children and their children is not worth it?

It always strikes me how a nation that is evidently so keen to have children. A nation encouraged to have as many children as possible by it's religious 'leaders' does not want to ensure that the environment in which their children inhabit is a pleasant one.
Religion / Re: Telekinesis - To Those Who Do Not Believe In The Supernatural by exu(m): 7:15pm On May 31, 2006
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHA.

Oh boy.

Just reading this is embarrasing.

For the sake of national pride this thread should either be deleted or the name of this forum changed- to something that doesn't betray the nationality of the majority of it's members.
Religion / Re: Do You Believe In Luck? by exu(m): 7:07pm On May 31, 2006
yeah your right. How about my dogs that have not fallen sick in years. They have never been accident victims.

God allows his rain to fall on both the wicked and the saints. A time will come when the wheat will be seperated from the weeds. The weeds will be gathered together and burnt up.

That sounds a lot like 'luck' to me.
Religion / Re: The Quest for the Historical Jesus Christ - Fact or Myth? by exu(m): 2:39pm On May 31, 2006
While religions are fabrications, Christianity deserves special investigation because of its aggressive history, namely in the forced conversions and the murderous removal of opposing sects.

Most religions that have a history of more than 100 years used forced conversions, or just general abuse to get their way message across.

I think the problem with the togo players is that of poverty and illiteracy.

If ANYONE can tell me what illiteracy has to do with any of this I will send them 200 US dollars via paypal.
Religion / Re: Skeptics And Atheists In Nigeria: How Do You Manage? by exu(m): 7:58pm On May 28, 2006
What's this nonsense about people forcing themselves to not believe in God.

If you can't see something and you can't hear something then it's only logical to conclude that it isn't there.

Religion / Re: Skeptics And Atheists In Nigeria: How Do You Manage? by exu(m): 4:26pm On May 27, 2006
One day a young, recently married man awoke in the middle feeling mischevious. That evening the young man had consumed copious amounts of the finest Scotch whiskey but had sensibly gone to bed on feeling the effects of the alcohol- the tightening grasp the drink was having on his person. Apparently only he was aware of his inner state as he left the main dining room in which the other guest were situated and left for his first floor bedroom.

On arrival in his room he happened upon his hosts pet cat. Now the young man was allergic to cats but was also partially afraid. Cats had been a bane on his life since the childhood he spent with his animal loving mother.

And on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on.

See Goodguy- you're not the only who can tell (a pointless) story.

If everyone in the world tried to push their agenda with the amount of evidence that you so willingly provide then the whole world would like East Timor.
Religion / Re: Vatican Astronomer Says Creationism Is Superstition by exu(m): 4:16pm On May 27, 2006
I think it was the current Pope. Not that I care.

I don't personally know of any Christians who are Creationists.

As far as I know the literal interpretation of the Bible is not something encouraged within most churches (in Europe) nowadays. America (and the rest of the world) is another issue entirely.
Religion / Re: Vatican Astronomer Says Creationism Is Superstition by exu(m): 8:24pm On May 25, 2006
You act as if this is the only Christian to admit that creationism is bs.

Didn't the Pope say it not so long ago.

My question is: Isn't religion based on superstition?

Religion / Re: On the Apparent Correlation Between Religion and Social Ills by exu(m): 6:35pm On May 24, 2006
I was being facetious. Yes you're right, both non-religious and religious societies have suffered social ills but not on the same scale.

I'm still waiting on those stats that prove me wrong.
