Obi1kenobi:And it's expensive. |
Nigeria was once the largest producers of palm oil, now it comes in at a distant third (only 3% of the world production in 2010 vs Indonesia's 45% in the same year), however the uses for palm oil have diversified used in everything from food to electronics to fuel and electricity. One of Nigeria's biggest palm oil manufacturers companies, Presco, based in Benin City, grew significantly last year with an outlook for the next four years being a 10 percent annual profit growth*, as well as the rest of the industry, due to the central bank blocking foreign exchange on the industry and subsequently importation. "Palm oil is the most widely consumed vegetable oil on the planet. According to the World Wildlife Fund, an estimated 50 percent of packaged products sold in supermarkets contain some of the ubiquitous oil." - Boston Globe "Palm oil is an essential ingredient for Nigerian cuisine, and is also used in household goods like soap." - BBC *(According to Managing Director Felix Nwabuko) These are the largest oil producing states and states with the largest area under palm oil production in Nigeria: https://i.imgur.com/C02XAUE.png https://i.imgur.com/0tU6DHH.png 1. Igbo West Africa will win. |
nrexzy:Nothing. |
aribisala0:This is their reasoning, this is why they want to be Jews because they want to be white because they believe whites are superior. |
dare2win:"The Igbo are said to have migrated from Syria, Portugal and Libya into West Africa after the Assyrian army deported them." Is this how badly you want to be a Jew, when people will say you are the bastard offspring of Portuguese, Syrian and Libyan Jews? It's a pity. |
Bagehot:It's not by force to comment, notice me. |
I don't understand why people can't understand that things like origin of a people is a messy and delicate matter that cannot be approached with conjecture and random theories. Igbo people are neither wondering Israeli's neither are they Bantu. Let's exercise caution now that the Jews have come out and revealed the flaws in some widely believed Igbo origin theories. |
Obi1kenobi:There are no Bantu's in west Africa, there are semi-Bantus in Nigeria, the Tiv and Ejagham. Their homeland is roughly around the Tivi area. |
I just knew it would be Igboland. |
Amarabae:Well, before the white man there was nothing like Bantu, it is a linguistic term that has become an identity over time. Chasing the Bantu classification is only a little less pointless than the Israeli one. |
Opakan2:All Africans have some sort of inferiority complex, that's the reason why Orisha are loved in Brazil and Cuba and rebuked in today's Yorubaland. None of the current Yoruba leadership can be said to pick respect and tradition over money, not Tinubu, not Fashola, not even older leaders. |
Amarabae:Bantu is a specific language group that was identified by linguists, the Igbo language is not classed as a Bantu language, it is a Volta–Niger language which is related to Yoruba, Edo, and some other languages like Igala. |
Opakan2:Don't be silly, Yoruba people often claimed Oduduwa to have come from Mecca, there are all sorts of theories for the origin of people, and the Igbo aren't the first or last to have a minority that believes they come from some distant place. However, the Igbo and Yoruba languages are related and have a common origin, so if the Igbo are lost, so also are the Yoruba. |
Obi1kenobi:It's ignorance. Thankfully, the Jews are rejecting them so they will be pressed to rewire their thinking, more education on Igbo history and culture should be spread. |
Opakan2:Well, the Igbo and Yoruba languages are related, so if the Igbo have no history of origin, the same is for Yoruba. |
Lemba Jews have been revealed to not be Jews. |
Good for him. Rich men are worshipped as god in Igboland. |
This is just a waste of time. |
No aristo's there, you know many people in government hire call boys. Rich people do not get affected by things like this. colossus91:Bobrisky is not poor and he is popular, therefore he will not be there. This is just further excuse to lock poor people up. |
Virgohills:And probably still wealthier and more relevant than people calling her old. |
Please, somebody take her out of that country. |
F u c k the Caliphate. Congratulations dear. |
Nigerians are so simple to manipulate and push their buttons, they're like... |
So many hardworking fraudsters abroad. One side of Nigeria have cornered the fraud business, while the other owns the drug business. Industrious Nigerians! And they wonder why Nigeria is a dirty word. |
darioNaharis:Didn't 'God' create him? |
priceaction:And they're not even like the South Korean oligarchs (chaebol) who add value and produce diverse exports things efficiently. |
grandstar:Chai, Nigerians, Nigerians, Nigerians, 1 week memory is what is killing the country. |
ultron12345:Don't forget to attach your number and address to this comment so you are sure to receive Otedola's free rice for sycophants. |
LastMumu:"Femi Otedola Zenon Petroleum and Gas The diesel prince. The reasons behind Femi Otedola's astonishingly swift rise from relative anonymity to a position where his company, Zenon Petroleum and Gas enjoyed a near monopoly on Nigeria's lucrative market in diesel have attracted interest and speculation in equal measure." LastMumu:Shooting down other business and securing government contracts under an authoritarian state. |

Was your inquiry about true intellectual curiosity about your roots, or were you just looking to confirm a myth that anyone with common sense, and a grasp of history, geography and science, would have known was always a highly spurious claim? All so you can boost your worthless self-esteem than you are from some ancient, glorious heritage of "chosen people"?
