this is a serious question and not intended to cause offence to anybody. so, bear with me. now, why is it that i've never in my life come across an ugly fulani? i find this very puzzling. do ugly members of the tribe get exiled to other tribes or something. i dont know of any ethnicity in the world which has no ugly people, so maybe i'm missing something because it's simply not possible for a whole group of people to be 100 or even 90% good looking. now, i'm not referring to the photos on this thread but real life fulanis, especially the nigerian ones. Atiku may be mixed, for those who want to bring him up.
What is ugly is according to the person judging, many Nigerians see a straight nose and light toned skin and go crazy. |

The problem is that you seemed to have been siding with . . . 'the north'. . . . for a couple decades now, and the middle belt were does that filled the military in the late 60s. . . . . Jbenue: Haven't you ppl stolen enough from that land already, all your politicians are corrupt, come to think of it the only ruler with integrity in the history of nigeria was a man called Yakubu Gowon a man from a minority tribe. The same guy that stole a Benin artefact from the Benin Museum and gave it to Queen Eliza, an artefact she refuses to return till today? Interesting. . . . |
Culture › Re: The True Extent Of Alaigbo (Igboland) by ezeagu(m): 11:26pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
Well, I don't think this thread should end on that last post. The main issue on this thread seems to be with the question of whether Alaigbo is really landlocked and securing access to the sea (in case of any emergency like how it was locked away from the sea by Nigeria, with help from the Ijaw, in the 1960's which was a disaster). What about Igbo communities that are supposedly Aro people who have spread about to places that are in the other colonially made countries of Africa today, like Cameroon and Gabon. Are there actually Aro communities (or generally Igbo communities) who have settled out of Nigeria? And I'm talking about immigrants like those on Bioko island. |

2bosun: The Western world never highlights Nigeria (or Africa as a whole) in positive light, which is unfortunate because there are positive things happening on the continent. Make your own sh it and stop bothering people about stuff they actually have to deal with. British media wouldn't be so nice to America if it was as foolish and as useless as Nigeria as to not have a capable way to present itself to the world through propaganda through it's own media. China is thrown twice more sh it at by the Western media but they suck it up and create their own sh it throwing platform through their own media. When will Nigerians figure out that no one cares about fixing your image issues? |

tom28: Now if such a scenario occured then it would be one of the easiest military adventures undertaken by the Americans.Firstly for succesfull military invasion to be launched into Nigeria the U.S airforce will have to bomb key cities in nigeria like Enugu,Port Harcourt,Kaduna,Onitsha,Kano,FCT Abuja. America knows that the east isn't going to fight them if their intention is to break Nigeria. https://www.burdandkeyz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/son.jpg |

Dede1: Any group of people who forgot where they started a journey will never get to the destination. Japan has not forgotten about its culture amidst advancement in technology and education. Every level of education is impacted through Japanese language not English, French, Chinese, German or Spanish. Dede1: Personally, I do not see any success in Igbo land since the area can not be regarded as nation state. Kpom! Kwem! If there was success in Igboland, people would be so forward thinking that they will be angry that an Igbo country hasn't reached Mars yet. People from successful countries are too busy trying to think of ways to get themselves and their nation (the true definition, an extended family) to the next frontier, which is why you would never see a 'Japanese are the most successful ethnic nationality in Asia' thread, at least from a Japanese. |
Politics › Re: What Is The Cause of The Mismanagement of Africa? by ezeagu(op): 7:25pm On Jun 16, 2011 |
hackney: Management is a trait or character that is synonymous with highly developed humans.
If your brain nerve wiring is less than other races then you may not have the ability to be truly organised like them. its like asking someone with no hands to pick something up. the ability is not there. simple
Across the human race (using the color spectrum from white on one end to yellow\brown all the way to black), the darker your race is, the smaller your brain or at least the less nerve inter-connections. Have a good look at all the black nations and then look at the black nations that have whites in them. they lead the others immidiately; S.A is a typical example. its the largest economy in africa despite all they've been through; does anyone here for one second believe that its the blacks there?
The size of countries' economy , grade of infrastructures and facilities, technological advancement, behaviour and ability to make things, all follow this trend too.
One may doubt it despite the glaring trend observable in the world over. the reason for this doubt also goes back to the brain issue.
The truth is that as a people (not individuals) we may not be able to achieve social order or management simply because we cannot.
Haiti is still suffering from the earthquake of almost a year but japan that had a similar catastrophe is back. all trends. Interesting, so does this mean you are incapable of managing your life? |

buzugee: scandinavia ? very neutral country full of nice and sweet and somewhat Godly people. they dont start or fight wars. read the books of proverbs and you will see that people who are sweet and non-evil and who dont wish evil on other people will always succeed. dont quite think they were involved in all the colonialism crap. your answer might be in there somewhere. Here's a few points. 1. The majority of these Scandinavian populations are atheist 2. Many of these countries had people who supported Hitler 3. Some of them practised colonialism and if not colonialism, they were involved in slavery. |

APGA is just a political party, it's not a culture or something a whole group should be forced to identify with. This doesn't mean they cannot win the majority of a region. |

buzugee: i take it you have not delved into the underbelly of japanese life. its worse than africa. a concoction of perversity and suffering and degradation. The only crisis happening in Japan is that of their falling population, I highly doubt worshipping who or what you want to worship has anything to do with how well your country will be. Nigeria is the most religious country on earth but still the crapest, oh, I forgot, maybe it's because their ancestors didn't worship white Jesus. Oh, Ethiopia is one of the oldest Christian nations on earth, did that stop them from Africa's curse? Did that stop them headlining Live 8 of the 1980's? I'll leave it to you to answer. |

Horus: The Government is the innocent mirror of the nation. The quality of government and its leaders, is simply a reflection of the collective consciousness of all the people in Africa. In some instances, leaders who came to power as the champions of anti-corruption have themselves been charged with being involved with levels of corruption even more serious than those of their predecessors. If the collective consciousness in Africa is disintegrated and negative, and people are not behaving in accord with Natural Law, then problems and corruption will be an unavoidable phenomenon of governments. If, on the other hand, the collective consciousness in Africa is positive, integrated, and coherent, then governments will not be influenced by any negativity. If the people in Africa wish to be protected from corruption in governments, then they must create an integrated collective consciousness. Positivity and harmony should be so strong and dense in national consciousness that negative influences cannot penetrate it. Thanks for this answer, you are right, the next question was obviously going to come: Why are Africans like this, and we know Africa was not the only land colonised. |
