Then you are clearly banking on wishful thinking as there is no one ready to carry out your improbable dirty deed - LOL, talking of hollow empty words of a chest beater.

However, here is a solution to your little problem of intolerance i.e. your unwillingness to share the Continent of Africa ( LOL, not even the country) with the likes of me: emigration, as many of your blodas are already doing it; a lot are rushing to Europe over the Sahara Desert through Libya and across the Mediterranean Sea, where many abruptly find everlasting peace at the bottom, after being unceremoniously jettisoned by their couriers or abandoned on failed rickety boats.

Of course you can try Israel or Amelica where Netanyahu or Donald will be waiting for you with opened welcoming arms. LOL.

Alternatively you can try holding your breath for ever and boom - problem solved, no need sharing the same breath talk less of the same continent.
It is already beginning, people without your reasoning will be pushed aside at best. Some people trek through the Sahara, but we all the know who lives in the shitest parts of West Africa.

It clearly shows that you don't actually know what you're talking about. You're still using nonsense false sense, how can the thieving of cattle or murder be met with genocide and then have the mind to ask the public for understanding? Nonsense.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Cattle Breeders List Condition For Peace In Southern Kaduna by ezeagu(m): 6:34pm On Jan 03, 2017
ItsMeAboki:
You are 100% correct; the poor perception of the public for the herdsmen is the result of information mismanagement where one side has the loudest voice and ear of the public.

The media has woefully failed in giving factual and balanced report over the issue; they often invite only one side to discuss or relate opinions forgetting that there are always two sides to a story.
In this way, the herdsmen are always seen as the aggressors; while their nomadic lifestyle, poor education and lack of exposure lends them no voice and access to the media to counter such false claims against them.
The bias by the media is not surprising because majority of the houses are owned, manned and controlled by the largely Christian southerners who in turn have long established open hatred for the Hausa Fulani and Islam.

At the same time, political leaders are fanning the embers of hate and mistrust among the ppl through so many unguarded utterances and loaded speeches of hate as ethnic champions - in order to advance their selfish agenda.

It is unfortunate that we live in a country where some ppl are hell bent on disuniting it.
Complete trash, I don't know why I share a continent with beings like the above.

Well, it up to the Youths of Southern Kaduna. If they can't stop killing our Fulani folks for no reason. This cycle of violence will never end. I'm a 100% blooded Fulani man. I know how we treat vengeance. The root cause of this crisis is nothing short of vengeance. The host Community comitted wicked act on the Fulani and their properties. This wickedness go unreported by media. Now that the Fulani are out there to take their vengeance, all of a sudden hell break loose. Even myself I'm a afraid of hurting my Fulani folks. Cos I know what revenge is to them. Plus, Fulani herdsmen are very good at minding their business. But if you provoke them, you have yourself to blame. Let's all hope this cycle of violence will end. Even in Central and Northern Kaduna, Hausa farmers face the same problem with the Fulani herdsmen, but because understanding and mutual respect it rarely lead to bloodshed.
So basically your people are murdering animals? Because that's all I got from the rubbish you wrote above.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Cattle Breeders List Condition For Peace In Southern Kaduna by ezeagu(m): 6:29pm On Jan 03, 2017

Sentiments aside, 90% of people just sit down in their homes and pass a guilty verdict on the herdsmen. Yes there are stories about herdsmen allowing their cattle to trample upon farmlands and there are stories about herdsmen killing villagers but there are also stories about villagers hijacking cattle and killing them for meat and also villagers killing herdsmen over arguments. At the risk of sounding very very politically incorrect, I would say that much of the crimes committed against herdsmen go unreported and unpublicized while much of those committed by the herdsmen get publicized. Nevertheless the security guys must be more proactive to stop the killing of anybody. Anyone who kills in the name of herdsmen, farmers crisis should be hanged.
It's really dumb to say the least to compare the raising / mass murdering of men women and children to the hijacking of cows, what you wrote is really trash.

All I know is that brokin's used on a daily in big cities in Anambra at least, and in Aba (the places in the East I've stayed). I can't speak for Owerri or Enugu but it's not mad to think that the use of brokin extends in these places too. Even to enter simple okada in Awka, you still hear Pidgin English and Igbo being spoken by the driver. I'll admit there's a large Hausa community in Awka but I still hear full-on pidgin and definitely phrases like abi (or ba), etc., on a regular.

I'm not saying that Igbos native to the East speak the most pidgin compared to Urhobos or Lagosians but I can't get behind this your notion that Igbo Pidgin is only a thing in Potakot. That's not what I've experienced. There may be certain words that get left behind at River Niger border but regional forms of pidgin are strong in the East from what I've seen and heard.
People in most parts of Imo, in Abia and Ebonyi don't even use the word 'oyibo' they use 'bekee', like aku bekee. There's absolutely no point of speaking pidgin in Aba, it's a not a mixed language city by nature like PH and Warri, people learn Igbo when they're in Aba. Can you imagine Ikpeazu addressing Abia people in pidgin like Wike does in Rivers? Weird.

Look at the witnesses in this video for instance, although they may probably be speaking standard English because of the situation, you can still see from how clear their language is of pidgin that English is the second language after Igbo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmJZ9NFrVZg

Traders throughout Nigeria know pidgin, but I don't know English-Igbo mix using strong pidgin words or use abi or ba, especially when theres relevant versions in Igbo like okwa and kwa.

In places like Warri and Port Harcourt which are indigenously mixed areas pidgin in a mainstay, this is why I say people do not generally use pidgin as a main language in Igboland because there's no point. I agree that people in other hinterland areas in the west and north do not speak anything much other than their language, but in Igbo hinterland it's Igbo/Engligbo that is mostly spoken unless foreigners are around. Even Port Harcourt sef uses Igbo a lot, the Oyigbo side is completely Igbo-speaking no point of pidgin there.

Yeah, I still can't get with this, ezeagu. Pidgin's used on a daily basis whenever I'm in Anambra (even the village), again, especially with the younger generation. I'm more with bigfrancis' statement that there are regional forms of pidgin all throughout Nigeria but popular/widely acknowledged ones (inc. abi, shey, etc.) are used even in the East.

Pidgin's spoken everywhere in Awka and Onicha at least. Ditto for Aba.
A lot of kids have lived and worked in Lagos which is why those words may be heard, but the overwhelming majority do not use words like shey and shebi instead they use words like okwa, if you ask a mama in the market 'shey you get tokunbo clot ni?' she will be lost. You can see the complete absence of pidgin in things like music and films set in the east, even Aki na Ukwa doesn't feature pidgin.

Your post is quite apt. Our youths need opportunities to grow and become wealthy. Grovelling or kowtowing is not our culture and we don't need to adopt what is alien to us just because others do it. But in spite if this our culture makes room for respect for elders but also accommodate such openness where people are allowed to speak their minds. The man Leo Stan is an eminent business man and one cannot discount him. I truly admire his strides in business. At a time the only laptop I used was his Zenox laptops and they were terrific. .. and he is building capacity as well. So we can leave him with his opinion. It will not hurt.
I know, but victim blaming is pointless, Igbo youth did not fail Nigeria, Nigeria failed them so a lecture is not what they need rather support and backing up with a powerful voice against the failed state of Nigeria. It's very easy to blame jobless igbo youths for their predicament, but the real task would be criticise the government with as much of a voice as used against Igbo youth. Notice I didn't mention anybody's name.

I just think some rich men wish Igbo youths would grovel and crawl after them like seen in some other parts of the country. I don't know any Nigerian ethnic group that is half rich let alone mostly rich. What Igbo youths need is opportunity, their attitude including individualism and self-confidence has not stopped Igboland having the highest human development in rural areas, instead of trying to encourage the government to support these young kids some people are trying to break their spirit and trying too hard to seem 'objective'.

Please stop talking rubbish. I agree it is a tangent but you started it and You need educating

Where does the Lagoon come from?
Is it magic? you clearly have no knowledge of geography and are trying to bluff your way out. Every body of water except the oceans has a detectable source. We know the River Niger starts in Guinea The Benue River in Cameroon. The Lagos Lagoon is not a Lake so please tell us where does the water in it come from?

I too acknowledge the potential of ports in the east there is no argument there so stop arguing with your shadow. The truth is without investment those ports will never take off.Such investment is very unlikely to come fro the federal government that is the truth so what other way?

I am a realist,, because I present reality does not mean I am against it but you folk have this victimhood mentality and see people who do not subscribe to your fantasies as enemies.

What needs to happen to make any port in the east work? I have written about this before on Nairaland. You prefer to wallow in victimhood and indulge in Fantasy. I will reiterate the reasons why Lagos is so dominant .
Lagos was relatively cheap to develop. When Lagos was developed in the Colonial era the major rail track linking the North to the south was Kano to Lagos. This then led to the development of the major road artery in Nigeria from Lagos. Bad planning on the part of government ,coupled with limited resources meant a concentration of the evacuation infrastructure and planning around Lagos. If any ports could have been developed elsewhere equally cheaply they would. The actual port infrastructure is relatively a small part of the cost of development like I have said previously those areas on the sea in Bayelsa or Rivers state do not have a terrain that lends itself to evacuation infrastructure. Even Onne that you make so much noise about what is the road link from Onne to Aba or Port Harcourt. We must not forget that in the Military era states were governed often by non indigenes and there was no strategic planning by governors. All strategic decisions were taken at National level by a government located in Lagos

For any port in the SS/SE to prosper it must serve The NE parts of NC and Cameroon as well as the SE and that means road networks. Without those networks in place no investor will come in. I believe though that we are on the right track with the Road to Bamenda from Abakaliki and also the Calabar Highway. It makes a lot of sense to have a port in that area that serves Maiduguri and Cameroon but it requires money . And whilst that infrastructure is being awaited 2 more ports are being fasttracked in Lagos. Now we cannot blame this all on the FG . We must hold people like Ibori,Amaech,Akpabio Uduaghan and so on to account. Those 2 new ports in Lagos are not FG funded they are privately funded because investors have confidence in the way Lagos is being governed. I am afraid the 13% derivation money from $100 oil has been wasted. The money Ibori stole could have changed the region
I guess the buzzword is "victimhood".

"The lagoon receives the discharge of the Ogun River and the Osun River."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagos_Lagoon

"What needs to happen to make any port in the east work?"

"Bad planning on the part of government ,coupled with limited resources meant a concentration of the evacuation infrastructure and planning around Lagos."

"Even Onne that you make so much noise about what is the road link from Onne to Aba or Port Harcourt."

You've answered the question. Furthermore, the port at Onne only needs expanding in terms of cargo services and the monopoly Intels has on these ports including Onne shouldn't have been there so it doesn't have such heavy handed fees and so the designation of oil and gas ports can be set aside for cargo ports.
