I've never heard of Egyptian influence on Igbo Ukwu, most of the conventions follow todays northern Igbo culture. The whole 'Jew' thing sounds far-fetched to me. There's no solid evidence, and the whole conversation sounds very paternalistic, and yes, racist. No one is asking Israel to open its gates and flood its country with millions of Igbos. The main issue at hand is that an ancestral connection between certain areas in Igboland and ancient hebrews can be established without any need for aliyah (return to israel) and if at all any authentic number should be granted return rights, that number would be run in hundreds of thousands, given that not all Igbos might have that connection given that Igbo clans migrated from different areas at different points in history. Take example, the falasha jews of ethiopia. Now, not all ethiopians have jewish connections but only a fraction of them. The intimidating number of Igbos has been the main deterrent factor keeping Israel from making a formal proclamation on Igbo-Hebraic discussions that have been going on for decades now. In addition, Israel is such a tiny country that would barely contain an extra 5 million people.

After ancient relations might have been established, Aliyah needs not take place whatsoever. I'm well conversant with the YDNA make up of Yorubas, with over 90% pointing to sub-saharan african. It is actually the Igbos with about 80% pointing to subsaharan african origin, which leaves the remainder to some possible 'outside' origin. Now the MtDna test results (maternal origin) of the Igbo indicates they share same maternal dna with the Egyptians and Algerians of North Africa.

The DNA results speak for itself.

Where's this from? All the DNA I've seen are 100% African, not even a trace of "other".

There are no ancient Hebrew scripts found in Igboland. The 'Star of David' or hexagram, as a simple literally universal shape, is common to almost every culture. The symbol itself wasn't used by Israelites or Judea, it has been popularised in the last 500 years. Carbon dating has found human settlement in Igbo land for thousands of years before 3000 BC, Igbo-cultural settlements have been suggested at 6000 BC. What Egyptian "model"? What other "Star of David"? Evidence of the "Obu Gad" is needed, anyone credible dated this? And again, what does 'Gad' mean in Igbo, why is there no earlier mention in texts on Nri of "Obu Gad"? Why is the name 'Gad' so different from normal Igbo lexicon that does not end words in consonants except 'n' and 'm'? How did Igbo change from an Afro-Asiatic language to a Niger Congo language with no evidence of Afro-Asiatic influence? Why are there no other people in Nri history named Gad? Again, what does colonial minted coins have to do with 'Igbo Jews'?

Actually that's not true, DNA confirms that the haplogroups of Igbo people are the same as those around, e.g Igbo people have no "Jewish" DNA, but African DNA that predates "Jewish" DNA.
