If you recall my previous definition of opposition to President Goodluck administration, I made it clear before the emergence of new PDP and formation of APC that most people in government are driven first, by personal interest then come regional and subsequently followed by religious interest for the Southerners while there is no difference between regional and religious interest for a core Hausa/Fulani muslim. As Kwankwaso tells us his affinity with his brethren in Niger Republic is more bonded than for Tiv and Igala in Benue or Plateau State.

Kwankwaso was right. Because as an Igbo man, I has more in common with Manfe, Ekondo titi, Abana, Limbe and Bamenda people in Cameroon than most people that even call themselves southern Nigerians.

Just yesterday I was talking to my niece who teaches in Port Harcourt and she laughed and told me that it's all politics that she had been paid, unless they paid in isolation. This is a real person and not a politician.
She then mentioned that, Amaechi decided upon himself to be paying Youth Corpers serving in Rivers State 10 thousand naira monthly which is not a mandatory payment because he wanted to be seen as a generous governor and this payment has become a burden the state and they are owing the corpers a 4 months arrears.
He can easily tell the corpers that they don't want to be generous anymore but he promised to pay them this December because he doesn't want to be unpopular to any sector in an election season, but she has no idea if his promise of payment has been fulfilled.
It sounds very plausible to me. But it seems to be that what most of you do is once you see a headline about someone you don't like, you instantly decided what you are going to say without even bothering to even read the story, let alone think and analyse the plausible chances of the content.
And that is just sad.
