First the idea that they pay in instalments for the phone is wrong, they pay for data and voice bundles as well as the phone, in Nigeria Glo does it too with their iPhone sales.

Now in America you can work for one month on minimum wage and afford a phone but in Nigeria one year of minimum wage can't afford the same phone.

You are talking about 40 thousand naira phones and comparing it with 400 thousand naira phones that Nigerians buy used after 3 years.

Since Endsars, banditry and those inciting violence, life have been difficult for the average Nigerians.

The Endsars protest started everything in the south, it brought about different security issues which affected traders and wholesalers plus the supply chain, these people have to recoup investments by doubling the prices of foodstuffs

Banditry and bokoharam in the north are affecting farmers and food supply.

Those inciting violence on a particular tribe through the media created food embargo which also led to increased in the prices of food.

Do you know that only the south are experiencing 1000% increase in the price of foodstuff?

In the north food are still very cheap

But Nigeria definitely does not deserve the bad publicity it gets. The problems is that so many Nigerians have no national pride and will blame everything on Nigeria. A co worker once said something bad about Nigeria in my presence and I got very upset and told him to go to hell. Later he came and apologised and told me that I am the only Nigerian that defends Nigeria. He told me that he used to work with many Nigerians that have nothing good to say about Nigeria.

1) Tell me in any field of crime where a Nigerian is among the first 10 most wanted. ( Research CIA records)
2) have you ever heard of drug dealers like Pablo Escobar and many others from south America? How many of such killers has Nigeria produced? Why don't Colombians receive a bad reputation like Nigeria?
3) How many alpercinos has Nigeria produced? How many mafia organisations has Nigeria produced?
4) Have you heard of the way some American troops treated Iraqis? Is that America's fault? if not then why blame Nigeria for the bad behaviour of some her citizens in another country.  Why don't America receive as much a bad reputation as Nigeria?

Africa should be grateful to Nigeria for sending their troops in troubled contries, but rather than that they talk of illegal immigration.

On a closer look he discovered that the man was a lecturer at one of Nigeria's top universities before relocating to UK for "greener pastures", only to end up as maiguard. Chai, God forbid!

That security guard has earned more in one year than many of the Nigerian lecturers still striking over ASUU demands and non payment of salaries.

All while having access to electricity, public works, health care and security.

Only a deluded individual will struggle to understand why Nigerians are leaving in the thousands.

Please people should not be angry with this. I think our military expecially the army has issues. The nigerian military fought a supposedly ill equiped biafran army for three years.
Also it did not really defeat the so called militants in the niger delta. Infact the government paid for peace. The boko haram issue has been going on for years without abating. Now bandits as distinct from boko haram fighters.(or are they all the same?) are attacking and killing soldiers at will.
Maybe we have saboteurs but I believe it's more than that. This carnage cannot continue like this. No matter how negative our perception of the military is, they are still the nigerian military, the last line of defence.Something is definitely wrong.

The Nigerian military is fucking useless, they are only good for killing and assaulting unarmed civilians. When the civilians get armed and start shooting back they run away and start giving excuses. We are lucky we don't have any real enemies or we would have all died since.

Either way I am not even surprised. When their colleagues were beating residents trying to protect themselves and arresting those who criticised their darling daddy they didn't know their turn would soon reach.
