AntiWailer:
He don start.

The curfew might be necessary to clean and disinfect general places before the next day.

Everything is not about human right, common sense can prevail at times.

Not all businesses would be allowed to open yet.

I am sure Government workers and schools are still closed. The time is also 9 - 6 meaning that no office will expect u to get to the office before 9.

In the speech, Buhari also made it clear that each state will handle their peculiar issues accordingly.

Cut him some slack. At least he did not advise citizens to drink disinfectants like the most powerful man in the world did. (Yes, plenty morons drank it in USA)

What useless economy is the lawyer talking about ? An economy that is practically 100% dependent on oil price will not listen to English or Law terminologies. Even better prepared countries are technically in recession. There is no miracle anybody can perform on Nigeria economy right now.

Things are not yet normal and should be seen that way for now.
What a baseless lie, he didn't tell them to drink disinfectant, he told them to inject it directly into their blood stream. grin

But seriously though only a jobless person or housewife will be able to follow this night curfew. People who live in Lekki or have to cross Third mainland every morning will understand.

What do you expect from someone who doesn't live there and takes private jet, helicopter and motorcade everywhere he goes?

Politicians make laws thinking everywhere is Abuja.
Health › Re: Ogun Launches COVID-19 Mobile Laboratory For Testing (Photos) by Farki: 8:47am On Apr 28, 2020
This is very good, Ogun state has many remote villages and really bad roads so they should just test at the villages without risking cross-infection by travelling to testing sites.

While they are doing this and Innoson are working towards making ventilators some people are carrying out 'verbal autopsy'.

My sentiments too! smiley

Greedy and arrogant Nigerian doctors think every day would be Christmas when they would be taking advantage of poor, vulnerable individuals! Now they've been called upon to live up to their hypocratic oath more than ever before, they've all scaled the back fence and gone AWOL! smiley
No PPE, no guidelines, no equipment, no statistics yet you want them to perform magic. I don't know how patients will expect doctors to treat their self-inflicted misery in a day like they are some kind of mechanic.

Common sense is very far from you.

Basher8583:
Don't mind those ladies. They are probably circumsized and don't enjoy it.
I actually didn't think of that at all. Really when you think about it women have been brainwashed to hate sex or use sex as a form of currency not just something they enjoy doing.

That's why women are always annoyed by 'sluts' giving it up too easily. When you press them they admit that they want it but feel guilty because they don't want to be an outcast around other women.
Family › Re: How Do I Handle A Husband Who Wants To Have Sex Almost Everyday? by Farki: 11:43pm On Apr 27, 2020
After reading the comments by women here I have completely turned off the idea of marriage from my mind.

Imagine sex being seen as a chore, some are even just faking the whole thing just to keep the marriage.

And the men will still go out to get the sex their wives aren't giving them.

Why would I be deceiving myself with marriage now? undecided

Ah religion will not kill us in this country.
Education › Re: Lagos Bars Private Schools From Online Teaching by Farki: 12:23pm On Apr 27, 2020
I don't know why the people in charge of education in Lagos are thinking like illiterates. First the age limit on admission now it's banning people from online classes because of stupid reasons which are partially the government's fault.

Fuel is cheaper because of the lockdown and won't the family use their generator for other uses? Does she think you need a mega generator to power a laptop or small computer?

The teachers are online with the students so the concerns about students 'being exposed to pornograhy are weak and silly'.

If they are concerned about online bullying they can easily report the students responsible. It's not like Lagos State government was doing anything about bullying in real life where older students see it as their right to bully younger ones. Do these people know how the Internet works at all?

Overall weak silly excuses, I'm disappointed. undecided

wonder233:
I support the government on this. These Shylock Lagos private school owners will stop at nothing to exploit.
Let parents at least use this lockdown period to bond with their kids. Let the kids learn other things like crafts, domestic chores, etc. Let them be revising what they've been taught before, or let them just play.
We run a unified academic calendar at primary and secondary level. So, if they conclude their term online, so what happens to their counterparts in government schools?
Exploit? huh

The class is cheaper than the actual school fees and it only lasts for 2-3 hours a day.

even those telling you the story can't be believed. America was instrumental to that that broke up the Korean peninsula. They took side with south. Common, don't expect the north to be in their good book. The west will always demonize what they can't force to follow them.
I am well aware of how the US operates, that doesn't mean North Korea isn't a horrible place.

you people believe the western media too much. How many countries that are not autocratic can survive what those people are surviving ? How many are better than NK in terms of technology? Knowledge?
North Korea is effectively a hereditary dictatorship that only exists because China needs a buffer against the influence of South Korea and independent thinking.

The people there are frequently starving and entire families are killed because one decided to escape the dungeon of a country or criticise the government.

The people are suffering because of the hypocrite Kim and his horrible family who hate the west yet can't stop buying their stuff.

Is it North Korean propaganda that tells me things like this that I should believe?

The Doctors should please call of the strike, because we are now at a crucial time that their service is highly needed, and the government too should sort out any issues that is causing the strike.
The doctors are our essential helper now o...
It's not that simple, it could be an issue of no salary payment, no equipment or no protection. Right now we don't know but a doctor in this time period who isn't adequately protected is in serious trouble. Of course if patients don't recover at the appropriate time or at all their families will want to fight the doctors who are often expected to work magic and heal the sick.
