Very good from the soldier airman, giving me small hope for the armed forces.

Wow some people are going to be in severe pains by tomorrow morning.

But really anyone with common sense would be able to tell the difference between fertiliser which is actual shit and food.

If you personally have no wish to join that is okay. But it is very wrong to discourage others from joining. If our soldiers are not protecting us do you think you would be wherever you are typing and posting on NL? Do you think you would see food to eat? Do you think you would be able to go to work? Do you think there would even be internet?
He is simply sparing a soul from saying "Had I known" while a terrorist bastard fires RPGs over his head.

And to be quite honest I hate this "soldiers protect us" drivel. The military protects the interests of who pays them, the military will not hesitate to kill and brutalise the same civilians they are supposed to be protecting. Even at that many people around this country are simply not safe. Maybe what you said applies in Europe or Asia but not here unfortunately.

As a matter of fact l, low academic requirements of our armed forces is the major problem we have
Very true, what else would explain the Army Director of Information saying that videos are photoshopped, a whole Major General.

Every once in a while a post will reach the front page about a Nigerian getting awards and commendations in the US and British armies they won't come here because they know they won't get far.

The people's eyes have been opened, O how I love the Internet.

No intelligent individual will join such an army so they can drink mud and eventually die in a ditch while their superiors are sipping champagne abroad.

Even better is that I have seen that the cruelty of the army didn't leave with the military era, it is alive and well.

Thank goodness I didn't make the foolish choice of signing up for the NDA after graduation, I'd rather join the Royal Army, US Army, the FFL and even the Benin Republic army than Nigeria's army.

You have no point but a bittered soul, how has is wife not having a political experience becomes nepotism?
Because she got there through her husband, full stop, is she was a nobody she wouldn't get that spot despite her qualifications.

He singlehandedly brought Ambode to the political scene and he decide to stop him, I don't see that as nepotism but disloyalty from the subordinates.
That's the problem, is Tinubu supposed to decide or the people of Lagos State through their votes? Is Tinubu the owner of Lagos State? Should someone who should be retired still be making decisions over the state?

You support him bringing Ambode into politics yet claim his wife being a senator isn't nepotism.
Can you please, list some of the main issues facing Lagos state, that he was unable to address while in office?
Did you read any of the links I posted at all, especially the interview with Kofoworola Bucknor?

Just to name a few, the severe housing deficit, the traffic problem, the sanitation problem, the fact that Lagos State still doesn't have a functioning metropolitan railway network, the rot of most Lagos roads at the time. That interview was last year and she is right that from then until now Lagos has remained mostly the same.

I don't see anything bad appointment a qualify member of the family to sensitive government position, do you expect him to put them in senseless position, Moreover, can you list some of his family he appointed and their position in the sensitive position.
Thanks
I'm sure you think this is a joke but it isn't, if someone who shouldn't be in government is managing it's affairs how do you expect it to work? How can corruption be countered when some people refuse to speak because it will bring shame to their families?

The list is here, read it this time

The problem with this part of the world is that we are used to rubbish being normal.

Can you proof your allegation with some example of his nepotism while in government.
I could remember while he was in government, he had some Easterners as some members of his cabinet and government. He owns an investment where he employed qualified candidates from all tribes.
- His wife despite having no political experience besides sleeping with the governor is a senator with 3 tenures. He also has a habit of appointing his family members to sensitive government positions.
https://elombah.com/nepotism-asiwaju-bola-tinubu-continues-his-rapacious-hold-on-lagos-state/amp/

- He refused to support Ambode for reelection and obviously he won because whoever the Jagaban decides to be governor will be governor.

https://www.thecable.ng/tinubu-ambode-imbroglio/amp

- His former VP acknowledged his nepotism and inability to address the main issues plaguing Lagos.

Reading beyond headline will prevent future embarrassment for you. I already debunked this.
Here is the meat of the gist which the headline ignored.

Someone is either shot or not.
It doesn't take months to determine this.

Blunt trauma has nothing to do with bullet shooting.
Someone hit the victim with a strong object.
They aren't even sure where the incident happen.

From Lekki genocide to Lekki massacre to now Lekki shooting.
The language of misinformation is getting softer.

Unfortunately, these emergency activists didn't care about other confirmed deaths
from other part of the state because their lives are less important for media sympathy
than the Lekki alleged "genocide".
Don't worry first you said nobody died, soon your nyash will be opened.

Continue to get hypertension over these posts though. grin grin

Look at this fool, policemen were killed during the day by hoodlums. Govt imposes a curfew with ample time for everyone to adhere. You are saying people were at the tollgate waving flag, during a curfew. You deserve to be shot. Shows you are part of the hoodlums. Law abiding people were at home obeying the curfew. Having realized the street was taken over by hoodlums. People like you will be shot by your fellow citizen in the next round of protest.
You have again wasted your data to type rubbish.

Is Orile in Lekki? Did the people at Lekki protesting at the tollgate kill him? If you can't answer then shut your bastard ass up.

If someone is protesting during a curfew created directly to trample on their right to protest is that a license to shoot somebody?

The same confused government that shifted the curfew from 4 to 9 yet soldiers from Bonny camp were out by 7 killing people.

If I lived in Lekki but worked on the mainland yet got stuck in traffic does that give government the license to kill me on top of curfew.

The fact that you think so reveals your true colours, don't worry when poverty and a bullet from the same government comes for you I'll just stand by laughing. Never in your worthless life should you complain about this government again since you have given them the licence to do what they want.

Because this shit isn't about the fůcking policeman you bloody idiot, the people at Lekki didn't kill the policeman, the worst thing they did was to block a tollgate and wave the flag.

If you want to mourn the policeman fine but the people at Lekki didn't kill him, I don't know how your empty skull came to think that killing unarmed protesters is justified no matter how many impotent attempts you make in denying it.

Don't distract me with the BMC b.s. I am objectively analyzing the issue at hand unlike you that is swept by the bandwagon. You can't think for Your Own self
You are not objectively analysing anything, you have taken the ridiculous position of the resident nairaland zombies and swallowed it wholesale as the truth. Multiple videos of people with injuries, confirmations of deaths, multiple missing persons reports yet you're hear shouting massacre didn't happen. Even if just one person died on Tuesday does that make it right? Seriously what the hell is wrong with you?

I'm astounded at most of you.

This is the coupe de grace to the massacre narrative.

Buhari has not addressed the issue and instead challenged foreign governments to seek clarification. Meaning he is confident there is something that is not visible to the masses which he doesn't care to reveal for now.

Gov. Same Olu has said no one died and has been doing a lot of running around d and apology without acknowledging that anyone was shot at Lekki specifically.

Now he is calling for petitions.

The fact is that by the time no one comes forward with credible evidence, that is where the narrative ends. But Sanwo Olu is too smart to let Nigerians make him the enemy so he will simply allow you all to kill the narrative by yourselves.
Initially nairaland zombies said there was no shooting, there was no army present and nobody died.

Now that Sanwo-Olu has contradicted their lies they have moved to claiming it wasn't a massacre, holding on to that singular word in an attempt to downplay what happened.

Evidence left and right, videos and pictures yet zombies still want to continue their insanity.

But no country can invade nigeria.
A country of two hundred millions people.
Cannot be invaded.

Even america tried to invade iraq, a country of just thirty eight million people, at the end america and their friend britain disgracefully ran away.

Our solution is to elect better people as leaders. Yes we can.
Free and fair election is like revolution.
Just the United States Marine Corp alone is capable of taking over Nigeria in a matter of weeks.

What will even make it easier is that Nigerians themselves will help them fight against the government.
