Hello everyone....abeg! This afternoon, it feels like the child is sitting directly on my veejay

Im scared o! Hope the baby is not engaging or preparing to descend at just 20wks or is this normal

Well it depends on the man...my husband, God bless him never eats and leaves his plate on the table or in the sink. RIght from when we were dating, i think its all in the upbringing. He always washes his plate and if he meets any plate or pot in the sink (very rare too cuz i wash up as i cook) he washes it along with his.

After washing up, he even cleans the gas if its dirty


i clean up the house (light cleaning -mostly our room, bathroom and the kitchen) every day because its just both of us in the house (no kids yet) but every weekend he does better cleaning that includes sweeping, dusting and mopping of the sitting room and all the rooms.

Everybody that comes to our home ways says its like a hotel- always sparkling clean and its all because of his help

Some men are well brought up while some are just natural helpers and thankfully, i married one that is both. I can never take him for granted.

@lasun01..phd placement to work or to study? Either ways a work visa is different from a study visa and both are different from a visiting/ medical visa....dont get it twisted o! Cuz you can be refused for applying for the wrong visa class


I'll advice you to go to the usa non immigrant page and read the classes of visa, the requirement and apply for the one best suited for her case and stick to it...dont miss two or more classes of visa together.

They are very likely to send her back to nigeria to apply from here especially if she is on a visiting visa to abu dhabi..do your research well on this to avoid wasting visa fees

Yoruba people take this naming thing seriously sha....i have a friend that gave birth through cs and had some complications, the naming still held on the 7th or is it 8th day, i'm glad all i have to think about is baby dedication and thats my own timing and terms...phew!

The mortality rate for women giving birth has dropped sha...pls when you are preggers....make sure you are registered at a good hospital, where the gyneos work on shift and are available 24/7....it is well with you

nikkygal: You can do it yourself babe.....you don't need an agent It's pretty easy and straightfoward!

The list of documents required are on the nigerian emabssy website; so all you need to do is fill the form online, pay and send all the necessary docs to Atlanta. If you're pressed for time, pay for expedited service and also pay for 'express mail' using either UPS, Fedex etc and you'll get your son's visa circa 3-5days.

That's what I did and it was quite easy. The only extra is I kept calling the Atlanta office to follow up...lol! I called them severally to make sure they had seen my docs, issued my visa & dropped off for courier to close out all gaps...I can't shout abeg..

You can also scan the docs to them... The good thing is that they pick up their phones at the nigerian consulate so you call them to get clarity on any issues you might have.

I also couldn't be bothered with the wahala of travelling far (Dc, New york, Atl etc) to get a nigerian passport for the baby when I know I should be able to do that fairly easily in Nigeria.
