Justwinnie welcome to the forum. Metformin is a drug which is used to regulate the sugar levels in the body. Popularly used by patients with diabetics type 2. With regards to fertility it is taken by patients with pcos and yes it helps loose weight but pls dont self diagnose as it has adverse side effects esp if you dont need it your sugar levels may drop beyond normal

Clomid is used to induce ovulation in annovulatory women......should be prescribed by a doctor as well as monitoring is required.

@ebony 13 hmmm. This year has been the worst of my 27 years of existence... My case wasnt just ttc....i also started having problems at work, having dreams of being at secondary school, me and dh started quarellimg everyday
...now that i look back, maybe the feeling of 'failing' at concieving made me slack at work....but my HOD was just a bi.tch to the tee. And cuz off ttc problems and work problems my marriage started suffering..

Good thing is..everything happens for a reason.....this down time (no work) has helped me to refocus...iv stepped up my prayerlife and added fasting to it occasionally....my marriage is back on track...cant even remember the last time we quarelled.

Im trusting God that this second half of the year will be much greater that the first

Seconded@camrygmail....i noticed that when i loose weight my period cycle is more normal which was shocking as i am not overweight in Nyway.

So now trying to lose some more to the lower end of normal bmi and see what happens

My point is that your point applies to even people with normal bmis
