Funny how the APC hasnt told us what faibuhari achieved in his two year tenure as president with ABSOLUTE power, not even like GEJ that has to go through NASS for certain issues to fly. |

Pls tell us 6 major monumental projects that cut across the country that he executed. How many cases of corruption has he successfully dealth with. Truth be told, this is incompetency in highest order. 1. Revamping of aviation sector, building of cargo airports and international airports in every geopolitical zone.....but I doubt you have been to the airport before else this question wouldn't arise. 2. Establishment of 12 federal universities across all the geo-political zones, almajiri schools in the north, e.t.c. 3. Strides in agriculture via fertilizer subsidy, increased food production et al. 4. Road construction across Nigeria especially areas that were not navigable before. Abuja-lokoja, lagos -ibadan, benin-ore, owerri-onitsha, e.t.c 5. Surep and you win programs for youth empowerment. The youth is the future and he is showing it by his works. 6. Unbundling of phcn 7. Increased export trade, immense DFI(direct foreign investment), increased internet penetration. Now you can afford to stay on NL 24/7 compared to when you used to log on once a month 8. Employment generation and opportunities. 9. Transportation. At least for the first time in your life, you have the opportunity to board a train and feel relaxed. 10. Successful election engineering. For the first time, Nigerians actually have faith in the electoral system, otherwise you people wouldn't be hoping for your votes to count. Without wasting time on this, when was the last time you heard of anybody grabbing ballot boxes and running away as was common during obj days? 11. For the first time since peugeout days, car manufacturers are actually setting up shop in Nigeria and employing young Nigerians. Toyota, Nissan, Kia, Innoson, e.t.c. Do you need more? Because there are so many of them and verifiable too. No propaganda here. |

daniel2090: sounds like a charcoal pot calling the kettle black #copied# PDP supporters pls prove me wrong. By May 29 1999, we had 23 PDP governors, 6 AD, and 7 APP. 8 years after, this is their story: (A) PDP (23 governors): 1. James lbori - PDP Delta - in prison for looting 2. DSP - Alamieseigha - PDP Bayelsa - Ex- convict for looting 3. Lucky Igbinedion - PDP Edo - Ex-convict for looting 4. Peter Odili - PDP Rivers -In court for looting 5. Chimaroke Nnamani - PDP Enugu - In court for looting 6. Ayo Fayose - PDP Ekiti - In court for looting 7. Rasheed Ladoja - PDP Oyo - In court for looting 8. Alao Akala - PDP Oyo - In court for looting 9.Gbenga Daniel - PDP Ogun - In court for looting 10. Ikenna Ohakim - PDP Imo - In court for looting 11. Adamu Muazu - Bauchi (current PDP National Chairman) - In court for looting over N19 Billion from the state treasury 12. Joshua Dariye - PDP Plateau - In court for looting 13. Jolly Nyame - PDP Taraba - In court for looting the state treasury 14. Abdulahi Adamu - PDP Nassarawa - In court for lootingthe state treasury 15. Boni Haruna - PDP Adamawa - (newly appointed minister by Jonathan) - In court forlooting the treasury 16. Saminu Turaki - Ex-gov. PDP Jigawa - In court for looting the treasury 17. Orji Uzor Kalu - PDP Abia - In court for looting the treasury (B). AD / AC, 6 governors. None has ever been taken to court for treasury looting. NOTE:- Tinubu of Lagos wasdragged to Code of Conduct Tribunal for having foreign accounts while in power against government policy of zeroforeign account for public officials. He was found not guilty because he had the accounts before his election to the office of governor. Case dismissed. (C) APP - (ANPP) 7 governors: 1. Attahiru Baffarawa - APP Sokoto - In court for looting (he is now in a PDP member) 2. Prince Abubakar Audu - ANPP Kogi - In court for looting. You may add the two ex-national chairmen of PDP, Ahmadu Ali and Bamanga Tukukur whose sons are facing multi-billion naira oil subsidy fraud charges. It's sad some senseless Nigeria still believe we do not need a change from this same PDP while they claim they can't see the difference btw APC n PDP. The difference btw them is like daylight to darkness. If you chose not to see may you remain blinded for eternity. Others include: Femi fani kayode - A thief pardoned by GEJ Stella Udua - A thief pardoned by GEJ Abba moru Demije Bankole e.t.c. . And who was the president then? What did he do? If obj supervised this mother of all corruption you just listed and didn't do jack, why do you lots not blame him for it? |

praise010: I am disappointed with the comment of some of my Ibo brothers here.
Firstly, these compilation was done by an unknown person and certainly not Buhari or his Spokesperson.
Secondly, there are more than a 1000 public positions to be filled and the principle of federal character requires that each state must be represented appropriately. it is impossible to ignore a state in federal appointment talk less of a whole region.
Most importantly, the idea of Ibo presidency can only be realized in APC. Should Buhari win, his successor is more likely to be an Ibo Man to balance the equation. However, if GEJ continues, the north will still take over thereafter to the detriment of the Ibo's.
As at present, there is only few Ibo's _ notably Okorocha and Ngige _ in APC and they are doing well. Ngige started the transformation of Anambra while Okorocha is doing wonders in IMO. They are an example to us all.
Pls note that the appointment of Ibo's in a political position is not a privilege. it is a right. it doesn't matter the party. it must be given. the question and our concern is that it should be given to befitting individuals and not party faithfuls as in PDP. Wishful thinking. Hausa that will hand over to Yoruba, or why do you think Osinbajo was chosen over Amaechi? Amaechi, Rochas and Ngige plus Oby Ezekwesili are just there for support and not for any serious considerations. Face facts. Another Yar'Adua situation is in the offing. |

donnypool: the developed countries build homeless shelters. In most developed countries, government don't share money for free, you need to have a work history before you can receive un employment benefit. Although if you have a physical disability that can prevent you from working, then you get Government assisted fund.
Now look at the GDP of those developed countries, compare that to nigeria. Ok for example do you know how much the US government use in funding health care and welfare alone? let me tell you. Health care is 1,3501.1 in billions, welfare is 503.4 billion. Nigeria GDP is 521.8 billion. how will you fund all these things if you are a president?
