You leave me no choice than to conceptually deduce u must be a 'flying' student in comprehension during ur days... (flying as in capital 'F' with 9 as an added bonus) Sorry sir, but it is you that doesn't understand the import of the ruling. Since the judge says soldiers duties should be that of protecting territorial integrity, it would also make sense within that context to withdraw them from all other anti crime operations such as the OPMESA etc. |

The only reason i feel a little bit safe during election periods is that soldiers are around. Don't mind all these people here. As if when thugs start breaking their heads and forcing them to vote against their will, they will still not come and spew gibberish here. There is appeal court and supreme. So nothing has changed. |

oloworulz: it's d job of the president to defend this country . If the president cannot defend me them there is no way I can defend myself And when the president of Syria tried to defend his country, what did you lots say? "He is killing innocent civilians, black blah blah". If GEJ takes that route you all are shouting, then CNN and Aljazeera etal start twisting images for propaganda purposes, it is still the same Nigerians that know nothing about leadership and all its intricasies that will still take to the streets and rant bollocks. Ghadafi defended his country, where is he today? What did he get in return? Has Libya become any better? Has Iraq become any better than it was under Saddam? No rebellion against a govt succeeds without help from its political class. Let GEJ handle it his own way, time will tell. Buhari cannot stop it as you all think. The man has shown time and time again that he is too weak to assume full control of any responsibility. You think BH will stop immediately he gets power? Nah! These people have tasted their own form of power and you think they will just disarm and go back to cattle rearing? And their sponsors will just jettison their project? Or you don't think there is a reason Nigeria's relationship with US is strained at the moment? Or you think John Kerry just came to Nigeria to holiday? A lot is going on that even the media is not privy to, so let us all put PDP/APC aside for a moment and think about our future as NIGERIANS, without sentiments. If Libyans and Syrians did the same, they'd probably be in a different spot now, better off. |

All these kids on NL taking serious issues with a pinch of salt, always sentimental in their considerations even when the signs are omnious. Anyways, I think it is time someone imported handkerchiefs and Novartis for Buhari sympathizers because they shall be needing it come Failbuhari. We the true Nigerian patriots that believe in the preservation of our fatherland, will speak on Failbuhari 14th with our votes and make sure Buhari cries again in defeat and this time it will be his final one.
So you all can join him now and start practising crying styles because I heard he is really practising hard. And for those of you who are thinking of turning Nigeria into Libya, sorry for you. Go and ask the Libyans if they regret their actions. They let stoked up emotions ruin their future for generations. |

After Jonathan power is definitely going back to the North.
And it will be among Sule Lamido, Kwakwanso, Tambuwal and of course the perennial decampee Atiku. I would prefer Sambo, a fine gentleman. That man is loyal to the core and loyalty is a very important stabilizing factor. He has been under apprenticeship for a while and I think he will make a better option than any of the guys you mentioned who are just after their own interests. After GEJ 2019, Nigeria will still need to enjoy more peace and tranquility without unnecessary heating up of the polity. I would pick Namadi Sambo over all these guys. |

playboy19: My brother, A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for. It was meant to sail.
Music is a global language and entertainment transcends tribe, gender, religion and age. Music is a global thing. Moreover, if Awilo could make it in Nigeria, that should tell you there is always a market for any type of music anywhere, considering you do your homework properly.
I, as a businessman will never in my life fault anyone taking big risk at growth and expansion as long as it is a well calculated risk and i dare say that the risk D'Banj took was a very very beautiful one from a business perspective and i really respect him for that. Prejudice aside, the only reason why the whole deal kinda crumbled was because they let Mo'Hit go. It was a big big mistake. This grave mistake worth to be taught in our schools.
If we all dissect the situation from a business perspective, we'd all see that they would have made tons and tons of money. D'Banj would have made money, so was The Don, but the one that would have made the biggest money was Mo'Hit the company and the brand. The brand was already enjoying global popularity as at the time the Good Music deal rumor broke out and imagine the kind of exposure 'Oliva Twist' would have given the Mo'Hit brand.
Fast forward to 2014-2015, billions of dollars are rolling into the country through FDI and foreign investors in the music industry will be looking at a local partner to roll with, and who else would it have been if not with the biggest music house in Africa. Mo'Hit. Record companies would have been falling over themselves in other to get the Mo'Hit business. This would have been their time to make massive money but damn, they threw millions of dollars out the window. Now, Mavin is barely recognized outside the country and DB Records is almost none existence, so there's little to no way investors would seek them out. Where do you think Dangote is getting all the money he is investing from? How do you think all these Investment companies are seeking him out? Simply cos he is the biggest on the continent. This is what would have happened to the Mo'Hit on the continent. Continental domination through their global popularity and exposure, but hey, they all didnt see it that way. They allowed emotions to becloud their senses. They could have at least sold the company, damn it. Nobody builds such magnitude of a company, the biggest on the continent, wake up one day and decide to shred it up. The brand was very admired, cherished and popular on the continent.
Finally my brother, no matter how expensive a venture is, as long as the ROI is higher than the overhead, then you have a good business at hand. They are both to be blamed though. What they did was purely childish and out-rightly stupi!d. Very good analysis. Mo'hits was already so much on the map and it is a shame they had to end that era. Very big shame. I dont see Mavin nor DB records being anywhere near as big as Mo'hits was. |

Dbanj is ma niqqa anytime. I like the dude's personality. He might have made a few mistakes in his career, but hey! We are all humans and prone to mistakes. In your business life you must make quite a few bad decisions but that is what propels you to find other ways to move higher. I know the niqqa would bounce back someday, somehow. It may not even be music, it could be anything. All those trying to take sides, I pity una. It is obvious y'all have never done business before. I like Don Jazzy too, but the fact that he might be having it rosy now doesnt mean his former protege wont.
In my opinion, Dbanj cannot be as broke as people make him out to be. Niqqa is still balling hard and I like him for that. If truly that oga titus song was all about Dbanj, then I must say that was very very very...low coming from Don jazzy. Then I'd be pretty disappointed in Jazzy. Surely if you cheat you shouldnt expect to come back home everyday to a happy home with eba and ogbono on the table for you.
Now tell us what is it that you men do that make these women turn into " tongue lashing beasts"? Guys misbehave sometimes but sometimes women can overreact. I have a friend who had issues with his gf back then and she was just thrashing him without hindrance while he just ignored her and was playing video game. The girl got infuriated and just walked up to him, looked at him up and down a few times and just blurted out "See how you look like Bingo", hissed a very long hiss and walked away. The game console just fell of his hands, I laughed so hard and that kinda defused the tension because both of them joined me in laughter later. The guy probably would have done or said something he would later regret. |

dinachi: Bad mouthing their husbands appears to be the stock in trade of many women nowadays. Till date most women do not really see verbal abuse of their spouses as a very serious and evil habit they need to stop. They even make excuses for the silly behaviour. Some says, it is in the character of women to abuse...you hear comments like..."she's a woman now, you know say we women get mouth" The truth is most women resort to tongue lashing their spouses when they are angry and really want to get hurtful and mean.
Until women begin to see their verbal abuse as bad or even worse than physical abuse, the won't relent.
Many are quick to refer to men who loose their tempers and resort to physical packaging of the women when the verbal abuse gets too much as childish, immature and beastly.
Yet, they pull back from referring to women who verbally abuse their husbands using similar words.
Well, it is time to let them know that women who verbally abuse their husbands are equally childish, immature and beastly.
Therefore, women should avoid getting married if they cannot control their mouths! Cherio people. @op Badt guy, LOL @ physical packaging. |

Saying that a man rose to become a GENERAL in the Nigerian Army and yet is not qualified to lead actually ridicules the Nigerian Army itself.
It is like a man saying to his wife of 40 years and mother of his 6 children that she is not qualified to be called his wife because he never really voiced the word 'I WILL' when they knelt in church.
Isn't that silly?[/size] Not because of what he didn't say, but because of what he didn't do. If the man did not pay dowry, Oyo lo wa. Even of he lives with the woman for hundred years, she is still not his wife and the children not his legally. So if buhari did not tender any certificate, then he began on a faulty foundation. |

Buhari is just a beneficiary of the quota system that's put Nigeria where it is today. Undeserving folks getting favors because they have to be pampered and carried along even when they make no effort to qualify for it. Talk about a faulty foundation. I once read a book by one popular ex military man, I can't remember his name again, I think I'll look for the book later. He said during their days in the early sixties in the army, at the military training in sandhurst, UK, that Hausa was kinda like the lingua franca.
