I think the dark/dull colour is of Arab culture. As long as you cover everywhere except ur face, hands and feet. the color choice is yours, and just make sure it's not seethru/transparent or tight in a way that your figure will be revealed.

What is the difference between Salat Subuhi and Salat Fajr, if there is any. Also, a friend of mine, who is a converter asked why do muslim women pray behind their men? Why not side by side or may be, women in the front , men at the back. Does this have anything to do with culture or it's just islamic.

I understand ur feelings about not being able to trust people nowadays, unfortunately, this includes the person you love and call 'your better half'. However, you can still have a joint account, or what I call a family account. In this account, each one of you will be saving an amount that is already agreed upon by both of you and have 2 signatories, that way, no money can go out without both of your signatures on the check. If the unexpected situation comes up, it's easy to split the money and each person get his/her half.

As an after thought, every tribe, race, culture have their habits, perculiarities and life styles in general. However, the intensity and frequency varies. The examples you cited are way out of line. An w/ondo man will not eat dog meat 20 times a day as a average brit will do. So stop your silliness.

It's very disturbing, and shameful how ignorant and backward some of us in the third world countries are. Fisrtly, it's about time that we get this thru our thick skulls that the sex of a baby is determined 100 percent, by the males, females only contribute to the features of the babies.

Secondly, what difference does it make, if the child is male or female? There are useless boys/men as there are useless girls/women. It's more important to raise ur children to be good fellows and pray that they turn out to be the good citizens that u will be proud of. Make more efforts in setting their feet on the right path (if yours are on that right path), which I doubt, since all u are concern about is flexing ur muscle by beating ur wives.

Thirdly, any man that dims it fit to beat his wife should be mercilessly tortured by the authorities and put in jail. Enough of this crab. What should be condemned is being condoned. When are we gonna wake up and smell the coffee. It's not only barbaric, it's a cowardice act. U want to flex u muscle? do so in something that will benefit both ur household, family, community and most especially ur dear motherland. Or pick on someone your size who will beat the daylight out of u. Let's put a stop to this craziness.

I've not been to any of the aforementioned mosques.Tthose who go there should try to clarify if what they see is gold or golden colour.

I think it's makrooh (disliked/discouraged) to decorate a mosque with real gold. i'm not so sure though. I'll try and find the evidence for/against that. i shall get back, insha Allah.

I don't think it's makrooh. Prophet Mohammed's mosque in Medinah is decorated with real gold and marbles.
