Hello. In the part of the visa form asking where the applicant would be staying in the Uk, if the applicant won’t be staying in University accommodation, what is expected to be stated there. Considering no other accommodation has been booked yet.

As long as you haven’t done biometrics, you’ll get a refund. You can start another application

It is best not to apply to be honest because your application will be based on your circumstances now. Report your landing in Canada first then after a while when you have a job you can apply. This is just my opinion

I recently secure my Canada PR visa for me and 2 dependent (they have no traveling history). I have been to UK 5 times btw 2012 and 2019 on visit and study visa, USA 2 times on visit btw 2017 and 2019.

Our plan now is to stop-over in UK for 3/4 days on our route to Canada this year.
My issues is that; We (me and my spouse) don't have salary account to support our application as I lost my job 2 years ago. The company I am presently working for paid in cash even the salary is not as strong for presentation to UK embassy. The only option i have for financial circumstances is the POF fixed deposit (for canada PR application and it is X 4 of visa requirement for family of 3). The POF was our savings before the contract termination with the previous employer.

What is the chance of securing 6 months visit visa to UK with Canada settlement visa on our passport?

Her dad’s bank statement is required. He is the one visiting the UK not them.

Can someone please tell me if it's OKAY to book a hotel for my visa application even though my sister and her family live in the UK?
I plan to travel with my two kids and my mum.
My sister is in Birmingham with her family. It's taking time to get the required documents from her so I think I would rather book a hotel.
Can I book a hotel in London, or in Birmingham? I'm okay with either cities.
Do I have to write a letter explaining why I won't stay at her place?

First timers are granted. It all depends on the documents you present. Even people with travel history get refused.

But this was in the 70’s. They usually request for the past 10 years. I don’t think this applies

The US embassy is. He lived in the UK in the 1970s for around 3 years for university. Once you have lived in another country for over 6 months, you must provide a police report.

You can pay for your hotel on arrival. Just have the booking confirmation with you.

Had a similar issue with them. If you want to make a change or get a refund it’s usually a very big issue with them. I don’t recommend them.

When I sent a complaint about my application last year March, I got a message two months after saying it wasn’t possible to looking into it within the 20days time frame. After that I got nothing else from them.

I cancelled my hotel booking before decision got made on my application and I didn’t rebook. I don’t think it should be an issue.

Please my husband was refused of dependant visa on the basis that he was once refused visa in 2015. And no reason of refusal was sent to him then, the reason for refusal was not attached then and he did request to no. Now he applied for dependant visa with my kids he is refused again, stating that he falsified documents in 2015 and he is not aware of any falsified document used by an agent he used then. Please what can we do, my kids visas are not out yet , please any advice will be greatly appreciated �

thank you, so I finally got the refusal letter, it had to do with my statement and what they saying is not correct, they are saying there are unexplained deposits which isn’t correct, only salary comes in.. also monthly expenditure I put is 60k because it’s btw 50-70k each month, they said it doesn’t correlate as well.. and I stated that I’d be spending 300k but they seemed to also find fault with that too.. now they ended it with saying I have no rights to appeal it.
