Austine2020: Alright thanks Donugapi, she will do as u said. But the visa will expire next year in May,& she has used it twice already. We are just looking for a better solution & best way to overcome the whole situation,so that it doesnt affect her US visa renewal when the time is due next year in May. There is no need to lie.. besides if she gets a new passport, she's no longer eligible for dropbox cos the requirement is that your previous visa must be seen. |

firsttymum: Bs 2
Was anticipating serious pain cos of the oxytocin. But The pain was bearable.. Although they were increasing the dose slowly. By 9 or 10 am or so I was still 5cm my water was broken. Pain was still bearable... Then it increased by 12 noon. (Contractions good but was not dilating well enough) Was given painkillers cos they wanted me to rest and b ready for the real deal I finally increased to 7 cm this time. All these while they kept asking if I wanted epidural. But I kept saying no.. My DH was just looking cos he wanted me to take it. Anyway I slept off. Even the vag examination I didn't feel it... The sleep was real. By the time I woke up Hmmmm the pain was serious. But I still refused the epidural suggestions. By now contractions were 5mins apart and stronger. The pain became so bad I requested for epidural. But was told I had to b rushed fluid first nd bla bla. So I asked them to stop the oxytocin pending when the anesthesiologist will come. She came and before I knew what was happening she was done. There after no more pain. It was a jolly good ride. Lol. God is indeed faithful. I can relate with the epidural story, took it at 3cm and it was indeed a jolly ride. Kept pinging and listening to music until i was told that I'm 10cm and ready to push. I will take over and over again....lol |

Amother4life: You are meant to sign the passport. The CBP officer may have been distracted or else he should have made you sign the passport on the spot.
The child minor passport is signed by the applicant if they are old enough to write their own name. If the child (minor) is too young, the parent or legal guardian must print the child’s name and sign his or her (the parent or guardian’s) own name in the space provided for the signature. The parent or legal guardian must also write their relationship to the child in parenthesis next to the signature. O Rily! Learning new things... thanks for sharing |

shawlar: Thanks a lot favored gal... That $5,940 spurred me into action, cos my baby is just about a month old (but wait first, wetin dem do wey reach dat kin amount..??) shoo...!! Anywayz, i called them again and after searching their systems ova & ova, they didn't find any record/bills for my wife. The woman then asked if my wife took an epidural. I said No, that it was a normal delivery. She then said if an epidural wasn't administered there wouldn't be any bill from them. I told her that my wife took medication for the pain but she said that wasn't 4rm them. So i'm guessing i'm free there...... I hope they are no setting me up sha.. so I no go fit renew my visa again Shawler, from your post, I can deduce that she didn't use epidural. Ask her if any 'injection' was given to her in her spine. If no, then she didn't use it. If it was tru an IV, then it's pain medication and part of your package from the hospital. No extra charge for that. |

queenestty: Pls oo. I get to confirm somethg ooo. Pls my people on this journey that are back home.
In the US passport for baby, theirs a page for the bearer signature, since baby cannot sign, pls how is this done properly. Is it just the parent signature unbehalf of the baby or signature and relationship i.e signature (mother). I didn't sign anything on it and nobody asked. I don't think it is needed at this time |

anizi: I have paid both hospital and babys bill,, its just bill for test done, ie if they did any. I didnt get any bill to that regards. They definitely dis some tests, if you go through your discharge notes given to you and your baby from the hospital, you will find it. You can only get your bill from them when you call. Tell them the date you gave birth, name of hospital and they will ask you to confirm your last name and date of birth. Keep your card handy for the payment. |
