Politics / Re: Buhari: Amaechi Created Problem For Me In South-East by Felixv: 11:07pm On Jan 24, 2019
Racoon:

Can Buhari ever be a stateman for once? Why is this man also bigoted, parochial & inconsiderate? So the president cant agree with his minister & persuade the FEC to oblige him such a request or even use executive fiat.

Meanwhile, Buhari didn't seek FEC approval before asking to World Bank to concentrate their projects in the north, siting the Transport University in Daura or when Amaechi incorporated a railway that passes via his home town as a surprise package in his list of ministerial projects last year? Hypocrites!

Meanwhile, it's clear & still being well impressed to the SE region that Buhari does not have the region @ heart.Well Amaechi don't make any promise on his behalf because even your region famed "Ogini Cleanup" like your "PH monorail" project among other many APC promises are all scam.

He said: “Amaechi has made you people a promise and I don’t know how to fulfil it. But I can see how I will fulfil it by getting the Federal Executive Council members to approve it.”

Politics / Re: APC Reversed GDP Growth From 6 To 2% – Atiku by Felixv: 12:44pm On Jan 23, 2019
PassingShot:
PDP must think we all suffer from collective amnesis!

Paper growth and real growth aren't the same but Atikulooted brains won't understand.

Evidence that GEJ/PDP looted Nigeria to hopelessness abounds everywhere.

By October 2014, FG was already borrowing to pay salaries. And by the time PMB came on board, more than 24 states were owing between 6 and 11 months salaries of theri workers.

Ngozi Iweala said we were dying. Sanusi Lamido shouted same. Bismarck Rewane and Soludo warned about PDP looting and recklessness.

The useless party met more than $60bn in reserves, earned more than four times of it , and still managed to loot the reserve and what they earned.

NEVER AGAIN shall we experience PDP in our national political life. NEVER AGAIN!

Atiku must really think people are stupid. Well maybe his supporters are.

WE WARNED those supporting Buhari that it was just a matter of time before the reality facing ordinary Nigerians caught up with them
You cannot fight a huge war with blunt weaponry and expired war arsenal. Buhari has so much blood, callousness, deception and incompetence on his hands going into this very important election where Nigerians decide whether the country remains in poverty and disaster or take an aim at rebounding towards prosperity.
In just 4 years, Nigeria has faced some of its greatest economic challenges since 1983 all because of one tyrant in Aso Rock. Watch how the economy will rebound again when Atiku becomes president, then you'll tell me if that tyrant in Aso Rock wasn't the one who caused the recession, economic downturn, high job losses, high inflation and poverty on Nigerians. Compare 1983 and 2015, you'll realize a chameleon will always be a chameleon.
God Bless Nigeria

Maybe you were sleeping during the Jonathan era or as usual playing the ostrich

No government prior to this one has completed the number of projects we are witnessing now

Why did our foreign reserves drop from $44bn to $28bn during the last pdp government- now we have the largest foreign reserves in Africa

We are a poor third world country with dilapidated infrastructure- until that is fixed we would never grow economically - without stable power, good roads there would be no industries capable of absorbing the millions of people looking for work

This is the only government addressing that problem heads on.

When Shettima was crying in Abuja, it wasn't filth, abi? No wahala, we'll see what you guys will enjoy between now and 2023 after voting Buhari back to power. We will all be here to appraise the situation of Nigeria especially the North.

The challenge from BH is daunting - this is not a local issue, as ISIS is involved ,and buhari has shown tremendous effort in this fight.

So there the people of Borno have the utmost confidence in the man.

Look at what is happening in Libya, Syria and Iraq the you would appreciate the efforts of this administration.

What exactly has Buhari done for Borno?
Let nobody come and tell me he fought BH because just recently, Shettima went to Abuja crying that the securty situation in Borno has worsened.
So what has Buhari done for them that they are promising him 2.3m votes, especially when Buhari's main contender is from their geopolitical zone?
NE has never produced the president of Nigeria. Their only attempt at having the Head of State is the fact that they produced Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa. Isn't it time for them to also demand leadership in Nigeria? Must all Nigerian presidents and vice presidents of Northern extraction come from North West?

Be brave get on a plane and head to the campaign ground now and spill your filth.

my one cent.

Soon my friends and I would be able to take a day trip to Ibadan to eat some real amala. Using the Lagos Ibadan railway — 16yrs of your pdp couldn’t think of that.

Trader moni is not only idiotic, it is actually one of the biggest ways to waste and loot public funds. In fact, Trader moni is the perfect vehicle to embezzle public funds without any form of documentation or trace.
Very soon Nigerians will hear that N500 billion was used by this regime for the sheme.

have you ever asked a senator how much he earns a month
have you ever ask OBJ how much the federal government allocates to him every month -how many houses, cars, security details he is entitled to everymonth

In the UK the unemployed get some allowance (pretty basic pay),the aged get some money.

So,it really is sad that someone (OBJ) who couldn't help his own people ,has the guts to criticize this noble gesture.

if OBJ thinks that trademoni is a waste of money then why doesn't he return the money he is collecting from us every month.

OEPHIUS:
We came here for a Presidential debate, not a candidacy debate, and I, Atiku Abubakar can not challenge or question an administration where the man at the helm of the affairs of the nation is not present to defend himself or his policies. After all you cannot shave a man's head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself. As a leader and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, let me first apologise to all Nigerians, my fellow candidates and the moderator for the the APC Presidential Candidates absence in this debate. His non-appearance is a slight on ALL of us and our democracy.

Secondly, with all due respect to my fellow candidates, Fela Durotoye, Oby Ezekwesili, Kingsley Moghalu and to the moderator Mark Sugar and with apologies to all Nigerians here and at home expecting an interesting debate, I regret that I will not be able to go on with this debate due to President Buhari's absence.

I however challenge President Buhari to choose a date and time for a debate where he will be present and I will be there, hopefully with the other candidates as well.

Thank you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The crowd of people you see in campaign venue do not point to widespread acceptability of the candidates. 50% came to see those they've only been seeing on TV face to face. 30% were promised money and the rest 20 don't know what's happening. gringrin FYI, I wasn't on Nairaland 4 years ago. FYI, until recently, I was a staunch supporter of Buhari. But his too many gaffes and I-don't-care attitude, hypocrisy and pretense, northernization, etc, have made many of his supporters to désert him.

for initiating and almost completing the lagos ibadan railway project he has SW votes (ignoring the fact that osinbajo is king in the making)
