Your line of thought reminds of the Jerusalem to Jericho interpretation Martin Luther King told about the Story of the Good Samaritan in the bible

Dr King told how the priest and levites abandoned the wounded man on the road because he thinks they were afraid due to the danger of the Jerusalem to Jericho road. Other preachers used to speculate that the Priest and Levites were rushing to meetings to solve the root cause of the danger on the Jericho road.

But I think Saraki’s role in this journey is that of the Good Samaritan who rather than worry about what could happen to himself chose to worry more about what will happen to the wounded man.

Saraki could have got his orderlies to clear the traffic for safe passage and he will continue his journey. But instead he was more concerned about everyone else stuck in that traffic.

So I think Saraki rather than ask what will happen to him if he does to stop to clear the situation rather asked what will happen to others stuck in traffic if he did not stop to help. Like o said his security agents could have forced a safe passage for him!

Now to the China loan, what I like mostly is that the Chinese normally insist on carrying out the projects themselves - the Lagos Ibadan railway line is a typical example.

That eliminates the NASS from messing things up as they have done with the Lagos Ibadan express road.

Whether we like it or not, our infrastructure must be world standard before we can even think of creating employment. And at the moment we do not have that.

Do we really think someone like Saraki would do that - just visit Kwara State. Ask what he did as SP - if he was serious about the youth he would not increase the NASS budget - he would actually reduce it (buhari took a pay cut when he became president).

Where in the world do you know of an entity that sells something, and never makes a return. We can argue that JAMB should not be making a profit but that argument would only make sense after we know exactly what JAMB is making.

Now that we know how much JAMB is making we can now push for a reduction in the price of the forms being sold.

Nigeria's foreign reserves stand at about $46bn ..up from what mr jonathan left it at about $29bn --in spite of low oil prices we have managed to continuously increase our foreign reserve

now how much do we owe china --less than $9bn.

there is no other country willing to help nigeria build her infrastructure except china ,and they are also providing the money for that. the IMF along with the opposition politicians are just playing politics.

during the pdp years , Nigeria was selling oil at over 100 dollars a barrel yet there is absolutely nothing to show for it..even the foreign reserves were depleted.

this administration is very prudent at managing the nations resources that even JAMB is returning money to the nations coffers.
