No, going to America is not a requirement to being a Nigerian president. But won’t it be ironic that a man who bought houses in the USA finds it hard to visit that same country.

A man who has a wife based in America finds it hard to visit that country. Let’s not forget that he has children there.

He even named his university after America.

People will hardly buy the fish you rear in your own ponds when imported ice fish sells for as low as 200 naira. Majority of Nigerians are either poor or living average lives, so they'll always choose quantity over quality. Besides, some of these imported fishes like Mackerel and salmon are highly nutritious, and because we don't have them in our waters, importation becomes the only way to get them.
So, even though we know that importation is bad for our local fish production, we can't stop it completely because some important varieties of fishes can't just be produced in Nigeria.

Mackerel and salmon can be farmed but that depends on the support available.

many guys started fish farming and ended up bankrupt --the ports are wide open for those who want to import substandard fish from asia and the rest of the world..

When you say long stay - what about those on retirement visas?, because as a fact I know they do the 3 month visa run,the trip to Cambodia is quite popular and there are agencies who actually arrange the trip for them

As for students there is a requirement to validate their visas every 3 months. It is possible for them to do this within the country.

Both single-entry and multiple-entry visas need to be updated, or prolonged, every 90 days as long as you stay in the country. The actual applying for the new 90-day period must be done at least a week before your 90 days are up, so don’t leave it at the last minute.


The extension can be applied for either in the immigration bureau or, if you have a multiple-entry visa, by visiting a neighboring country (when you return to Thailand you will get an admission for a new 90-day period in Thailand). If you fail the get another 90-day extension to your visa on time, you have to pay a 5000 THB

The marriage visa might a good option to stay there if you can mee the requirements.

The Thai law is pretty straight forward - foreigners are required to renew their stay every couple of months - even if you are married to a Thai person.

This is called visa run - so every 3 months you will need to leave the country. Obviously our folks are not doing that. So they would be easily deported after rounded up.

I guess the next group would be the African prostitutes
