placeofallure: Hmmmn! I'm learning. Many times we do some things innocently without putting any mind to it, that it's affecting men in a weird way. Can't you just see us as your sister and not have wicked erections?
I like to wear mini skirts way back. To me it's just smart and easy. Much later, several years, a male friend (we grew up together) confessed to me that then, my straight hot legs used to drive him crazy, he even remembered the colour of the skirts. Damn!
More recently, a colleague mistook my carefree playful attitude with him for something else. We gist, play, deep talks, share ideas, talk family, eat together a few occasions etc Then there was a day I needed to set my collar straight after putting on my jacket. There was nobody around except him. Everybody had gone home. He's hardworking and I am too. That's the main thing that even brought us together. Since no one was there, I asked him to do my collar. He did it and the next thing, he turned me around and planted a hot kiss. I just stood there surprised. I never saw our friendship in that light. Maybe I've been causing him to have erections. After the kiss, he grew more balls and later asked me out properly. I told him we can't be together. One, I have my bf. Then he's an expatriate. He'd certainly go back to his country one day. I love my family here, so. You can't do all that with opposite gender Mon-Fri and expect him not to develop feelings for you |

AdeniyiAr9: Good morning house, I currently work with one of the telecoms companies in Nigeria on a contract job; the pay is 60k (720k per annum). However, aside my salary, I do one or two things on the job that gives me like 10 k every week.
Approximately I earn about 100 k every month. I started this job started early this year. While on this job, I got connected for a new job with an indigenous oil company on a full time basis and was surprised the pay is 1.2m per annum, though I truthfully expected more. For this new job am to leave my comfort zone in south western Nigeria for the south south.
I currently run my masters degree, meaning I will have to defer my admission. I'm also very much always needed in Church
Note my current job is without leave and it's contract based. But the new one is full time and am entitled to 5 weeks leave yearly.
Please serious advice needed. No bashing of any sort If you die, the church will continue. You can ask TB Joshua. Job security is key in achieving your goals in life. About your masters, you can start part time master programs |

Decolink: Please I will try to be brief. I started dating her in 2017,we dated for 3yrs and I traveled outside the country in 2020. We didn't have any problems and I was serious about getting married to her. When I was leaving she promised not to have another boyfriend and to wait for me(she is 24). I promised not to disappoint her. It was going well for sometime until after one year,we had a quarel and separated.
About 3 months ago,we got back together, and she said she was still intact and waiting for me. We started communicating regularly, but I noticed that each time were talking, she would be receiving calls frequently, after sometime,I confronted her with it,she lied that he was her customer. But I called the guy and found out he is a guy that was chiking her before. She later admitted that she dated the guy when we had quarels. She also admitted to going to night clubs that period.
I still love her,but I'm pained because she cheated, lied about it and was reluctant about coming out of that relationship. I'm also thinking of continuing the relationship because I have been outside for 2year now,it happened when we quarelled and she has agreed to stop it. Nairalanders,do you think I should quit the relationship or go ahead with marriage plans. You want to wife an unapologetic cheat. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage |
Romance › Re: Please Help!!! This Is What My Girlfriend Said To Me!. by femi4: 11:10am On Oct 29, 2021 |
Pjoko: To keep it short and simple!
I promise to get my girlfriend an iPhone 11 pro max because her phone was bad. Few weeks later I got myself an iPhone 11. She saw the phone and was like oh cool, then I told her I would buy her own any moment but I keep delaying it and teasing her just because I'm still thinking if this my girlfriend who had cheated on me truly worth this phone?!
This girl I'm talking about had cheated on me, I saw her WhatsApp chat telling a guy I love you, and all that. I confronted her and she said she was sorry, that a friend of her gave her number to the guy without telling her and she kept talking and met the guy once at the mall. I told her I called the guy and he told me he knew the girl had a guy because of her body movement when she visits him. But my girl swear with her mother in the grave that he had never visited this guy at his house, that they only met once at the mall and after then he keeps sending her money while at school.
The truth is that I forgive her because she swear with her mother in the grave. That one really touched me that is why I believe her that she never visited the guy in his house which means they never had sex.
But I said to myself, this relationship will never lead to marriage for her to hangout with a guy while still dating me. I honestly lost the trust I had for this girl. Now I'm planning to breakup with her in a calm and coded way because I don't longer trust her. But because she currently has no phone, I said I will buy her the iPhone and then use distance issue to breakup gradually with her as I'm planning to go on a month trip soon.
But surprisingly, my girl was with me yesterday and I was teasing her that, since she has been using my iPhone 11 and even went home with it for a week, there was no need buying her the iPhone 11 pro max. And she replied:
No, it's the iPhone 11 pro max I want, but you keep delaying this, do you feel pained to buy the phone for me??
This her response didn't go down well with me, I keep wondering why she said if I feel pained to buy her the phone? I told her I'm not happy with such question, that it means if I buy her the phone she won't appreciate it because she would feel like I bought out of pain and she said no that she was sorry, I shouldn't take it that way.
She is 20yrs old.
Please advise me, I love her and care for her that is why I just decided I will get her the phone and break up with her, so it doesn't hurt her too much. But due to this I decided never to get her the phone again by giving her excuses until I travel. You don't know what love is. Both of you are childish |

zeenaman: Contrary to the impression held by many, women actually make marriage proposals. Because people see men going down on their knees popping the typical "will you marry me" question, they feel men are the ones in charge of fixing a date. But this is not true. I arrived at this after having discussions from a few married friends of mine, and my own experience too as a married person. Left for me, I didn't see myself married in three years time from the year I married considering my financial situation. There were many goals I hoped to achieve before getting married, but my fiancée changed my mindset. She knew my financial capacity, she made the analysis and convinced me that we can do it. Alhamdulillah, that's the best decision I have ever made in my life. Three of my friends had similar experience, if not for their wives they won't have been married by now.
While men see problems, woman seem to see solution. For people that may think she was desperate, I married her at 22, extremely beautiful and untouched by any man. Back to the question, if not for your wife, will you have been married by now? Note : I'm only referring to good women that are focused and marriage oriented. Same as men. Mod, please help move to front page That she was a virgin doesn't mean she was untouched by any man. I ve dated virgins that will allow you to do all the dos except penetration |

Toks2008: To think that some Pastors preach that until you do a white wedding also known as "Church wedding".. You are not considered married...
I call this foolishness that has no basis in our tradition as Africans or even in the Scriptures.
I will advise any man to focus on the traditional wedding and go ahead to register the wedding if they want but if the lady insists on having a white wedding, let her take care of the entire financial demands except you have enough money to throw away.
May we be emancipated from mental slavery We ALL waste money, don't teach others how to waste money cos they didn't choose your ways of wasting money. We ALL waste money on things like: 1. Data 2. Alcohol 3. DStv subscription 4. Parties 5. Food 6. Clothes/Shoes/Wristwatches/Perfume 7. Gadgets etc |

There is this issue that is bothering my mind, I have promise to be faithful to my wife and always let her know whatever comes in for me. But the problem is that I always tell her how money is spent, and whenever I present list for whatever we buy and all other expenses, but each time she sees anything like I sent 10k to my mother, she always pick up fight with me, and I have not been biased, I send money to her mother too.
I don't know why she is acting like this, and It doesn't make me a happy man at home. Please I need your advice on what I can do, I don't want to hide anything from my wife. You have to be diplomatic when dealing with a woman. Don't tell her what will make her angry. If she later found out, tell her that you forget to tell her. That's how to handle women. LiegeMan: Anger And Vengeance Is Taking The Best Part Of Me
hello nairalanders,
Sorry to disturb your peace but this has been going on in my mind for long and I really need suggestions on how to overcome it. I gave in to ire/anger and it's gradually taking the best part of me since I made a little discovery about my wife's past and how she lived her life while in the campus. I will try and make it as snappy as possible in order not to make you spend much of your time on my case.
Now, it goes this way, my wife came from a middle class family and she attended one of the best and prestigious higher institutions in the country, they're not too rich and they're not poor, infact, their family name can't be in the same sentence with poverty. She had everything she needed and lived her life to the fullest while in the campus, she flirted with and dated the best guys in the campus, she visited many night clubs and other exuberant and flamboyant life style that pertains to the campus.
Now on my own part, I attended one of the Colleges of Education that littered our country, I did everything all by myself, I sponsored myself throughout my stay in the college, I did all manner of odd jobs to survive, sometimes, I would miss lectures due to lack of cash, no one to assist, all these limitations made me not to pay attention towards the opposite sex as I was busy struggling to survive and hoping unto God for a miracle.
Right now, all I am feeling is anger, ire, all I want now is vengeance knowing fully well that while I was suffering and struggling to survive, fasting without praying, carrying bricks and block from one floor to the other, jumping from one market to the other hawking my wares, that my wife was busy somewhere enjoying and partying away her future, right now, I want to have my revenge, I want to live those life that I wasn't opportune to live, I want to flirt and have fun with many ladies both young and old, I want to visit as many night clubs as possible now that money is flowing in, I careless about the consequences and how she may feel, these are exactly what I'm feeling now.
this can't keep troubling me that's why I brought it here for suggestions and elderly advice. Mr toddler....are you normal? |
