I have an acquaintance, tall ,dark and works in Ogba Ikeja as a sales rep for Tecno phones. I haven't asked her out or anything, she should be around 30 years.
I asked why she hadn't been to work one morning, she said no transport. She indirectly hinted she hadn't eaten too. That the person she called to send her some money had not responded.


I pitied her and asked her to come wait for me at the bus stop by 9 am at Zenith bank ATM at 7 and 8 Ajao Estate Lagos mainland, because I was going out as well.


We met there and gisted a bit and she was complaining about low salary from workplace .I gave her 3k, it was folded.

I intentionally did this to test her sincerity and sense of responsibility (because same morning I bought 43 inches TV for over 200k at Founi LG show room Mushin Lagos.

She thanked me and bade goodbye.

She hasn't chatted me since then.

I called her twice after like 4 days, she didn't pick. I haven't bothered chatting or calling since then.


Maybe she was expecting to get 50k from me but only counted the folded notes and saw 3k. Lol.

But you won't help your fellow guy. Ordinary thank you sms, you no see after 3days. If na guy you give that money, he ll send text messages and call you to appreciate

I work with one of the fairly big school in Ogun state. The proprietor died some few years ago and his son took over the leadership of the school. He started well and brought new ideas to run the school.
However, one of the teachers in the school, a woman got too close to the man and took control of his life. She is called his PA and is now the one controlling anything he does. If she wants any staff to be punished, na so he go be. People like me are thinking this cannot be just ordinary has even my boss wife can't complain.
You will say I should leave the school and look for another place if am not comfortable with the system, but I am just pitying my boss and the future of the school. I learnt the dead proprietor was a very good man who has done many wonderful things in the life of many people.

It has even gotten to the extend that this woman(a married woman o) has been given a flat on the school compound, near the school hostel. Even all the students know that this woman is the oga for the school.

This thing is beyond me. I want to assist my boss, but I don't know how. Please what can I do?

As much as I dislike BBN 9ja,I think it's a terrible lie for anyone to say it's boring.
My trips to some friends house this last 3 months made me realize a lot of people are watching this show, although not so many are enthusiastic about voting for housemates this year.
I get all my BBN stories on Nairaland cos I will rather watch WWE channel on my decoder than watch this BBN 9ja,but I know a lot of people who follow the show religiously.
My observation though of BBN 9ja this year,Yoruba people have no vested interest in the show this year,2 years ago it was Seyi Awolowo they queued behind,last year it was Laycon,I think this year,Yoruba people decided to take a break from the show,I advise the producers of BBN 9ja to always have a Yoruba-igbo ego battle if they want more enthusiasm for the show.
These 2 tribes are actually money spinners for reality shows,even Nairaland is benefiting from their unnecessary ego wars.
Secondly there must always be a love-hate drama on the show, everyone supports the under dog that the beautiful girl or handsome guy refuses to acknowledge his/her advances.
I swear I don't watch BBN 9ja on my decoder.
