In short ten years, Davido has unleashed hit songs upon hit songs with characteristic never-say-die spirit. He has stood up to the competition and opposing fanbase with hardwork and creative dexterity as well as consistency. He doesn't lick anybody's a*se to please another artiste. He doesn't run away from industry beefs but has never shown bitterness for other artistes' wins. With light-mindedness that is devoid of competitive bitterness, he goes about his business with his team, having fun and making money. Apart from music, Davido's slogan of "we rise by lifting others" shows the largeness of his heart as demonstrated by his helping many up and coming artistes, paying bills of numerous indigent fans and his recent massive show of fatherly love for motherless babies in Nigeria. Being human, Davido has frailties ranging avoidable youthful exuberance and his unbridled love for the fairer sex. Nevertheless, he has shown high sense of responsibility for products of his wild-oat-sowing - his daughters and son. May the next ten years and beyond be good to Davido as matures into a middle-aged man. Iseeee! |
olaolaking:I maintain and put it to you that Badagry as a historic and strategic town deserves a better deal that it is currently getting. |
olaolaking:You are entitled to your opinion but I strongly enjoin you to not only disagree but to personally visit Badagry. |
iguita:Key question. |
[quote author=StreetFight post=108788381]Is the law of nature. Badagry must pay for all the atrocities its forefathers. |
Badagry has unfairly suffered developmental neglect from successive governors in Lagos State. Each governor visited Badagry as election candidate to ask for votes with nothing remarkable done at the end of each four years. Badagry deserves to be opened up as tourism, vacation and hospitality hub in West Africa. Develop a proper town-plan for Badagry, build good network of roads and infrastructure, set up the beaches properly, involve investors, create areas for hotels, cinemas, night clubs, amphitheatres, amusement parks, conference centres ensure adequate security with CCTV, etc and watch Gambia crumble as tourist destination in West Africa. This remodelling of the slave market is good but Badagry deserves MORE. |
Alusiizizi:What makes you better Igbo man than I am? Your simplistic view? Smh |
Alusiizizi:You relish mediocrity. You bask in self-adulation too much and it is never good for development. How many states have you visited in Nigeria? Look, there is little difference between SE States and States in Nigeria when you go beyond state capitals. |
Agbegbaorogboye:The President cannot sign the bill in piecemeal. Both electronic clauses and Direct primary clauses are parts and parcel of the bill. Only NASS can make amendments. By the way, I don't electronic transmission is the reason Pres. Buhari gave for not signing. |
There is no doubt that NASS members who are pushing for direct primaries are doing so to protect their political interests against the interests of state governors who are opposing it. It is never about national interest or its practicality in terms of logistics, cost, etc. They don't care how much it costs provided it serves their selfish political ambition to continue to do nothing but share money. Yes, direct party primary election is good for democracy but there is need for a detailed study of its bolt and nut to identify likely weakness and threats and ways to counter them. APC governorship direct party primary in Anambra State was a huge disappointment and a bad advert for the idea of direct primary. There is need for a standard guidelines drawn from field experience. So, may be Osun State Governorship election should serve a kind of pilot scheme. Why rush into something you know just little about? |
Alusiizizi:You are the one who don't get. Your position is dangerous to the survival of Igbo and their businesses. Getting political power gives Igbo leverage to implement policies that will create favourable economic/trade policies and conducive environment for businesses. Otherwise, your businesses remain at the whims and caprices of the policies of your ethnic rivals. I am Igbo man and I know how important political power or at least political presence is for Igbo. For example, Igbo merchants at ASPAMDA and BBA could lose their plazas and shops at Trade Fair complex with just one funny policy intended to revive the complex. |
If Aisha Buhari is pregnant, only her husband, Pres. Buhari and their children would know. Sahara Reporters' PRESIDENTIAL SOURCE would NEVER know because it is strictly PRIVATE issue. The only way to know is the epiphany of the protruding tummy. Moreover, Aisha looks healthy, happy, lively and appears to be caressing her tummy. An ailing Aisha will certainly appear discomforted and should in fact pay more attention to treating herself than embarking on official trip with the President. Interestingly, the usually unemotive Pres. Buhari has lately been showing his brand of PDA to Aisha - from helping each other with nose masks to supporting her to host African first ladies. My inference here is that Aisha Buhari is more likely to be pregnant than suffering from cancer. Men are never too old to impregnate womenfolk. Perhaps, as all her children have all married, she needs a child to keep her company as she ages gracefully. I may be wrong but I may also be right. It is healthier to stay positive than negative until the truth emerges. Fingers crossed. |
Gov. Uzodimma is logically and politically right on this. APGA has limitations as vehicle for national presidency. However, there are many 'heavyweight' Igbo sons and daughters who are already in APC and PDP 'Ferrari cars' on the road to power. So, the fact is that APGA will never be a stumbling block to Igbo presidential candidates if APC and PDP zoned presidential candidacy to South East. |
chipet67:The truth is if you analyse that citation rationally, it may not be far from your personality. Yes, salt and pepper may have been added to improve taste but facts subsist. |

How can we flatten the curve of corruption in Nigeria? It is deep, wide and pandemic. |
Afonja2:Oh yes. Thanks for pointing out. Correction has been effected. |
lesbiconverter:How can Chrisantos Macaulay critique Ronaldo or Messi's performance? Only freedom of speech can give him that kind of confidence. |

DJ Cuppy's lack of steady lover is caused by: - One, she is too self-centred to make vital sacrifices required for romantic relationships to flourish. - Two, though she was born into money and grew up in money as Otedola's daughter and she has made her own money but unfortunately, she still sees money as an end instead of means to end. She worships her wealth and find it difficult share even in intimate relationship. Her Dad Femi Otedola has once jokingly tweeted about her twisted love for money. So she needs to visit the best of shrink. Las las, she will be a single mother or buy sperm from a random male and join to her frozen eggs. |
That ruling is nothing but judicial rascality. The judge loses nothing by saying that effective from the day of ruling that any marriage done at Ikoyi Registry is null and void. In any case, I am sure a stay of execution will be secured while an appeal is pursued very shortly. |

I am not FFK's fan but the fact that he ALWAYS has a RESIDENT young fair woman proves that Precious' statement might not be completely right. He changes them often and they always, including Precious, tend to look happy around him. However, the mystery here is why FFK would prefer to use artificial insemination to have babies with Precious instead of intercourse. By the way FFK hasn't refuted the artificial insemination story. In summary, the shameful exchanges between FFK and Precious is a pointer to the that the two parties are a tad mentally unbalanced. |
From the narrative, it was obvious that apart from the highly risky gamble of Muslim/Muslim ticket, the then Buhari's inner caucus led by the then Rivers State Gov. Chibuike Amaechi as his campaign manager didn't want another messy internal political tussle as was in Obasanjo/Atiku presidency. Having a VP or Deputy Governor who is politically stronger than his principal is a big problem because of clash of ego. Besides, the promise of VP to Tinubu was made by Buhari alone and personally out of his political naivety and perhaps his innate autocratic tendencies long before even the APC primary. Things were bound to change as soon as many political interests come into play after APC primaries. From what has happened and currently happening in the Buhari/Osinbajo presidency from 2015 till today, it is obvious that Tinubu as VP would have either been impeached and imprisoned by EFCC before 2019 or Buhari wouldn't have had his 2nd term. Well, at the end of the day, VP Yemi Osinbajo remains the greatest beneficiary. Talk about destiny. |
