Soludo Solution is obviously going to be revolutionary. Ndi Anambra waited for years to experience it. Now that it is here, we can only expect the best and give our strongest support. May God guide Charlie Nwamgbafor in this journey for which he was born. God bless Anambra State. |
Well... |
An attempt to create a technical loophole that will be exploited at appellate courts has been truncated. |
A good combination. Austine Eguavoen and Emmanuel Amunike are former team-mates and pals. He will offer Eguavoen vital tactical back-up as well as leverage his experience. |
To rise above the shadow of her much older Jackson 5 brothers and the subsequent massive shadow of Michael Jackson to make her own name and her own hits in global music history is something phenomenal. Janet Jackson is a strong woman. I am proud to be her fan. |
On the flip side, I have a feeling that Sammie Okposo had serious challenge with his wife and walked away into the arms of this American mistress. His wife tearfully reported him to his spiritual mentors who coerced him to make a U-turn. He in turn wanted to use the negative story to become a spiritual hero by boldly issuing public apology. The issue is that as far as the problem with his wife persists, the sparks or incentive that attracted him to his American mistress will still take him back to America. And it may just a permanent relocation. This is no-brainer because from the mistress' statement and body language, the relationship was neither a one-night stand nor a casual affair. By the way, Sammie Okposo is a gifted singer just like Wizkid and Davido who chose to sing about Jesus. He is no angel. The word "Ministry" is overrated and widely abused. |
His international travels for gigs as comedian is now encumbered as convicted drug offender. Avoidable and sad! |
Obasanjo's selfish intention of wanting to compensate Yar'adua's family for the death of his bosom friend late Musa Yar'adua led to imposition of late Umaru Yar'adua as President of Nigeria. He had healthier and more capable candidates around to support but he allowed selfishness to becloud his sense of patriotism and rationality. |
1. One positive thing that Augustine Eguavoen did was to prove that the current GOLDEN GENERATION of Super Eagles can play attacking football, which Nigeria is known for rather than unnecessary CAUTIOUS football that Gerhot Rohr was imposing. 2. It is important to state that bad officiating didn't make Tunisia beat Nigeria at AFCON but inferior tactics. Unfortunately, Covid attack on Tunisian squad made it difficult to study their team play while it was easy for them to study Nigerian team play, which made them clip Simon Moses. Look, I would demanded for red card if a Tunisian player tackled Iwobi the way he did against the Tunisian player. 3. The fact is that if Emmanuel Amunike didn't wound Amaju Pinnick's ego by refusing to work as assistant to Gerhot Rohr but demanding to replace him, he would have been the interim coach rather than Eguavoen. And of course, Amunike from records is a better tactically gifted than Eguavoen and he in fact mentored some of the current Super Eagles at age-group competitions. 4. Football is a game of mad passion so Nigerians' reactions to Maduka Okoye, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina are natural but unacceptable if it crosses line of rationality. It happened to Saka and Rashford after the EUROS but they bounced back. The best of GKs have conceded worst goals but were not killed. The truth is that a team's mistakes favour its opponent. It was defensive mistake that helped Iheanacho score against Egypt. 5. The task now is beating Ghana to qualify to World Cup. Hopefully , we will have Victor Osihmen and other preferred attackers fit and available. But the question of which coach manages that 2-legged qualifier is CRUCIAL beacuse not qualifying with the current golden generation of players will be a TREASON. 6. WE MOVE! |
We lost. That's it. |
Apart from his inexperience, did Nigerian ladies distract goalkeeper Maduka Okoye? Million fadaka question! |
Augustine Eguavon is not particularly a successful coach going by accomplishments. But his bold performance at AFCON once again made a strong case for highly qualified indigenous coaches like Emmanuel Amunike, George Finidi, etc. He was unlucky not to have Victor Osihmen, Dennis Emmanuel, Etebor, etc in the squad for selection. However, it must be said that rather than coach Eguavoen's tactics, it was team spirit and of course individual player form that took us far during group stage. When tactics were badly needed at KO stage, coach of Tunisian team showed superiority. Nevertheless, in order not to distract the players, Augustine Eguavoen should oversee our WC qualifiers against Ghana. |
The fact is that these days, most romantic social media posts by celebrities are more of paper over cracks than true reflection of the current state of their marriages. Kaffy's recent outburst after split from her husband, once again, reminds us of this hypocritical trend. Anyways, may Churchill's marriage to this sexy woman last longer. |
Fat women are heavily exploited materially for love. Their lovers create impression that they are doing them a favour and therefore oppress them with their sense of entitlement. Sad but the reality. |
Obi Cubana gathered ant-infested firewood during his mother's burial and shouldn't be surprised if lizards come calling to feast. |
Nothing beats an act of love and when it is done to a child, it looks gloriously divine. |
Most times, wealth brings in ego problem and what ought to be simple friendship between two rich persons to becomes too complicated and often dramatic. Billionaires Dangote and Otedola are showing that friendship can still be simple, devoid of ego and enjoyable like on good-old playground. |
Going paranoia can never stop Tinubu. Only greater and opposite force can stop him and this requires a lot of hard work, innovative strategies and large gathering of high-profile political supporters. |
If Osun State wants somebody like Sen Ademola Adeleke to lead them, that's ok. But, hey, it feels great to wake up every morning and remember that somebody like Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo will soon assume governorship of Anambra State. So much hope invested in one man. May God give him wisdom and vision to do uncommon things. |
Uphill task for Prof Yemi Osinbajo but doable. Politics is never straightforward. If it is in his stars, circumstances will fall in vital places for him. Fact is Nigeria needs an Osinbajo that it needs a Tinubu but again thats purely a subjective opinion. |
Becoming a president of Nigeria requires more than qualifications, intellectual capacity and experience because it involves democratic election by all registered adult citizens rather than selection through job interview by some executives. In democracy, election is a test of popularity. This is one demerit of democratic system but it is what it is. It becomes frustrating if the MOST popular candidate lacks requisite competence and character but has the resources as well as key MANIPULATIVE political figures as supporters across the country. And it becomes even more frustrating if the large number of enlightened citizens are politically passive, leaving easily manipulated unenlightened citizens to vote and decide. The hard fact here is that given the current political realities of Nigeria, candidates like Prof. Moghalu won't go far other than being appointed as ministers and advisers. |
Knowing how generous Davido is, I won't blame the policeman for working for another STREAM OF INCOME, which is what financial advisors recommend these days. He knows how much Davido would drop for him and his family if he is impressed with 'extracurricular' service. Most police or military escort of wealthy do worse things to win oga's material favours. The only problem is unsympathetically capturing it on camera. |
