jaxxy:Having read your reply, I hasten to say that I stand by original post. |
shadyLP:Is it too heavy for you? |
jaxxy:Was presented Obasanjo as presidential candidate and why? What happened at the Constitutional Conference convicted by President Jonathon? Why were there "no-go areas" at the Conference? Why did Bola Ajibola run into troubled waters and what waters? |
Interestingly, bulk of these bandits are Fulani. ![]() |
Nyesom Wike and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are two similar poles that naturally repel each other. They repulse each other. These are two strong ruthless characters that will still play out the same way even if they exchange their current roles. No two alpha males share a platform peacefully. None! |
How did Nigeria get here? Simple. The frustration in any an EQUAL MULTI-PARTNERSHIP is having to deal with a partner who ERRONEOUSLY believes -- he is SUPERIOR to other partners -- he is the ONLY fabric holding the partnership together -- he is the ONLY one who determines the terms and conditions of the partnership -- and that any issue he is NOT comfortable with is a "no go area", which should never make it to the discussion table. At a point, with back against the wall, the other partners will become frustrated and in order to change the prevailing circumstances and narratives, they would become aggressively assertive and demand for an equitable partnership. |
ismodiwa:You are politically ignorant. Chill, drink water and learn. |
Listen up Gov. Ganduje. One key factor holding Nigeria back is the tendency of most Northern public office holders to see every critical and strategic national policy issue or program in terms of WE (Northern interests) vs THEM (Southern interests). It is hardly about ONE NIGERIA as often trumpeted. Naturally, this negative attitude interfers with sincerity of purpose, sense of rationality and fairness needed for national development. That's exactly why Nigeria has been unable to reach its potentials. It is what is holding the country down from optimally harnessing its resources and its diversity. It is what is holding us from having a positively progressive constitution since Independence and may interfer with on going review effort. |

Sultan of Sokoto may be a religious leader but being an educated mind, he disappointed big time with his priorities at the Constitution Review session. More important than a piece of cloth that adds nothing to any Muslim girl's morality is access to quality education even when they are married in order to tap into their God-given capabilities and live a productively fulfilling life like the daughters of the elites. However, it is refreshing to hear the Sultan make a case for a new constitution. Assuming that he was sincere, it gives a glimmer of hope for reaching a consensus on key issues. |
Yes, I am traumatized by the activities of UGM and particularly the unnecessary killing of Amiable Ahmed Gulak. However, Audu Ogbeh as senior citizen of Benue State is a big old fool to continue to act as Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), an association that is blind, deaf and dumb to the wanton killings in Benue State. Of what use is his leadership position in ACF if he can't influence the adoption of cattle ranching for the sake of peace in his home state. Obviously his being a chairman is a mere tokenism by crafty Fulani elites to divert attention and maintain its status quo. |
Good one from Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu. Mature, bold and democratic. |
The people in the video are all IMPOSTORS. None of them possesses the requisite UNCTION and FACULTIES to either consecrate a host necessary for transubstantiation or to lift a monstrance with Blessed Sacrament. I doubt if any of them can appropriately chant the complimentary "Salutaris Hostia" or "Tantum Ergo". Therefore what the imposters have done is simply akin to a Nollywood dramatization. |
Lazynigerian1:Look, I am not saying that there is no TB cases in Anambra State but a case in every 13 residents is not possible. If we are to believe that stat and since that TB is AIRBORNE then hospitals in Anambra State would have been filled up with patients given the number of weddings, funerals and extensive and intensive interaction in the numerous markets in the State. |
Given his lowly background, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has accomplished a lot and therefore has every reason to praise God. I hope he also finds time to call Dr. Peter Odili who God used to thanks him. Happy birthday to you railway man. |
Which Anambra State is he talking about? Smh Either Ugochukwu Chukwulobelu is quoting lame statistics to justify money diverted or he is sweating to justify some crazy budget estimates he submitted. **Modified Of course there are TB cases in Anambra State as in other states of the federation. However, If we are to believe this piece of stat and since that Tuberculosis is AIRBORNE then hospitals in Anambra State would have been filled up with TB patients given the extensive and intensive interactions that take place at numerous markets, weddings, funerals in the State. |
Exodora:I shook my head for FFK's loins. I bet it is overlaboured. |
Exodora:Smh |
If a man who died at the time APC was being formed woke up today, he will find it extremely difficult to tell PDP and APC apart. He will look for Chief Ikimi and sees him in PDP. He will look for Daniel Gbenga and sees him in APC. He searches for Godswill Akpabio and sees in APC. By the time he sees Adamu Muazu, the PDP national chairman as at 2015, in APC, he will shout "opari!" and request to be allowed go back to his casket to continue 'deading his death'. ![]() |
FFK accused his ex-wife Precious Chikwendu of infidelity but he has already sampled many women since their separation. It says a lot about who between them was sleeping around during that marriage. It says a lot. |
NengiWIDEtoto:Do you categorize the hot-headed governors of Oyo and Edo weaklings? Before now, was Gov. Akeredolu your hero? Smh |
Kulas:Gov. Akeredolu is the chairman of Southern Governors' Forum and thus speaks with the force of 17 Governors behind him. Agree that another governor as chairman might not have come with the shown aggressiveness. Being a constitutional laywer counts in his favour. However, trying to paint other governors as weakling is a bit unfair. |
Condoning the activities of UGM under any guise is like playing with fire with petrol nearby. Fire may be a useful servant but certainly a destructive master. Condoning the activities of UGM under any guise is like riding on the back of a tiger. The likely consequence is ending up in tiger's stomach. Any true Igbo who seeks the interpretation of a simple proverb should just know that the bride-price paid on his mother's head is a waste. |
It was this Abubakar Malami and Garba Shehu who wrote that infantile press statement on the recent resolutions of Southern Governors' Forum (SGF) and released it as official statement from President Buhari and released it as official position of the presidency. But the Chairman of SGF Gov. Akeredolu saw through their shenanigans and reacted with legally appropriate and positively agressive reply like Senior Advocate of Nigeria he is. |
I am not sure that Anchor Borrowers’ Programme is as lucrative as 'Anchor Kidnappers' Programme'. Not sure! ![]() |
Duru9:He didn't come back to lick his vomit. He came back out of respect for his elder sister Yeni the celebrant and Femi. But the fact remains that he showed his displeasure with Gov Sanwoolu. Truth be told, showing middle fingers was unnecessary but what do you expect from a Fela's son. |

IGBOSON1:Yes, but they can be assertively independent on certain occasions that have to do money issues: legitimate allowances and illegitimate gratifications. It is a bit of political conspiracy. |
Anambra State's IGR drive must NOT be driven by lock-up shops buildings. It is too predictable and simplistic. First, no massive economic growth can be achieved without critical infrastructure and security. Now that the airport is coming on stream, fix the road network and install CCTV and secure licence for power-generating plant. Set up a tight and covert proactive intelligence and security system to augment community policing and Nigerian Police. Second, set up a high-class housing estate and world-class industrial estates in the three Senatorial zones. Then, woo hundreds of high net worth Anambra citizens to set up industries of various kinds. Anambra State IGR will catapult but a larger part of it must be re-invested into improving infrastructure to keep the productive cycle alive. Anambra State government can make the state the hub of poultry business (broiler, chicks, eggs, feedmills, vet drug outlets, etc.) in Nigeria by encouraging young grduates to form co-opeeative societies, train and guarantee credit facilities to help them hundreds of poultry business in a particular area. Anambra State can replicate Turkey model to become the hub clothing industry in Nigeria by encouraging local and international investors to set massive cloth-making industries in the State. Clothing is a basic needs of man. Look, there are many things that can increase IGR other than "spare-parts" business. Even ICT can be made big. But it needs brainstorming, development of roadmap and careful implementation. Of course, the State House Assembly can pass the produced roadmap into law like Appropriation Act to maintain focus and avoid derailment by successive governments. |
