chris365: Will you please just shut up already. So are south Africans that get killed everyday(a murder rate still higher than Nigeria with boko haram) not law abiding citizens? You are really stup1d.

No one has denied the problem in borno, but for you to open you gutter and say it is very serious just make you ignorant.

Terrorism cannot be defeated anywhere in the world. It can be controlled to the barest minimum which Nigeria has achieved.
Algeria till today still gets hit by AQIM, but you can't deny there progress in containing the animals.

Please enlighten yourself before exposing your foolishness.
There is still huge difference between war crimes and murder which is prosecutable by the just ordinary court of law. Do you by any way think that the BH boys can be prosecuted by any court in Nigeria for all the crimes to humanity they have committed. Murder in SA is prosecutable and recorded in crime stats.

chris365: Not minding the rubbish you wrote.

Yes. Nigerians are Smart enough to be fighting a foreign backed terror group and still grow an economy to take over from a once unreachable SA. thanks for the complement pig
Ofcouse, Nigeria is a populous African country in Africa and that does not come by any surprise. It should infact have a bigger economy than the UK.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:27am On Dec 23, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: And how does your comment respond to the points I have made to teach you how not to be stupi.d and fraudulent? Even tiny BENIN REPUBLIC is host to several submarine fibre optic gateways, talk less of Angola or even Nigeria. Question still remains ... where is our Nigcomsat gateway located in SA?

Until you acquaint yourself with my comment above you remain a fool today!
The place is Hartebeeshoek near Krugerdorp in Gauteng. The one and the only in Africa.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:14am On Dec 23, 2013
chris365: You are useless. There are 36 states in Nigeria and war on terror is only affecting one which is not contributing anything to the Nigerian economy.

And your stup1d brain calls it serious. Serious enough to make Nigerian economy overtake SA by next year? Serious enough to make Nigeria the country with the highest FDI in Africa this year and next?

You and you fellow south sad Africans are just a bunch of clueless and ignorant 1diots that don't know anything outside SA.

Carry on. Ode
You care more about economy than the victims who are law abiding citizens of Nigeria and yet continue to lose their lives for nothing. It doesnt matter if is affecting 3 states in Nigeria or not, but still it is happenning in Nigeria.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:09am On Dec 23, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: If you had known the meaning of a gateway or tried to educate yourself from my direct comment and response to you, you'd not have responded in this manner! The topic is about Nigeria's satellite gateways and so far there isn't anything credible you have offered to sustain your dubious claim.

Until you can tell between a submarine fibre optic gateway and satellite gateway, just shut up! BTW, my comment above still stands!
There is a huge difference between submarine cables, which have recently installed by MTN and satellite gateways. There is a huge difference between satellite network and Cable network.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:03am On Dec 23, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: A pig will always be a pig! All mud and no decency! All stupidity and no sense! Deluded by the smell from his piggy pout!
Perhaps, is your amadioha that controls your satellites for you on the ground.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 8:56am On Dec 23, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: And an infantile CrazePig for want of something to say is only able to express more of his chronic stupidity? Sadly he and his dumb FighterPilot know nothing about Satellites. They fail to understand that making spurious and silly points seriously exposes their porous nyash! Nigeria's Satellites are doing their rounds in orbit and are fully functioning, controlled and manned from our ground control station. Ask or beg nicely to get a piece of our satellite's functionality/action and we may site the gateway to fulfill SA's satellite cravings!
I think the only person who knows nothing about satellites is you. I live in a country which is very advanced in Engineering, Science and Technology. Satellites require servers (gateways) from which to access network, or do you think satellites are controlled manually from the ground to orbit the earth.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 8:34am On Dec 23, 2013
NaijaPikinGidi: Stupid boy! I was even hoping you'd be talking about satelite relay and base stations being located in SA but here you are talking your kak about servers! You well at all? Look up Main One, Glo-1, WACS and SAT3 landing points/gateways. Stop fooling around.
It seems as if you dont even know what a gateway is. All gateways that are connecting Africa to Europe are located in SA.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 8:28am On Dec 23, 2013
CraigB: This is where the useless Naai-gerian military personnel gave up their wives and children to Boko Haram. cry

It doesn't get more pathetic than this.
My friend this is really not a joke anymore. I have also seen that on the news. The second most powerful military in Africa (source: Agaugust's rankings) have really suffered a collateral damage at the hands of insugents. They have had several soldiers killed and their wives and children kidnapped, probably even r.aped as we speak, but the army is keeping mum about the whole ordeal. There is indeed a serious problem going on in that country of denial.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:35am On Dec 23, 2013
agaugust: gateways for satellite telecoms will work like GSM base stations that are spread over a city to transfer/connect/forward signals/messages from source point to final destination point.

could be used for telecommunication satellites, but would not be needed for earth observation satellites that just take pictures of locations.

i dont know any source that says nigeria has satellite gateways in south africa, it may just be a story south africans cook up because we have embarrassed them with the fact that they dont have any satellite cheesy

i cannot say if the gateway thing about nigeria is true or false.

.
It seems as if you know little about how satellites work. Satellites need servers (gateways) to funtion optimally, be it of anything, including taking images.

Read the link below to see that your gateways are located in SA, China, Italy and Northern Nigeria.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:21pm On Dec 22, 2013
souldust: what is this "gateway" all about? Whats the implication of it being in SA?
Most of sub-saharan African countries receive their network from SA. A gateway is a source of network or router in simple language.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 5:04pm On Dec 22, 2013
agaugust: sounds weird, never heard of it. cant say T or F.
That is very true, one of your gateway for Nigcomsat is located in SA.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 4:50pm On Dec 22, 2013
agaugust: south africans believe every other african country is 90% village where people live with zero technology.
The truth is, SA is indeed the only country in Africa close to Europe. Ask your fellow citizens.

Boko Haram lost respect for Nigerian Millitary. Yet again an Army base was attacked, resulting in many deaths of the wives and children of soldiers. As a usual practice, Nigerian military will again downplay number of casualties.

Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 7:34pm On Dec 20, 2013
rka1: Nobody has said Gulma is a killer drone. Read previous posts before you display your continued ignorance. You SAs first said we can't produce a UAV, now it is missiles, then what next when you are all disproved?

You are nothing but desperate trolls. Concentrate on your parade ground SANDF.
Is not me but your fellow countryman who indicated to us that you will arm your drone with missiles.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 7:28pm On Dec 20, 2013
agaugust: yes i speak of nigeria, we built Gulma drone and it is world class performing eleven different roles.

what else do you want to hear ? the one we will say that will give you a second heart attack ? you want to d.ie young ? cheesy
Nigeria is no where any near being better than SA, even the world know about it. I even thought you were refering to America which you and I know that you dont live in there.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 7:21pm On Dec 20, 2013

That is not important by the way, coz i only wanted to make a similarity.

agaugust: TATA india makes all kinds of cars, show us a south african made car, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are not south african products cheesy

.
Who said they are SA brands? Nobody did say anything like that. I have only wanted to give an example.

BTW, SA assemble BMW's and Mercedes.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 5:00pm On Dec 20, 2013
agaugust: it is amazing that now when nigeria builds a new world class drone, south africans say drones are nothing special becasue pizza companies build them cheesy

why did you not say this when @THIZA was posting many nice photos of DENEL drones from page 1 to 900 of this thread ? cheesy

better dont let Gulma Drone k.ill y.ou with envy even before we arm it with a missile cheesy

.
Gulma drone is not a killer drone and will never be. Drones use special kind of missiles which Nigeria does not have.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 4:53pm On Dec 20, 2013
agaugust: look here mister, the country where i live is far more advanced than your over-rated south africa, and it is an old story here that some door to door sales companies dream of using drones to deliver products, NOT military use calibre of drones.

show me which Pizza company has build a drone with spare parts off the shelf that has the same eleven functions/uses of nigerian Gulma drone.

i am waiting....fool cheesy
Speak of Nigeria.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 4:52pm On Dec 20, 2013
PatriotZAR: @Agaugust, Would you do me the honour of making comparisons of your latest british made Gulma UAV to our entirely locally produced Seeker 400 UAV? I cannot find much info on it other than... '' it is powered by 17hp engine... Operates via radio control on a micro pilot FCS avionics System... Maximum altitide of 10 000 feet... Endurance of 5.5hours'
'
Does it have electro-optical/infrared imaging and radar like the Seeker 400? How about an electronic surveillance payload than can detect and locate radar emitters?

I will await your comparison. grin@Agaugust, Would you do me the honour of making comparisons of your latest british made Gulma UAV to our entirely locally produced Seeker 400 UAV? Well said bro, surely you can never compare the likes of TATA to the big brands such as BMW's and Mercedes-Benz.

chris365: it must hurt your feelings so bad that Nigeria which is not a fully industrialized country has managed to build a growing defence industry.

you go just die of heart attack.
Oh!! Really. What does my feelings have to do with your still growing defence industry ever since early 1960's. The industry which has been left to shrink because of the utter failure to being given opportunities.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 8:04pm On Dec 19, 2013
agaugust: South Africa had zero endurance to fight ordinary Seleka rebels for one day, how will you have endurance to fight Egypt's 1.5 million man army ?

you better write your will now and sign your own death warrant, because Egypt will speed up your premature obituary cheesy

.
With all those large numbers, they have lost miserably in almost all their encounters. SA is undoutedly having more potential than your so called Egypt. We will defeat Egypt in any war.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 7:54pm On Dec 19, 2013
agaugust: no wonder you have only 11 Rooivalk helicpters since you cannot afford to pay DENEL for more than 11 units to fight the likes of Botswana cheesy
How many gunships do u have? Bwahahahahaha!!! By the way, we are a professional country, just like the US and the UK, thus we know which is which and who has the responsibility to do what.

You do not think with you heads but your buttocks, no wonder the military in your country is developing its own weapons. Now tell me what is the DICON for? Are they just christmas trees with nothing to offer. You have really undermined them and in that case there is no reason for them to exist any more.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 6:49pm On Dec 19, 2013
chris365: guy, NAF built the damn drone and the president launched a large airforce factory for more production by the airforce for the airforce.

unlike SANDF, our military can independently develop their weapons and collaborate with private and state defence companies if need be. tongue
You are a fool, SA is a fully industrialised country. Where did you see in any first world country military developing its own weapons. That is only possible in third world country which has an under-developed defence industry.

agaugust: current south african airforce drunkard pilots have zero combat experience

nigerian Alpha jet and F-7 jet pilots have been engaged in air to ground combat for the past 20 years till today, even against enemy forces that fired anti-aircraft guns on them.

south african air force pilots spend all their time drinking alcohol and posing for @THIZA to photograph them.

they get salaries paid to them every month, yet cannot fight war !

show us any war where your soweto Hawk and Gripen jets have fired any thing against even on cockroach cheesy

Even when the records speaks for themselves you are still habouring the tendency of denying the truths.

I have recently found out from military experts that SA has even more potential in war than your favourate Egypt. Egypt has all the weapons but they lack passion and endurance. SA, yes can defeat Egypt.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m):
Augustine Again: almost 3rd rank, but Ethiopia vs Algeria and Ethiopia vs Nigeria will be a hard fight.

Ethiopia vs South Africa, the inexperienced and cowardly current South African military will surrender in less than one month

Top Ten Military Powers Of Africa Ranked In Order Of Overall Strength

(1) EGYPT

(2) NIGERIA

(3) ALGERIA

(4) ETHIOPIA

(5) SUDAN / SOUTH AFRICA / MOROCCO / UGANDA

(6) ERITREA / ANGOLA
.
The records speaks for themselves.

South Africa is undoubtedly the Africa's military power. Egypt only has an experience of defeat in almost every war they fought.

Nigeria has a poor combat history and had never experienced any outing on both world war 1 and 2.

Augustine Again: let me ask you one simple question.

south african Gripen jet is flying at 13km above sea level to intercept a nigerian F-7 jet flying at 1km above sea level.

the F-7 is trying to attack south african soft targets on ground, if the Gripen fires its air to air missiles, will it strike the F-7 ?

answer simple yes or no ?

‘Isreali contractors sold Nigeria $240m non-functional drones’

on November 05, 2012 / in News 9:50 am /

the israeli drones only had an electrical fault like any machine could have and they have been repaired and working as at now....dummy grin

"An Israeli-manufactured AeroStar UAV prepares for lift-off at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna.

They might be helping us but what I am SURE about is that I was watching on NTA News when the Air Chief commissioned the Centre for Innovative and Adaptive Technology at the Air Force Institute of Technology and as some point, an NCO came out pushing this UAV as into a takeoff run and it rolled on and took off. It was specifically described as an AEROSTAR UAV and that is Israeli-made. That is why those Israeli gentlemen are in the photo.

NTA NEWS this evening showed the NAF conducting demonstration flights of the Aerostar UAV at Kaduna today. "

Chief, just accept that you have been dubbed of your hard cash. Just imagine buying a new set of shoes and only to find that your shoes have a factory fault. You find out that your newly bought shoes have no stiches at all and thereafter the dealer asks you to sew them yourself. That is very hearthobbing indeed.

Your country is being taken for granted by foreigners under the noses of your leaders. You see where the problem come from, trusting westerners over your neighbours. You should have put your order with Denel and with $260 million we could have given you something better, a killer drones which you can arm with missiles and offer technical maintenance for free.
