agaugust: 15 million south africans have ZERO electricity and have never seen a light bulb since the day they were bornThat link of yours unfortunately is not accessible. I tried to ask google about purported 15 millions South Africans with no electricity, but google does not know anything about it. I tried to figure out in what part of South Africa do they live since the whole of SA is electrified from A-Z. We are producing more electricity than Australia so your suggestion will equally translate that more than 25 million Australians are without electricity. I thought by claming that you are an MBA graduate you will reason with objectivity, but now it proved to us that you might have perhaps never even attained a high school qualifications. 45000MW alone will tell you that SA is producing a mass power to surely over 49 million people. Just google how many electricity do all the households of SA consume, surely you will find that SA is sitting at no:17 across the world. |
I hope agaugust does not know we have SUNSAT miniature which we launched in 1999. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SUNSAT |
agaugust: you are always outdated in information, lost soulNothing for Mahala my friend. Your satellite was replaced with a tag of $46 billion worth of insurance payments. http://octoberfirst.com.au/?p=807 Foreigners knock you left right and centre. South Africa has three satellites in orbit. http://www.iweek.co.za/on-the-cover/sa-leads-satellite-game-in-africa http://www.itweb.co.za/mobilesite/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=69230 http://www.sabc.co.za/news/a/6feb8c00415879a38b87bf93343a19ea/South-Africa-to-launch-third-satellite-into-space-next-month-20130510 |
chris365: whine all you want. it doesn't change the fact that your military is useless against common poachers that blow their heads on sight.Poaching did not receive any military consideration until now recently. To be more exact three years ago. Nature conservation is not a military responsibility. The government should instead beef up security by increasing the number of Rangers who can effectively fight poaching. |
DictatorZAR: Now fool this can only happen to Naai-ja.Bahahahahahaha!! First it was China, which sold them dysfunctional satellite and now is Israel which is dubbing them of cash. 419 does not only have its headquaters in Lagos. This is really unbelievable!!!! |
DictatorZAR: Mind you this will be the biggest ever funeral of a former head of state in history over 70 current heads of states will attend the memorial tomorrow and others on sunday for the funeral.91 of the heads of state already confirmed their visit. |
Henry120: Africans have no justification whatsoever to call the french neo-colonialist. Seeing that african leaders have simply refused to do the needful as regards to peace and security on the african continent. The french again have taken the initiative to fill that gap.All of your troops have been withdrawn from deployments because of couter-insugency. Here under is a list of wars you fought. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Nigeria |
chris365: hahahahahaha. you missed the point boy. try again dumbo. You are lying to your teeth. 4000MW is too small for population of over 40 million people. So tell me do you think that SA is playing cards with their 45000MW power production rather than providing it to the people. That power which they provide to the population of 50 million is still experiencing power shadding whereby South Africans are being alerted to switch off their geisers, heaters and other appliances whenever they are not in use. Tell me now how will 4000MW which is even smaller than what Joburg provides alone can ever manage to cope with 40 million end users? |
Mike..ZA:I already told him that SA with 45000MW is still experiencing power shadding and now i wanted him to tell me how the hell on earth can 4000MW provide electricity to more than 40 million people, unless of course they use it only for lighting which is still impossible. No wonder there are no any electronic gates in Nigeria. They are still utilising gate man even to this age who manually opens and close the gate, unlike in SA where gates are eletronically operated. |
Tomorrow i will be in Madiba's memorial service to pay tribute to the man who fought for freedom of SA. Barrack Obama, Oprah Winfrey and many more will be there. So please join us if you are in South Africa.

Hoefyster is our future:
|
agaugust: nigeria has 9 israeli drones and 3 NAF made drones Amebo I, II, and IIIWe have more than that. We have developed more than 9 AUV's for the past 20 years and SANDF have used more than that ever since. Unfortunately, there are no any records showing how many UAV's we have at the moment, but will confirm it very soon because we normally do not take any records of them since we have plenty more. It is equally like when you are asking me how many rattles or R4s do we have in SANDF. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Shut the eff up!! What law? Are you mad? Don't start what you can't finish! Point to the law young man! DENEL and SANDF are two different entities that must survive based on their individual commercial turnovers or fiscal budgetary allocations each year! SANDF will use products/weapons based on COD or on a firm articulated contractual basis! Stop feeding yourself with more delusions.Denel is a government enterprise and is owned by the people of SA to develop arms for our local defence and provide other nations with a unit price. During war, SANDF has all the rights to use whatever denel has developed to achieve victory against any invading enemy. Fact!! Live with it. |
chris365: Transmittion is what delivers power to the people. Not just capacity generated. How come up to 5 million south Africans still have never seen light before. If a population of 50 million in SA exerts power shadding on 40000MW, now tell me what about 4000MW that you are claiming is providing 40million people in Nigeria? Your claim is smelling of fish. 4000MW is too small to provide power to 40 million people. My friend that is a lie. Where do those 5 million live because there is no any town, city or metropolitan in South Africa which does not have electricity. The population of South Africas villagers is even less than 2 million. Botswana as a whole country has a population less than that of Soweto alone. Soweto has a population of more than all the villages of South Africa combined together. Over 80% of SA villages have electricity. Over 80% of SA population have relocated to cities, thus live in urban areas. SA has a population of 50 million and now tell me where does 5 million people with no electricity come from. Dont tell us about old articles which Agaugust like to quote from, which were either written when the ANC was only 5 years in power and still struggling to change the lives of the poor. SA has since advanced my friend, i hope you come here one day to witness what we have here. No wonder many of your mates do not want to return back home once they set their foot in SA. Here under SA is sitting at no:15 in respect of power production by countries. It is above world giants such as Australia and others and still there are more power stations which are currently being built in SA to deal with power shadding. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_electricity_production |
NaijaPikinGidi: We could as well say we have many drones! But the question to you (which apparently you are struggling to answer) is HOW MANY more than 12 UAVs does SANDF have operationally? Just give an answer and show reasonable/reliable proof. Otherwise anyone can make unsubstatiable and fraudulent claims like you.Bwahahahahahahaha!!! We all know that Nigeria does not have the capability of buying nor even developing UAV's. Such a technology is still new in Nigeria, while SA has been using it for the past 20 years and not only utilising it, but also manufacturing it on large scale. Private citizens in South Africa even have drones and some have even formed clubs to compete with them. |
chris365: Yes. The drone SANDF does not have the money to acquire from rebel.According to the law in South Africa, what belongs to Denel belongs to SANDF during war and distress. The local defence has every rights to utiilise whatever Denel has in stock during attack by the enermy to achieve victory. |
In terms of Nuclear power, South Africa is no:22 and Nigeria is nowhere to be seen. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power_by_country |
Mike..ZA:Here we are no: 17 and have moved to no: 14. Nigeria is no: 70. Shame. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_electricity_consumption |
The new denel bateleur UAV:
|
NaijaPikinGidi: You surely inherited your stupidity and foolishness from your parents! I don't need to go to the extremes to disprove your baseless claim. Simply state how many are operationally deployed in your SANDF? A big workshop and a plant that manufactures anything from bolts to bullet rounds doesn't confer on a spineless SANDF the ownership of bolts and bullets that they do not own! You cannot fly Gripens to CAR yet you want to fly weaponised drones in your dreams? Make I pass jaare! We have many drones in SAAF such that i even lost their number. We have plenty more which can double 12 in many times. |
chris365: Not a threat yet killing your soldiers like chicken. they have even lost a helicopter in the process.Poachers have never killed any soldier in SA. Soldier dying in Kruger National Park does not mean he was killed by poachers. We have our own training facility in KNP and as you know in any military operation soldiers are killed accidentally. http://ewn.mobi/news/Local/sandf-soldier-shot-himself-not-murdered/7535 |
Mike..ZA:Their satellites are really useless. They claim to have 12 UAV and why cant they use them against BH. I dont believe that Nigeria has even one operational drone. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Are you actually this slow in the brain? Henry120 provided you the very same info you are asking for. You develop drones for commercial purposes, we develop ours for military and surveillance purposes. You seem so mentally bankrupt! You are such a fool, we develop drone on a large scale, both for our local defence and prospective buyers. We have a big workshop and plant which has been developing drones on a large scale for over 20 years. I should have been ashamed to come here boasting with just mere 12 drone which cannot even carry missiles. |
Drones are not something new in SANDF, unlike many militaries in Africa which do not even know how to operate drones to this day. SA has been operating drones ever since the Angolan war and have modified them with the latest technology over the years. http://www.saairforce.co.za/the-airforce/aircraft/160/seeker-1 |
NaijaPikinGidi: Come back here when you are sure! Probably? Until you prove that you have more than twelve operational UAVs in your fleet, just shut up your empty trap!Firstly can you prove to me that you have 12 operational UAV's. We have quite more than a mere 12 drones in our defence force, infact we develop drones for commecial purposes. I dont know how the hell would you compare yourself with such a country. http://www.bdlive.co.za/national/2013/07/23/sandf-drones-patrol-borders |
The raptor: proudly brought to you by Denel.
|
agaugust: Brazil is in nigeria to partner in our NAF drones development. We have over 20 years experience developing drones, thats why we are helping great nations as UAE. |
Denel is helping great nations to develop drones. http://www.bdlive.co.za/national/2013/04/12/denel-helping-saudi-arabia-develop-drones |
This guy from Nigeria is really mad. South Africa is an industrialised nation, thus our defence force does not develop weapons on their own. Denel came into being as a result of the act of parliament for such purpose as developing arms for our local defence. Why on earth should SAAF develop drones of their own when they have such a big defence industry? |
