Sydney22:Maybe you missed the part were I clearly stated that government should equally deal with any group of persons(Fulani herdsmen included) that said Nigeria/Nigerians will not have peace |
cktheluckyman:A militia group can only overpower a government if the said government is not a serious one. All over the world, the government is the one with the meat and knife. I hope you do know that some corrupt navy personnels guiding the pipelines usually collect some bribes from the militants before allowing them(militants) to blow up the pipelines. With a serious government in place, I don't think they will allow such norm to continue |
Dbboy:If Jonathan refused to take any decisive action against boko haram when he was the C-in-C then that was his cup of tea, so as you can see my friend, buhari is entirely different from Jonathan. |
The time to deal with economy saboteurs(Niger delta militants) is now. Over the years, clueless and unserious government(s) have been either negotiating with them or some sort of silly amnesty was given to them, this in my opinion is the zenith of foolishness. Why on this God's given earth will any serious government that have Naval officers, Air force personnels, police force, civil defence and thousands of gallant soldiers be negotiating or pleading with militants/terrorists not to blow up pipelines that transports our gas to one power plant or another? Buhari and his APC government shouldn't mince words upon words, they should start taking serious actions. Nigerians especially those that didn't vote for this present administration have been retweeting the NO LIGHT NO FUEL NO MONEY #hashtag, and the funny thing is that the same people retweeting that hashtag are equally the same group of people who jubilates when the so-called militants blow up the pipelines thereby putting everybody in darkness. You don't want erratic power supply but you are always in jubilant mood when pipelines are vandalized. Once again I want to use this medium to remind president buhari of his promise that the nation's power supply will improve greatly. The 2016 budget is yet to be sign by the president. Upgrading our dilapidated navy by equipping them with the best fast pursue boats, sophisticated weapons, Intel and a broader logistics should be an important priority in president buhari's budget. What was done to boko haram should equally be done with any group of persons that swore that Nigeria/Nigerians will not have peace. There shouldn't be any favouritism in fighting militants and their terroristic acts. If any group of persons have any problem with the government, then taking up arms against the state or blowing up pipelines thereby putting the nation in perpetual darkness is never the answer nor is it a solution. Nigeria should stop putting itself in a situation whereby at the end of the day it will still be held to ransom Like shekau like Tompolo, enough is enough. This is my clarion call to the person(s) in power that will put an end to pipelines vandalism once and for all May God bless us all |
I hope saraki's head will be included.I still can't fathom why that saraki of a man won't just honourably step down as the senate president. |
Nigeria; A country were the super rich people are getting richer while the super poor people are getting poorer. I don't even think anything like middle-class people exist in Nigeria. May God help us all |
The problem with you Mr op is that; you lie alot. You are very sanctimonious that you normally end up fooling yourself and your gullible intellectually handicapped fans. Now you started peddling your lies that buhari inherited a reform power sector from goodluck Jonathan. If truly the sector was reformed as you want to hoodwink your readers to believe, then why was power distribution and generation in a comatose state in the last month of goodluck's administration? Nigeria as a country was never divided like what happened in the past administration. We even saw how a suppose first lady insulted an entire section of the federation just because of her husband's ambition. Goodluck himself told the entire world that a particular section of the country are sabotaging his efforts. Now how can a leader make reckless comments like this? Did you just said he inherited a Nigeria that was the number one hub for investors coming to Africa. Now tell me, how many investments were made in Nigeria during goodluck's tenure? As for the confab report, buhari didn't initiated it nor did the 8th Assembly approved it. Btw do you know that confab was illegal and wasn't backed up by any law nor was any motion moved against/for it in the senate? Jonathan was told that he was conducting an illegal confab but what did he do? Op, you are just one mischievous man riding on the gullibility of your supporters and fans. The Biafra agitators are not serious and buhari as the commander in chief is expected to protect every inch of Nigeria territory. If goodluck had won the previous election, nobody would have heard anything like "give us Biafra or death". The agitation for Biafra itself is an after election defeat cry. So I don't understand how a sane person will compare Biafra agitation with a genuinely agitation of sahrawi state. And if you are not informed, then let me tell you that the agitation for sahrawi state didn't state today, rather the agitation has being ongoing for ages. Their case is even in the UN and even US are supporting the sahrawi separate state from Morocco. Can same be said about Biafra? Funny. Op were you not the same person that came here to peddle your lies about gbagi villa demolition(an issue you know knowing about), but when I brought facts, statistics to you, what did you do? Didnt you ignorantly abandoned the thread you opened to say what you know nothing about? All what you said in your post was just a work of an unprofessional mischief maker. Just like one commentator observed, your writing is too shallow, petty and reek of ignorance. |
ItsMeAboki:The people you are arguing with are ignorant and intellectually handicapped to make any sense. I was going through their comments and I couldn't grasp any meaningful/intelligent argument from them. They only thing I think I grasp from their argument is; condemn yunusa, condemn yunusa, as if your condemnation of yunusa's action will make them billionaires overnight. Is even very funny that they lack any knowledge of their region and their religion. Their main motive of creating a thread like this is not because they want to condemn yunusa's misdoing, but simply to insult Islam, north and Hausa/Fulani. And the funny thing is, little girls are brutally raped almost everyday by their pastors and people who they entrusted their girls to. Was it not just last week that a pastor kidnapped three young girls? How many of them here have open any thread to condemn the evil act of the pastor? I even saw how they are dodging the atrocities committed in the Catholic headquarters, that's in Vatican were the pope reside. Now how many of them have ever condemn the evil actions of the Vatican bishops who were molesting both little boys and girls. I say a big kudus to you for putting these hypocrites to were they belong |
Is only in Nigeria you will see a man/woman whooping someone's kid with all sorts of horsewhip and punishing kids with different types of punishments e.g riding bicycle, frog jump, levelling grass, touch your toes, hands down legs up on the wall, etc. Then one begins to wonder, what really happened to guiding and counselling a child? I remember this incident where this Nigeria lady who got employed as a par time teacher here gave one of her pupil a heavy knock on the head just because the kid was distracting his fellow pupils in the classroom. I don't know, maybe she thought she was still in Nigeria. Well at the end of the day, the parents of the kid sued her and the school. The management were left with no other option than to drop her and pay for certain damages. If not for some people that intervene, the woman would have been sent to jail. |
VenusBetty:If you kill someone accidentally, you are requested to fast and pay a diya. But if the relatives of the person you accidentally killed forgive you, then paying a diya won't become necessary again. But if you kill someone intentionally, then you are also going to be killed according to the laws of Islam. so please don't confuse intention with accident here. Just said I should clear your misconception |
danites3:Of course by countering their extreme mundane messages with the true picture of what Islam preaches. You see, it not that hard I'm a Muslim and I have never read or heard were the holy Quran said seeking knowledge is not good nor I have heard were the Quran/hadith said you should take innocent souls. Murder of any kind is the second biggest sin in islam. To tell you how serious Islam frown at murder, even if you accidentally kill somebody, you are requested to fast for 60 days and pay a diya |
Kill the ideology and get their sponsors. And boko haram will automatically become a thing of past |
Forwetinnah:You missed the point here my friend, obviously you are ignorant of the laws of Islam and the way of life of an average northerner. I can cite many cases of christian girls from the south converting to Islam. Now Islam as a religion has already made it absolutely clear that there is no composure in religion. No one will force to you to accept Islam if you don't want to. And at same time no Muslim has any power to reject somebody that wants to identity himself/herself with Islam. If you were very conversant with the north and Islam per say, you would have observed that many young Christian girls and boys convert to Muslims in their hundreds during Ramadan period. Some of these conversions are sometimes carried on local TVs's tabsir. You see in this scenario, nobody usually forced anybody to convert to Islam but people willingly choose to become Muslims. Islam believes that once a child has reach his/her puberty age, then that child is no longer just a kid. I feel sad as people misunderstood my stand here, I didn't say yunusa is right neither did I vilify yunusa here. All I'm saying here is; the true picture of this saga should be told to the public. And i think we may likely get to the root of the true story with bukarti's involvement. Yunusa might be innocent or guilty at the end of day, but people shouldn't have brought politics, religion and tribalism in the first place. The tenets of islam and sharia law are entirely different from our Nigeria laws, and at the end of the day interpretation of these two laws might clash when the time to give the final verdict comes. Don't forget, Yunusa's only crime in bayelsa was ese's "abduction". I won't like to say anything again because you will never understand me |
Octobertwentysix:Whether she is 3yrs old or 2yrs old, ese has publicly told the entire world that she is 17yrs and she might have told yunusa the same thing. Already ese's statement has indicted her if you care to know. |
ChokolateBoss:The highlighted comment has already given you out as one of these trolls on the cyber world. Go and know the difference between child rights acts and the constitution before you come here and call me ignorant. I don't have any further argument with you. Have a nice day |
peacengine:Funny. Then let's see how ese's lawyers will use these baseless accusations you raise and win the case in court. Mind you, slander, assassination of character and defamation are already involved in this saga. |
Quakertellicus1:Look my friend, this ese/yunusa saga won't have regenerated to this point if reasonable people and junk mainstream media houses didn't bring politics, ethnicity and religion into it. Fortunately they have succeeded in making this two lovebirds story into a politically motivated story, that is; south versus north and Muslims versus Christians. And no matter what anybody will say or think, this is how this case will be viewed by majority of the populace. A pastor recently abducted three school girls(all where minors), nobody knows whether he has carnally known them and nobody seems to care. We didn't hear people call for the pastors head as we heard every jack and Jill calling for yunusa's head. And why is this so? At your second paragraph, may I also remind you that yunusa is an 18 years old teenager who is ignorance (though the law said ignorance is never an excuse) of the law that is not even properly defined? Yunusa didn't murder anybody. His actions and inactions were all base on negligence. The girl in question is even 17yrs. Yes ESE is rightfully 17yrs old because she said it herself. No clarity is needed here whether with her original birth certificate or anything else. She "might have actually told yunusa that she is 17yrs before they eventually elope together |
zicoraads:Look young man, I don't like folks who throw insults at any random cognomen on faceless fora. You would have still pass your own opinion without name callings. That been said. No court of any jurisdiction have found yunusa guilty of the baseless accusations he was been accused of. What I and everybody have been reading online and offline is how yunusa the Muslim boy from the north "kidnapped/abducted" the innocent young christian bayelsa girl called ese from the south. Then I asked you, if this is not disrespect to yunusa's person then what is it? Yunusa has outrightly said he never abducted ESE rather she was the one that willingly followed him to kano. The girl is 14 as you all want everybody to believe. Then why are you not calling for the heads of ese's parents who failed to tell their 14yrs old child that it is very wrong to elope with boys to wherever? Look young man, nobody is a fool and nobody believed the facade that ese's mother told journalists. Like I outrightly said. If you guys think nobody will stand up and speak/fight for yunusa, then you guys must be joking |
Yunusa is innocent of the allegations he has been accused of, and this will always be my stand. Just because yunusa doesn't have access or money to a good lawyer doesn't mean he should be treated with disrespect. A girl of 14yrs WILLINGLY eloped with her lover from bayelsa to kano, and all of a sudden everybody is calling for yunusa's head. It is today in Nigeria that girls of different ages elope with random men to whatever destination? I urge kano elites to get a very good lawyer for yunusa who will battle it out in court with ese's lawyer, her parents and the government of bayelsa state. Ese's parents especially the mother are very wayward. They failed to train their daughter and instead they are looking for young yunusa to blame for their failure. Anybody that heard the narrative of ese's mother will definitely know the woman is hiding the true picture of her daughter's story. I just saw Audu bukarti's( i happen to know the good man personally) name as one of yunusa's representative in court. Fortunately the man is highly intelligent and I trust what he can do. After all is said and done, I will urge bukarti to file a defamatory case against ese's parents because they have already defamed yunusa's character. |
Oma307:There is nothing bad in predicting any event that will likely occur in the future |
The person that might likely be the presidential flag bearer of PDP in 2019 will be; 1• Sule lamido - of course sule lamido has always been a loyal son of the PDP. In rain, in sunshine, in pains and even in merriments, he is always with his party. 2• The current governor of Gombe state, that is; his Excellency Alhaji Ibrahim hassan dankwambo - This man has incredibly did well for Gombe state. His works really speak for him. Gombe state today has best motorable roads in northeastern Nigeria. 3• Atiku Abubakar - This man till date is still nurturing his dreams of becoming the 1st man in Nigeria someday. Currently he is a card carrying member of APC and has vowed never to have anything to do with PDP(his former party). But the question that still remain is; will Atiku's vow supersedes his presidential ambition? 4• Senator Rabiu musa kwankwaso - kwankwaso is an ambitious man and I don't think even his current party the APC can be able to halt his presidential ambition in 2019. I believe that kwankwaso will dump APC and defect to PDP when he feels the time is right, after all politics is all about interests and nothing more. 5• Nuhu Ribadu - the former EFCC boss will likely make a good candidate for PDP. He is still a very strong member of the party and his influence cut across the entire structure of PDP. P.S. The PDP is zoning its 2019 Presidential ticket to the north(NE, NW, NC) and that's the sole reason why other PDP chieftains from the south(SW, SE, SS) are not included/mentioned in this article. This is highly an opinionated piece

kingzizzy:Can you also explain to me the killings of our leaders in cold blood by your young officers in 1966? |
BeClever:I need some clarity about your second paragraph because I don't know where you are driving at. Now I can't just come out and labelled an entire ethnic group as criminals or any other thing just because of the actions or atrocities of some few people among that group. If Nigeria as a country can't find a lasting solution to the dastardly acts of menacing herdsmen and local farmers clash, then something is definitely wrong with the country. So I really don't get it when the entire Fulani ethnic group are condemned/insulted because of the actions of some few herdsmen. Mind you, only a very few percentage of fulanis are nomads today. The large percentage of us are engaged in all sorts of spheres in life, be it education, business, religion activities, etc. I guess you saw were this original op was constantly mentioning usman Dan fodio. So tell me how is it a crime that Dan fodio brought Islam to northern Nigeria which later spread to other parts of Nigeria. Nigeria Christians today didn't wake up and find themselves in Christianity, someone somewhere brought Christianity to Nigeria. So are we to vilify such person for bringing Christianity into Nigeria? Why won't the op separate religion from the people practicing the religion? I bet no religion on this earth promotes violence or killings The op still went ahead to mention ahmadu bello in his senseless article. Who doesn't know that the leaders of the 1st republic were all protecting their people's interest(s). I wont want to say anymore but the original op writes like a kindergarten to be honest |
Hmmm.. Interesting read. But the question still remains; why didn't you start writing this your lengthy articles when you were eating and dinning with the government. Did you just realized that fulanis are a threat to this nation after your benefactor lost his reelection bid? You call yourself an intellect but your write up says otherwise. Who told you Islam came to northern Nigeria about 200 and something years ago? And what do you even know about the diversity of Islam? What do you know about shia Muslims? Or you think every Muslim belong to a particular sect? What do you understand about the tarikas( khadiriyas and tijjaniyas), or the izalas and the rest of them since you claimed to know north more than the northerners? I'm so sorry but what I read in this man's article is nothing but fear, fear and nothing but fear. The question to you Mr op is; what are you afraid of? Who are you afraid of and what is the reason behind your fear? I'm a Fulani man, and I still don't know or see any agenda by any Fulani person to recolonise some people again. If your article was solely written because of the dastardly acts of some foolish herdsmen, then you really need to get your warped mind out of your behind. There are hooligans and hoodlums in every tribe, our own hooligans are the herdsmen who kill at any little provocation. And these herdsmen are constantly been condemned by my people and our emirs. You just mentioned kaita and attributed a statement to him that he made during the previous administration, so how are you any different from the kaitas of this world? Look fulanis are peaceful people and brave, one thing that doesn't flow in our veins is cowardice. Stop pushing your luck chief, I hope you will be able to stand on your two legs when the heat is turn on you. |
