The hypocritical twist that this entire saga took is my main problem with the whole issue. Everybody wants us to believe that the said girl(ese) is the innocent one here and yunusa is the villian. Why are people not talking about ese's parents and the type of training they gave their daughter? Is it today that young girls started running away with their supposed man friends? There was even this issue of one certain Facebook girl that went viral in Nigeria, and at the end of everything, the girl lost her precious life and we didn't see or hear people insulting Christians/christianity or even the tribe of the culprits. And Why are people covering the real age of the supposed "culprit" (yunusa)? Why are we not told the other side of the story? Yunusa might even be the innocent one if it happens that the ese of a girl lead him on, telling him to take her to his home state(people shouldn't dismiss the possibility that ese thought yunusa has some blood relationship with the emir and so she decided to run to kano with him) For one to have a free-sentimental view of this entire story, then we need to know the real story and not some one sided, distorted, baseless and unimaginative story of a young Muslim boy from the north kidnapping a "holy young Christian" from the south. Hypocrisy in this country stinks to high heavens. You see people insulting Islam over what is a norm in the suppose "holy south" were a girl leaves her parents home to be with her man friend even when she is 14yrs. The funny thing about the people insulting Islam is that they are dirty people doing all sorts of dirty and abominable things. How can a sane man "abduct" a supposed sane girl from beyelsa to kano without her full consent? Does it even make any sense? So yunusa forced the girl into a cab all the way from bayelsa to kano without facing any resistance from her or without anybody noticing? This is not good. The government shouldn't drain the already dry masses who are swimming in poverty through these bogus taxes. The government should focus on developing its unemployed youths by granting loans to them, which they will be able to pay at the end of the day. Nigeria is not europe please where bogus taxes is the order of the day. And secondly, the government should do something about banks interest rate. Nigeria is like the country with the highest interest rate in world. How will a country work with that kind of interest rate( it is 25%/20%). We need to be serious in this country. The government of the day shouldn't put all its focus on corruption. |

I think Nigerian soldiers should stop killing innocent civilians without any just cause. YES am a muslim and many a times, i find the whole shiite thing a little bit strange, and i couldnt even wrapped my head to their ways of life and believe. Like what they said about sa'id na Ali [ a.s] and other stuffs they normally say about the holy prophet. But they shiite are very peaceful to some extend. Whatever rituals they do is usually done among themselves and only themselves, most of the times, we that are not shiites normally turn to spectators whenever one of their 'islamic rituals' is taking place. Over the years I have come to realized that this forum is anti-northern forum were every lie and half truths are said about the good people of northern Nigeria. I'm not trained to say lies and spread hate against any group of persons but am very certain that many people have a date with the truth someday. The north is not a monster or a ghost, so I really find it worrisome when people exhibit their northernphobia all over this forum. We are the most accommodating and hospitable people in Nigeria, the number of southerners doing their businesses freely and acquiring enormous lands in our region can clearly show how accommodative we are. I think the owner of this forum, Mr seun have to do something about the northernerphobia threads that are flying around in this site. Sane northerners like myself don't really feel comfortable with all the lies about northerners that is daily been cooked up here. 5 Likes |

The president has made the defeat of boko haram as his number one priority, we as nigerians should be happy about that and not trying to find fault were there is none. Former president goodluck jonathan also did his best to bring the menace to a halt even though his efforts came rather late. As a northerner that I am, I support whatever that will bring an end to boko haram and also bring peace, unity and development to my region because boko haram have really terrorized the people of northeast(especially borno residents) May God almighty bless us all, good morning. 1 Like |

fighting boko haram is not a genuine reason for postponing the awaited elections. My instinct tells me two things which I will kindly share with you. And the are: 1. The government wants to cut an entire region out from participating in the election which I strongly believe is NE. By doing so, a stronghold of the opposition has been rendered useless. The ruling party tactically allowed the boko haram menace to escalate so that they can use that as an excuse incase of any raining days. A very dangerous and wicked move if you ask me. Thousands of Nigerians lives have been wasted because of one man's ambition. 2. They ruling party will either find ways/means to get buhari disqualified or get the inec chairman replaced by someone who will dance to their tunes. As a northerner that I am, I will say am a little bit happy with this development because it clearly shows the entire country who are they real power drunks. all this character assasination on the person of buhari wont stop the average nigerian who doesnt have access to the net from voting for buhari. The ruling party should tell Nigerians why they think they deserve another four years instead of employing internet thugs to carry out their dirty work. Eustachio:mambea is a good actress and I will say it a thousand times. Mambea is playing all the good girl script because she really loves tayo from day one. But her game was messed up when she saw that tayo is not that into her. She was left with no option than to continue the "all good girl" script she started. Mambea came into that house so that a big fish in the house or outside the house will spot her, and eventually fall for her. In summary, mambea came into that house to look for love. some people are saying that tayo is not winning the grand prize because of the "one africa" award he got last night. But that's total _bullshit, every one knows that tayo deserves the grand prize. The lad has been real from day one. We saw him cry, we saw laugh, we saw him fight and we saw him exhibit all the characters that a normal human being possesses. Macky2 was playing a script from day one.we clearly saw what happened when leonel poured some juice on macky2, a normal human being would have given leonel a dirty slap or some kinda fight would have erupted between them but our fake macky2 was very chilled(who _fucking does that) They other housemates are just so fake that I don't even want to say anything about em. Jj the fakest of all and the most annoying housemate in the house. Nhanha fake Mambae a very good actress in the house, she has been acting for the cameras from day one Idris is not that fake but the lad is too childish and very local( don't have anything against him, he's a nice guy though) Butterphy is just there, she is inbtw fake and real Who again? idris is not winning any sh!t, that am very sure of. The young man will definately secure three countries vote that am very sure of. Tayo has three votes lock down which are 1. Nigeria 2. Roa 3. Rwanda Now Nigeria vote is very crucial to him when there is a tier between tayo/idris or tayo/macky. There is no two way about it, roa votes will always go to tayo considering the numbers of nigerians that are in other africa countries and the efforts of many Nigerians that are voting for him using the roa routes. I myself is voting for tayo only on ROA routes, he's gonna get the Nigeria votes so I don't see why I shd waste my votes for him using the Nigeria route(ps. Am not discouraging folks that are voting for him using the Nigeria route). And also not forgetting other countries under ROA that are voting for him. Rwanda will vote for tayo no matter what, these people still haven't forgotten the great role that Nigeria played when their nation was in civil war. Remember nigeria never voted for frankie but they still choose to vote for tayo over their ugandan sister(ellah). Now mozambique is the country am praying and hoping that their votes fall under tayo, those southies are something else I don't trust em' for one second. They said they are voting for tayo but they can be voting for another southy like em(no offense intended at the southies that are here) This is the year a Nigerian get the money that is given out by Nigeria. We don try for em' now. Last year we dash the money to dillish. Last last year we dash the money to another country. funny. Like a week ago when tayo had a little misunderstanding with the botswana girl, I was kinda pissed off at him and even made some silly comments about him on this thread. But hey I find myself voting for him so hard this week, am burning my airtime on the lad as if he is my brother. I still don't know how tayo manage to play with my emotions like this though.
