HilCrown, do you have the saloon or hatchback version of this primera? |
flexshop: I'm thinking the entire story is non fiction. It looks like an autobiography to meOn behalf of the OP, Thank you soo much for that. Lol. It's a compliment! |
Wonderful. Just wonderful. & it felt soo real as well. Thumbs up. Thank God i didnt have to endure the suspense tho ![]() |

Please send location for inspection to realrazak4u at yahoo dot com . Thanks. |
EOD means 2003 - 2005 Honda Accord. you have mainly 3 trim levels. the LX, EX, EX-V6 LX = base model. Usually has wheel covers and not alloy wheels (except owner fits after-market wheels). fabric seats. No steering controls. The audio player display is like the screen of non-colour screen phones. May be manual or auto transmission. Cheapest specs of EOD available. EX = May be fabric or leather interior. Usually has controls on steering wheel(audio volume, cruise control. 2.4litre 4 cylinder engine. 5 spokes beautiful factory shiny alloy wheels (except if changed by previous owner). may contain or not contain navigation screen. May be manual (not so common) or auto transmission. EX-V6 = All features of EX above except that the factory alloy wheels has many spokes. The engine is a 3.0 litre V6. Then it has two exhaust pipes at each end below the rear bumper. FYI, No visible difference between 2003 and 2004. 2003 auto trans is prone to developing more faults tho, especially on the v6 models. diff between 2003/04 and 2005 is that while the rear lights of the former are almost uniformly divided into red and white, the 2005 rear lights are all red with a little white box (note that the lights can be interchanged tho as they are exactly the same size. Also the 2005 EX-V6 has difft wheels from the 03/04 EX-V6 My advice : If you are going for auto trans, then avoid 2003. Get price quotes for each of the model specs and work with your budget. Were i to buy an EOD tho, i'll rather go for a 2.4 litre 4 cylinder EX Manual transmission (manual is rare tho especially on EX spec. auto is most common). That's because I love manual transmission & aside from no auto trans wahala, I've driven that exact spec a couple of times & mehn, that car is SWEET and FAST. |

Location for inspection? & what needs fixing? |
ogugua88: Some people study and fail. Some people don't study and succeed, comme moi! Lol.*Throws hands up in the air in despair* Ogugua eh, to every rule, there'll always be exceptions. But the rules just have to be in place. Yes, we do not know how well Monalisa Chinda trains her daughter, but what we see here is a young girl of maybe 8 or 9 wearing bum shorts to an event. It is not proper! That's it! & you know it. Yes you do, you do you do ![]() I say something sometimes when i'm faced with issues like this & enaging intelligent people in discussions. I'll repeat it here put simply: You can give a thousand reasons to justify a bad decision/action but that will NEVER make it right. & you may have just one reason to justify a good decision/action, but that will NEVER make it wrong. |
ogugua88: Covering her doesn't guarantee she'll be decent or responsible either. But at least it's an effort. Studying doesn't mean you'll pass exams. Afterall, some study hard and still fail. But would you rather not study or encourage a friend or fam not to study & go ahead to sit for an exam simply relying on little or no residual knowledge? No. |
slimyem: Thank you sir...especially for the part in bolded.hehehehe..I'm not a sir o. I'm fairly certain you are older than I am.lol. New generation parents really have a lot of work to do & sadly, they (few years time, we) don't seem to realise this. Rather, a good number of them are getting all laid back in the name of being ''progressive'' or ''liberal'' or whatever. Our age old value system in Africa is a thing we must hold dear. I'm proud when I see well educated and exposed parents who still train their kids properly & refuse to tolerate some forms of rubbish from them, yet without necessarily being too strict or harsh. Even on NL, with the kind of comments some people post, its not too hard to figure out the kind of upbringing they had & the kind of parents they'll become. My parents, especially my dad are strict (probably more strict than I'll be) but now I'm beginning to see with my own eyes what has become of some of those kids (cousins and friends) whose parents decided to adopt the liberal, laid back ''do what you like'' ''s/he's still young'' approach in raising them. & I know which one to go for if I wish to have peace of mind in my old age & not blame myself for having contributed to societal and moral decadence. |
palugy colina: come on folks...she is but a small girl..There are lots of 'mad' people in Nigeria. I assume you haven't been listening to the News. Have you? Hope you read Tpia's comment below yours. |
freecocoa: Most of the people on this thread are plain mad, I guess you ret*rds also complain about being inappropriately dressed when you see babies in nothing but diapers.Ok. Well, comment poster is Freecocoa therefore me not surprised at comment. Happy New year ![]() |
ogugua88: It's a red carpet event. If it was my daughter, then she wouldn't be wearing denim lol.@bolded, then there is indeed a problem with the shorts. *in Darth Vader's voice* Admit it ![]() If the kid has to wear those shorts at all, it should be within the four walls of her house & she should be made to understand that its NOT appropriate to wear for outings. |
masterpiecer: Ogugua, y u dey contradicting urselfShe's 'fragainst' . She was actually being sarcastic with her last post.lol |
ogugua88: Please o, while we're at it, calculate the girl's age, height, and the appropriate length of shorts she should be wearing. Do not give me general "at her knees" length o. Be specific so this ashi-in-the-making no eff up again. 7.25-inch shorts? 9.82-inches? Make I know na. I have a junior sis myself. Don't want her going out with 8.629-inch shorts when the appropriate length for her age and height is actually 9.01-inches.Hehehe.. the force Seriously, you know the bolded is just right for a girl her age. & somehow, i have a feling your parents will not allow your baby sister to dress this way to an event. Infact, I somehow doubt you'll allow your own child to dress the same way. Infact, lemme ask. Ogugua88, You don't consider this dressing indecent right? Would you allow your child to dress this way to an event? ![]() & C'mon, Nigeria is not that hot. The event was probably held in an air-conditioned hall anyways, and I'm fairly certain her mum's car has an air-conditioning system in good working condition. So in actual fact, the poor cute little girl might actually be feeling cold.lol |
INNO18: For me i never Knew IGBOS and YORUBAS could engage in such Acrimony till i joined Nld mid this year. Here in Sokoto where i reside more often than not Igbos and Yorubas team up against Hausas whenever the need arises. My best friend here is a yoruba guy from Kwara(Sunday Adejumo). I just hope the tribal bigots dont carry this attitude into the new Year. Peace be unto allAAMEN. Later some people who haven't set foot in Nigeria in the last 25 years will come out and say that the way tribalism is being displayed on NL is the same way it happens outside.Lol. |
INNO18: lol, you cant be serious, arent you a Heteo.rosexual?Ermm, I Mods abeg no vex biko. @Topic, I've always been a strong advocate for shunning tribal and religious bigotry and I'm happy to see this kinda thread. My take is: - We are all one and the same. the differences between us, when looked at critically, are actually quite not as much as we think they are. - We have good people, criminals, philantropists, looters, briliant people, illiterates, e.t.c in EACH and EVERY ETHNIC GROUP. - The people who have contributed positively to Nigeria are present in all ethnic groups. - The people who have continously milked our commonwealth are present in all the major (& major minor) ethnic groups. - Tribalism and bigotry have never provided a solution to our problems, rather the decay keeps getting worse. - Igbos, yorubas, hausas & ijaws are present in almost every state in this coun try. - Contrary to what many think, i believe Nigeria is better as it now than if divided. - To make Nigeria better, we must all join hands and co-operate to chase out/install unjust/just leaders in 2015. - Let us not fall for the "divide and rule" tactics our politicians use to entrench themselves or their cronies in power. - In analysing and commenting on issues here and outside nairaland, let us be fair, truthful and objective. |
oluwalexxy: mehn u guys r daft..debatin on d short she wore? Kai dis lil girl...mehn u quys beta upgrade ur primitive brainz..how is d wearn of bumshort by dis lil girl inapropriate? Sum village ppl eh...na wah!So dressing decently is now being considered primitive & you wonder why the society is getting more corrupt. Do you have kids? She's a li'l girl yes but to paedophiles, she's NOT. Wouldn't you rather protect your kids by having them dress up decently than allow them to start exposing their thighs at such an early age She could have still worn a decent skirt and or at most a pair of jeans pants and she wouldn't have looked any less beautiful!& FYI, check your history books & watch movies set in old times/ some jungles in olden days Africa and India, the real primitive and barbaric people wore little or no clothes. The civilized people actually covered their bodies with clothes. So ask yourself again who is actually primitive. |
chiswaggs: if she wears bum shorts @ this age what will she wear when shez 20? See how much of her legs are being exposed. This is INDECENT. For crying out loud we are NOT abroad. And to think that its her mum that bought the short for her is a cause of concern.& to think that some people see nothing wrong in it is an even bigger cause for concern! yet these same people will scream about societal decay and its attendant problems forgetting that the society starts from individual homes. No matter the level of "exposure" or "civilization", we must NEVER compromise on certain values ESPECIALLY when dealing with children. PROPER dressing is one of them. What is bad is bad. Let's shun the hypocrisy and condemn it if we know we really want the society to improve. Simple! |
Wouldn't bum shorts be even more inappropriate on a teenager or a woman? I see nothing wrong with an innocent child, with no ulterior motives, wearing what she's wearing.
You have a point. however since we do not want her wearing bum shorts(or something worse) as a teen, why allow/encourage her to wear it now? That's my point. The simple truth is most young parents today are shirking their responsibilities of inculcating certain values in their children. How do you preach to this child to "dress the way you want to be addressed" when you are already acting in contrary to this important principle?? A time will come when the greatest challenge people will face will be how to raise good children. Wearing bum shorts at this (any)age to an event is improper and I'm quite sorry to say, doesn't portray the kid's parent in glowing light at all. What happened to decent clothes in stores ? have they gone extinct? Instead of us to condemn things like this now, we'll rather see nothing wrong in it, then scream to the high heavens and write long epistles when the outcome of our lackadaisical attitude stares us in the face. Our own parents who ensured (sometimes enforced) proper dressing, good manners, kindness e.t.c. right from when we were young knew exactly what they were doing. if we cannot be better parents, at least let's not be worse parents all in the name of giving a kid "freedom" or going for what is "popular" or "trendy". |
Bum shorts on a pre-teen girl to an event not held at the beach! ![]() freecocoa: Small time now some people will come here and start shouting about her dressing being inappropriate and how it will lead to her getting molested.Lol. She's indeed very cute. But ermm.... lets be frank. Is her dressing not indeed inappropriate? Of course we know it's not her fault tho as its very likely her mum who bought the shorts for her in the first place anyway and felt it was very suitable for her to wear that to an event . |
Ishilove: *singing in Enrique's voice*Now that's a new one.lol. You are on his friends list already? Good you can continue from there. ![]() |

Ishilove: And why will ladies flock to him in droves?? Yeah so he is rich, yeah so he is very attractive, o yeah he's intelligent, but are those criterias for a happy and successful relationship??Ermmm..... maybe not the only criteria for a successful relationship but enough for ladies to, yeah, flock towards him in droves. Actually, you went too far, Rich + attractive (even without very) + good sense of humor + NL CEO is enough.lolseems even I went too far as well.lol |
tny60: Seun can get away with things like that. He owns the websiteVery true! lol. I can imagine him smiling behind his laptop clicking on 'hide post'. ![]() |
Verdict: Seun hosted/attended a x-mas party this evening and is currently dosed on some -heavily laden with alcohol- punch. In essence, he's high.lol. Had to check the user name again to be sure he was the one who typed this Seun: Actually, I'm as straight as a happy joystick. If you had access to certain folders on my computer, you would have no doubt about this.Seun, I think you need to do this more often - ENTERTAIN US! You are very creative (obviously) & you seem to me as someone who's really humorous but hardly shows it. We want to see that side of you! [s]But when the ladies start flocking towards you in droves, dont blame me o[/s] ![]() |
LogicSense: after perusing this write up and its supporters',i discovered the following:Dude, you hit the nail right on the head. The fact that a thread had to be created on the issue tells a lot. Yes we have wayward muslim girls, but there's no doubt that a good number of the well trained (morally/islamically & formal education wise) are not your easy everyday girls on the street. Truth is while many xtians mock / insult muslims, they secretly envy them. Recently heard someone commenting on muslim festivals versus xtian festivals. He noted that while ALL muslim festivals more or less MANDATE giving to the less privileged so they can also celebrate, the xtian festivals dont have such laid down prescriptions (maybe partly because neither Jesus Christ nor God Himself instituted or endorsed the celebrations! He also noted that if the islamic principle of zakat (compulsory giving of a percentage of one's wealth to the poor) is strictly followed by muslims and emulated by others, there will be no need for any poverty alleviation programme. So those of you taking swipes at Islam, please continue. You are doing us a favor ![]() Apologies for derailing (if i did). & yes, there are also some very decent and serious -minded christian girls that you can't 'get' easily as well. It's all about how well trained a girl is & her ability to detect and differentiate between serious good ntentions and rubbish intentions disguised with a fake mask of seriousness. |
Dude. This is a serious thing you are insinuating here. Do you live in Gov. Wada's father's house? I appeal to the mods not to move this to the front page till it has been CONFIRMED. Nairaland must not become a dumping ground for beer parlour gossip (my apologies if the story is true). |
Boss, please kindly help with this: 1NXBR32E65Z500328 Thanks |
That SUV with ugly wheels and too much plastic inside powered by a 1.6 litre engine. 1.6!!!!!! No thank you, me no like. Not surprised to read the not so nice reviews above. Even tho, well, I hope the users took care of the cars properly before calling them bad. But its arguably the cheapest brand new SUV (excluding those chinese things) sold in Nigeria so the high ground clearance is an attractive factor for mid income earners living in areas with terrible roads. But the SUV is just too underpowered IMO. I'll rather go for a toks 2007 Rav4 or earlier year Highlander or save more money and opt for maybe a brand Suzuki Grand Vitara instead |
