Islam › Re: Sheikh Ajah On Persecution Of Igbo Muslims: We Are Igbos Before Becoming Muslims by Fiscus105(m): 2:50pm On May 20, 2021
Nothing in the article remotely suggest persecution or denial of religious freedom. This looks like a govt sponsored article that is being repeated on front-page.

Igbos freely call themselves names on daily basis. Pentecostals are usually called ndi "uka akuluma aka" meaning a church of 'over clapping' people, sabatharians or Jews are mocked for always offering sacrifices along the road and even lot of nollywood movies show Catholic church in bad light.

The worst hit are traditional Igbos which some people including Northern Muslims call idol worshippers. Infact some people just get up and burn idol regarded as people's place of worship but nobody complains about it.

I have never seen the so called Igbo muslims but If you wear hijab and you're called a masquerade in Igboland, it's normal. Swallow it! You can't bully a society into treating you specially.

Finally, this is a propaganda article. Those interviewed may not have taken it harshly and may be unaware that their reactions are being use for political goals.
racism and bigotry are enshrined in the article above, as I always say whenever this type of article comes out against Islam, I will also say it here, religion is personal, everyone is supposed to worship whatever pleases him or her without form of prejudice or racism

in as much we biliv religion takes one soul to his creator, one shouldn't bother about someone who choose to go to Devil in hell

you re a novice a second term governor has nothing to loose. Ayade with Federal might will be too much to handle in 2023. His revenge will be sweet in 2023 cos he now has a daddy in aso rock that will provide the federal might.
if you are not complete novice, you will not know that he has so many to loose, ask urself why his jittery for loosing political structure as a sitting gov.

if he doesn't has anything to loose why crossing to the party that people lost confident in it already.

You guys dont know politics...one bit... grin grin grin

PDP just dashed Cross River to the APC..you don't understand the power of an Executive Governor With Federal Support during an election...
DNT forget he won't be a contender by 2023 and by then every politicians will be fighting for their political survival individually, nobody will have chance and time to support anybody jointly, unlike Ondo, Edo, Osun etc that their years of elections differ

Ayade own is compounded by not having grounded apc in cross river state

I will advice any single mother with grown up girls, to keep her daughter at distance with any man is going out with, it's totally not advisable for grown up daughter staying in same room/flat with unrelated men.

some distance relatives can also do an unthinkable.

When Saraki was doing the needful for naija not to go aground, you guys were saying, Saraki was the one causing problem for bubu, that was reason for his non performance, now Buhari together with his rubber stamp Lawal will completely run naija down before 2023.

As how? Does it mean she should keep encouraging her. She did what was morally right. Advicing a friend when she isn't doing something right isn't a bad thing and let's not make it look like she was intruding. If I see my friend not doing a thing right, I will tell him. If that will cease you from been my friend, then, so be it. Let's stop encouraging and romancing evil. It's disgusting
she came here that she adviced and she got sack and you think that is exactly what happened, oga, there are a lot of underlying issue that resulted to her sack

Yes! No, actually, fr, yes. Yes. It is the value you place on yourself that determines how you will dress, so obviously those suicide bombers and pantless sistuhs in ground-sweeping hijabs that are quick to lift for the do all love their bodies and are faithfully living according to the tenets of their religion.
the same thing goes for the girl in 2nd pic, it's not all those who wear such dress that are promiscuous.

we shouldn't judge a book by its cover sir.

it's time Islam should start worshipping God as spirit being and not as physical, and that religions are personal and not collective engagement as being portraited .
Family › Re: In A Marriage, Responsibilities Should Be 50/50 by Fiscus105(m):
daylay7:
I was wondering why we were raised to be a provider in a marriage. Responsibility should be shared 50/50 but here in this part of the world, it is the man that must provide everything. I was speaking with a woman the other day and she told me out-rightly that it is the responsibility of the man to pay all the bills. I feel if I'm paying the house rent, my woman should be able to pay the children school fees. But No, it is the man's responsibility here. I don't think it is like that in Europe.
So, why can't we imbibe the European culture? It was on the app that a woman built two houses from her earned money without her husband knowing and yet, he pays all the bills including the womans' need and many more.
Why can't we share the bills in a union/marriage? Is it fair enough for the man to carry all these burdens?
for you to sit down and be controlling grown up adult like you, I think it must come with a price sir, not only in marriage in every human endeavors.

for you to completely remove someone patriarch name and put ur own there for life, there must be pain you too must go through.

for someone to go through pains of labour severally and in which the products of such pains will bear your name for life, I think you must take some responsibilities bigger than ur partner.

you guy should endeavors to balance ur opinions before you release stupidity to the public forum. what you uttered can be used to conclude the type of person you are.

meanwhile let's go to European nations you ignorantly mentioned. Oga who told you men are not taking huge responsibilities far more than wife?

haven't you heard of man who was ejected from his own house for woman and children to leave comfortably even after divorce?

Jazzman01:
Having a roommate is like getting married. You will never know the true character of someone until you live with him/her.

During my university days, I had a nasty experience with the first roommate I had. So I took my time to study a particular guy for one year, he was very nice and caring or so I thought. After our rent elapsed, I relocated to another place with this new guy. Lol and behold, our relationship didn't last for 1 month. Infact he was worse than my previous roommate. I had to endure for the remaining 11 months! This was a guy I studied for 1 year and couldn't detect his bad sides until we lived together and he revealed it under 1 month.

After that experience, I decided never to have anything to do with roommates again. I started living alone and I was able to concentrate fully on my studies without distraction.
that's reality of life, more reason why marriages collapsing, you can never know exact personality of others until you live together under one roof ,I mean staying together in same room.
