Modified: Ran a quick check on AliExpress using the picture u sent and what I found is a 10A 12v/24v mini charger. Is this what charges Ur battery? And if so how long does it take to charge? Sorry for the plenty questions

Yes I guess that is it, I am not sure about the 10a. Although I switched it to the 24v instead of the 12v. It takes almost 30mins to 1hr at times with the super charger, depending on how low the batteries are. It shows full and makes a noise to indicate it is completely charged.

I had to remove the cover and the super charger from the electric port.
If it makes sense to you. I am not the installer though.

Brand of batteries - I use four 200ah Genos batteries.

Yes it is true inverters have inbuilt charger, but in most cases, they never charge it well. Most times your batteries go low and to bring it back up with normal inbuilt charger is not attainable.

Haven't you heard of cases where the inverter batteries seller will tell you they need to supercharge your batteries so that it can attain back it optimal use ?

Although most of them will just tell you, your batteries are dead or bad. Lol They probably supercharge it or resell it sha.

And by the way, the supercharger is connected with the inverter and the batteries directly. It is not separate.

It's not the inverter but your load. My average load is about 170w from 6pm to 7am and that cost me about 120A of battery bank storage.

By your 2.5kva inverter, it should be a 24v 400ah. it still not adding up to your stated time.

Ok mine works fine for me. You should probably charge yours well or change the batteries. Or use a super charger to boost or charge your batteries.

So you have 8 200Ah batteries ran in 2s4p since your inverter is 24v? Or are you using a 12v inverter? In both scenario unless your load is 50w it won't last (24hrs X 7 days). I think the times you are away (assuming you are not using your inverter during that period) should not be counted. Enjoy!

Ok I guess the time am away. But still, I run it overnight from 7pm to 7:30 am during the power shortage that lasted for almost a week and had no problem.

Well it works well for me. I still can't believe that an inverter can't last more than 48hrs or 72hrs if well charged .

Can you clarify how many hours you run daily before folks start getting motivated on 400a setup that lasts half a month.

Oga na 800ah battery on a 2.3kva microtek before was 2.5kva mercury and trust me mine last for almost a week to two weeks without light.

Or may because I run it overnight and am out next morning. But there was a time when there was no light for a week or more. I never still had issues

If your batteries doesn't last more that 24-48 hours then you have a bad battery or your inverter dey drain light .

I don't carry much like I specified earlier. Mainly lighting port and socket . My air coolant is not on all the time and my TV nor laptop too.

There are no disadvantage really. But normally a 2.3 or 2.5kva should use two 200ah 24v battery. Some people still use two 100 ah battery but it won't last long as much as a two 200ah.

For me I use four 200ah batteries. The inverter installer interlooped the first two batteries ontop in series, then the second two batteries below in series then paralleled them altogether. That means it charges them two by two. I now still connected it to a super charger ( though it is not really necessary). But I always supercharge it once in a while to maintain the battery from ever going low.

I hope you understand or this make sense to you. Mine last for minimum 10-14 days without NEPA. Cause I don't use it for fridge or Ac or pumping machine. My total load is not even up to 400w or 500w ( few bulbs, laptop, TV, game, air coolant (once a while),phone charger ) that is all.
And most time all my appliances are not on at the same time.

My next plan is to get DC appliances, I heard that is the next way to enjoy electricity if one wants to live an OFFGRID life in Naija.

Microtek 2.3kva inverter is awesome. I will advice you use it with a 200ah battery (at least 4 batteries).

You won't regret it. From experience I was using a 2.5kva mercury modified wave inverter before.
Mercury inverter is good if you want cheap modified inverter, I had to add a super charger to charge it faster.

But microtek is a better because it is pure sine wave, it doesn't spoil if there is a power surge unlike mercury. It charges faster too. Most people aren't aware because of the brand name.

Yes I have. My partner was too emotional had needed my 100% attention. He gets angry and nags at the slightest thing, he calls like 10 times a day. I just reread this story and realise it wasn't toxic. He was just obsessed and insecured. But trust me you need a man like that though.

Once a guy doesn't call or check up on you and he is not insecure about you. Trust me he doesn't genuinely care. He probably sees you as one of them. If he really cares , his mind will not be balance until he hears your voice. Although I won't recommend any guy to follow this part, as you can see, she didn't appreciate him.

But apparently you need the heartless one. The one you will be chasing and will be forming busy. The one that will not give you attention. The one that will emotionally mess you up and eventually destroy your career. The one that once he is done with you , your thinking faculty and life will never be the same. The one that will confuse you with his mind games. The one that will abuse you sexually all in the name of forming fifty shades of grey movie scene abi. The one that will give you emotional truama. The one that will make you feel you need to do more whereas you are ok. The one that will always put you on your toes.

This is what I recommend for you guys to be. And I can guarantee you girls love guys like this. The Alpha or fake Alpha wanna be. This is the kind of guys some ladies want.

Wait for it my dear. You will soon get it. They are plenty out there nowadays since they are awoke. By the time they are done with you and have taken your prime years away. You will end up in Shiloh searching for Mr right you initially had.

This is why I didn't feel any pity for them.

They don't care about their citizens. It is always about them first. This simple act proves that even if their was a cure that would cost millions, they will always treat themselves first. No sense of patriotism in our so called leaders.

In civilised countries your people/citizen comes first. You fumigate the street or schools or hospital first. This should have been the second measure after closing all the borders first.

Now for the redpillers ( Alpha, Sigma, MGTOW, purple pill brothers). I have noticed some people just want to be in the plantation. They also want others to be with them. They self inflict misery in themselves and can not take the truth. That is why I personally watch people in their so called blissful misery and just walk away. I let them learn the hardway cause experience is the best teacher.

Infact I prefer to take advantage of the knowledge I gained and use it on them. Cause even when you try to enlighten them, you still end up getting shamed with shaming language.

Now I try much as possible not to tell them how to act cause just like the OP's point . Although it hard cause in the process of passing the message it actually seems as if I am insinuating them on how to act.
