@all,I have spoken with all the parties involved and it will be settled soon
I have known Mr Gbenga for years on this platform and have be following him
I am surprised by what I am seeing hear.
He is a guy of integrity and reasonable
I have done cassava with him some years back and presently have plantain farm with him.
OP should have visited the farm to know the progress of his farm by sitting down at home and expecting money
I visit my farm every 2 weeks under his supervision.
I am aware that fire ravage their farm last year
NOTE: I am not supporting lesgupnigeria neither his spokeperson because he has his fault but my this is my personal relationship with him
w

Let him show proof of the fire and animal ravaged farm sir!!!!

By just saying it and not backing it up with evidence foes not hold water, and more so why did he not inform the OP of this calamitous situation as it happened so as to give him some comfort on his proven intergrity as a way of placating this distrust ensuing between both parties.

My humble opinion

2015 I told him he is a scam wit the ridiculous figures he was attracting investors with.

Its all on nairaland here

I have done cassava project and failed
I have relate with so many people that commuted millions and failed

So I know he was lying.

After that, I was invited to a WhatsApp group where he was trying to dupe a woman that invested.

He told the woman cows ate her farm when the woman want to visit the farm.

The woman's anger was that you have been telling me everything was fine until the last minute when I said I am coming to check.

He threatened the woman when the woman said he will write it on nairaland.

A friend intervened and possibly because he was still collecting money from people he quickly volunteered to pay back the woman's money.

So the case got buried.

Guys like these need to be dealt with and possibly reported to The law enforcement agency to pursue this case further as this trend seems to me lie the guy is operating a "PONZI SCHEME IN FARMING "

How can you sell a business idea proposal to an investor and not do a risk analysis annexure to the whole proposal so that the person would be able to find ways to mitigate occurrences of such risk, all of a sudden he came up with the story of farm was gutted by fire, animals ravaged the farm and ate the crops .

It's all a well hatched plan to deceive and defraud the OP taking into account the distance to the farm

Thank you.
He is a good writer.
He know how to write epistle

In the process of writing his disjointed epistle he exposed himself to those who can read between the lines to pick out his flaws and coated lies to deceive the OP without tenable proof of the fire incidence and animal that ravage the farm stock

What a pathetic lier!!!

@all. I have reached out to all parties involved via phone. We spoke extensively on this.

Mr kayode is not on whassap where I would have invited him into a group chat with other persons to mediate and resolve it once and for all.

Mr Gbenga is assuring the OP of the genuineness of his cassava farm and is inviting him to come and see the farmland. A new cassava field was replanted this year for the Op and so only if the Op visits the farmland will any meaningful solution be found to this.

I'm not Mr Gbenga 's P.R but I just felt I should help settle the issues raised.

Kindly help persuade the Op to find time to visit. And to others who are interested in farming, alway remember this; "oloko ni oko nbere" meaning the farm always long to see the owner, your presence is very vital to achieve success.

@boldes refers we should persuade the Op To find time to visit farm ? That farm manager is a fraud, he has sold the yield accrued to the OP for that period and pocketed the money, he is trying to save face by saying the OP should wait for the new once he just planted to mature before he can get another profit.
So disheartening !!!

Lesgupnigeria:
Thanks @ pavore9 for bringing my attention to this.
Mr foluso contacted me last year that he wanted to venture into cassava farming that I should advice him although we have had business relationship prior to last year ( we sold some acres of farmland to him).
When he told me about his idea of wanting to venture into cassava farming last year and will like us to oversee the cassava farm.

I said ok, we can set it up,oversee it and link you with the sellers with your representative/yourself on ground at least once in a bluemoon during the growing stage and then at the time of selling the cassava for transparency sake.

About 3 months into the cassava planting,we had fire incidence on our farm that consume about half of our cassava farm including his farm and some other clients farm.
I informed every cassava farm owners, and some of the challenges of small animals invading the cassava farm.Thankfully we were able to put it under control but not without some losses of acres of cassava which we wanted to replant but because of the dry season, we could not.

In order to recover for the losses, early this year (April/May),we had to start replanting those lost acres so that we can be able to meet our target which we did successfully.
Around July I started receiving calls practically almost every hour, to sell off his cassava and return the proceed to him.
How would I sell immature cassava or how would I use 25tons of truck transport 10tons or less worth of cassava?A lot of questions keep racing through my mind.

With so much pressure after some months,I finally succumb and have to sell some of our cassava with his own with the proceed sent into his account.
We presently have some of his planted and not-yet-mature cassava on our farm

Immediately after he acknowledge the 100k of the proceed paid into his account,he keep telling me I cheated him,and he will deal with me and that I will not survive this.
Even though I call and send SMS to explain things to him but he will it give me a listening ear.
I guess this is one of his strategy to paime me in a bad light?
He started sending life threatening message to me,I decided not to pick his call.I am still seeking advice on next steps to take
I think this is beyond business,Even if you have any personal issue with me,its something that you can discuss with me than trying to assassinate my character

From your flimsy explanation my inference is that you seem not to be a trust worthy person,my questions to you are as follows

1.in the process of carrying out the business feasibility did you at any time do a risk analysis report for your client ??

2.You claimed the produce got burnt by fire in the farm, can you produce pictures of the burnt farm, cassava stem and tubers damaged by the fire.

3.On the day you noticed the fire incident did you call him to inform him of it, or its just after you paid in the N100,000.00 to his account that you told him of the fire incident.

You are not straight in your dealings

This is a very good development, that is hopefully an indication of how the wasted and pointless life of Mr. Maajale will be terminated by his own people one fine day, and with extreme prejudice.

In a country where vast numbers of voters have no idea where their next meal will come from, it is the height of callous obscenity, for this uncultured and semi-literate buffoon, who evidently had NO visible source of income prior to being elevated into the corridors of power, to spend his every waking moment boasting and crowing online in celebration of his fleet of hugely expensive luxury cars all acquired with stolen public funds.

Hopefully it won't be too long before the laws of karma finally catch up with Mr. Maajale, whereby the ballistic rain of hurled stones will not only lay waste the entire collection of ostentatious status-symbol cars bought by this monkey with stolen government money, but also the shatter vacuous bony cranium of the arrogant and comically vain career criminal who bought every one of the vehicles with looted public wealth.

Car Talk / Re: What I Saw In This Toyota Prado Fuel Tank (Photos) by Flaghouse1: 9:49am On Oct 31, 2017
cardoctor:
This should be an eye opener to diesel engined car owners. The condition and quality of diesel in the Nigerian market is appalling. I have observed that there is so much adulterated diesel in circulation that can ultimately clog up your fuel system with catastrophic consequences to your engine as well as associated emission components. I have worked on diesel engines for over 30 years now and this is the worst condition of sludge and dirt that I have ever found in any diesel fuel tank.

Most diesel fuel bought on the black market and also gas stations could possibly be contaminated with dirt and water that can potentially cause engine malfunctions that could adversely affect your fuel economy. A Toyota Prado diesel was brought into my workshop as a non-starter and further diagnostics revealed what you see in the pictures below.

1. Diesel fuel tanks (Main and reserve) was filled with sludge and water.
2. Diesel filters in the fuel tanks was completely covered in sludge.
3. Engine bay filter was completely blocked with dirt.

A proper wash of the fuel tanks and brand new filters had the vehicle back on its feet and now drives superbly.

Avoid black market diesel and change your filters regularly (every 10,000kms).
Clean out your fuel tanks (every 20,000kms)

Car-Doctor

This will be the effect of adulterated diesel, the owner of the car should review the diesel purchase channels in order to put an end to future occurrence and also if the driver is allowed to buy the diesel for the Prato ,he might be tempted to buy adulterated diesel in order to make some little cash at the detriment of the engine of the vehicle

Wow! Thanks for all the love and advice.

Thank you lalasticlala.

I am glad I brought this here. Thank you too to my good friend who asked me to bring it here. You don't want me to name you, so I won't.

I have learnt so much because I decided to share tonight. I feel much better. Before logging in now, I just called her to say goodnight in my usual way.

I asked how she was and she said fine and returned the question. I said I was "just there". She asked why and I told her that her decision got me into a bad place. She then asked "My decision is a good one now, not so?". I told her that I am not sure it is a good decision. Her tone changed and she told me that it was not my place to be sure about her decision. She said it was her decision to make and she was sure about it. I got a bit angry, but I calmed myself and told her as I usually do that I love her. She said a simple ok and goodnight.

If not for the advice I have gotten here, I would have gone on to ask her why she is acting the way she is. But I did not, I just goodnight and hung up.

It is clear to me now what you guys have been saying. I know her to be quite stubborn but this time around, something more is giving her impetus.

I will study all your advice and create a good path to exit as gracefully as I can. Thank you all. It is well.

That is the spirit- you win some ,you loose some

Adopt this candor and you will see that more unpalatable news like this will not shake you, be the man you are expected to be

Thank you so much.

My brother, I will be candid with you. My biggest problem is that I love this lady with my beign. She is the only girlfriend I have ever had. 3years. I have often visualized our life together. We talked about family, kids, everything.

I am an introvert, who hardly gets close to people. I am a guy that usually doesn't give a Bleep unless I want to. But this stuff hit me. It hit me where it hurts. As I type this tears are springing from my eyes. I'm trying to stop but it hurts.

My whole life just seems useless. I don't know exactly what to do. I feel lost.

First of all you need to use "pure water" to wash your face to clear that love for your eyes,

Let me share a story ( real) I once dated a lady ,very beautiful to the extent that the dad likes me that when I visit the house the mother will always ask me questions if I have seen the lady ,I will just st pretend like say I don't know what she is talking about ,the mother will send the junior ones to call her she will just come to,the sitting room and we go dey pretend for each other, she later messed up ,just something similar to your case ,I was really pained because it was my first and true love ,also an introvert like you, I just had to bone and leave area as guy never hold pepper, fast forward 4-5 years later that was how she came to my office and my oga saw her with me and was surprised that I had such a beautiful babe, she came to me to continue the relationship and I told her that it can't work as I will not be able to tell the current babe to leave because of her.

It was later I did some investigation and discovered that the mother and father was really eager for her to get married and were like asking her about me and was desperate to win me back.

Young man I prophesy into your life , that this is just a small disappointment in your life that will eventually open bigger and better financial breakthrough and opportunities for you very soon.

My candid advise let her go, though it's painful but I assure you will never regret the decision !

y3mi:

So let say 'folakemigeh' is actually an impostor, what does she stand to gain in doing so while maintaining thread such as the following:
Will You Still Love Me If I Say I Am A Witch?
No scammer has the time to write such a non-mundane thread^

How Does A Girl Spot A Player?
An impersonator whose intent is to swindle admirers or bamboozle interested people can't afford the time to be asking such girly question on a forum like this. If whoever is behind those picture with the username 'folakemigeh' is an impostor, then he or she has more chance at Badoo.com to nail suckers, there are lots of them there who uses images of guys and girls that aren't theirs.

Why Is Linda Ikeji Blog Not Opening?
The question in this thread was asked in earnest and most importantly if the Nairaland user 'folakemigeh' has ever duped anyone or two persons here on Nairaland before she should have being reported since. Everyone following her would have caught that by now.

Men: Is This Possible?
This is the last known thread by 'folakemigeh' which could have been her very first to serve as a mean to attract guys/men into noticing her, and given the nature of the question as it's directed specifically towards males. So, in logic, that's the way any time-bound scammer would go.

So in my own earnest conclusion, I doubt 'folakemigeh is an impersonator, if it was allegation as you claimed, she reserve the right not to respond to your allegation whilst enjoying the free publicity you are providing her, though it's said that the thread has now being hidden. I mean I for one once/twice contacted her and she never responded back but that still doesn't qualify her to be an impostor or someone shady. She probably receives hundreds of PM each day so it's not a must she has to respond to them all or any. That doesn't make her suspicious. It's the other person 'OnlyGod (@Iampcandy)' who should be quizzed as to who he/she really is and by the way, why is he/she not showing concern about someone who has being brought to her attention to be impersonating her under the username 'folakemigeh' on Nairaland ?

In my conclusion, if both parties are not worried, then only two deductions can exist from this conundrum and that is - it's either

1. 'OnlyGod (@Iampcandy)' is also 'folakemigeh' where one just want to see how your wild goose chase ends and the other just enjoy the stardom you making of her while it last.

or

2. Someone entirely different, most probably a 'male' is behind the two accounts who's trying to lure specific targets into whatever it is he/she is scheming but became sloppy along his/her nefarious line of work and someone with lots of free time like you caught the slink and decide to alert everyone here on Nairaland.com

I suggest you best post whatever it is you have and explained how who is who becomes who isn't who or not. It's getting stale.

very detailed resolution to issue on ground.
the OP should bring on whatever information he has on folakemigeh or go and sleep as I am feeling suspicious of his motives for this thread,is he wooing her and refused his overtures making him mad to go all out to discredit her person
