I have already answer your question before when I said that those in prison or living abroad who have no opportunity to come home and do their Bvn should go to court and seek for court order to attenticate their reason for not coming home during the exercise. Majority of the money we are talking about is in million and billions. If not in prison and you have five million of naira in your account and the money is genuine please what are you doing in abroad that will not make you not to come home and do the Bvn. Am sure the majority of them, let say 95 percent will never come and ask for it again in life. If a civil servant can have 100 million in account, do you think he will ever come for it again? Where would he say he get it from? These are the money belonging to federal or state government or possibly money they suppose to give the government employee but will keep in sepate accoint for some years to yield interest and if no question on it again they will withdraw it and clean mouth.

Noted ,will try those centres outside the country if they are still doing BVN registration, the corrupt civil srrvants having such accounts will never show up for collection again.

@bolded refers ,you know our system authenticating reasons in court for not doing BVN will create avenues for unscrupulous to begin reaping people in terms of exaggerated processing fees.

Thanks once again

Hope he got the requirements mentioned.

If yes, he/she should look for the online banking code for UBA (*737# in the case of GTB) and register or link his/her account to an already existing BVN and do an instant transfer of all funds from that account. When this Federal government madness calms down, he can go open another account and get his/her biometrics captured.

Thank me lerra.

1.the funds are in domiciliary account ,possibility of transferring to another Dom. Account how feasible?

People in diaspora were given opportunity/options to get themselves registered, after two to three years of grace, you are still here blaming the government. Can you try the same with the government of country where you reside?

DO NOT BE MISINFORMED:

1. There is nothing like permanent forfeiture of depositors funds.
Did you hear about 25m illegal withdrawn by a banker in Kano of late Ado Bayero? Family got to know after sending court order to all the bank when about to share his wealth because it was a polygamy home.
Imagine a monogamy home who centered their requests to the banks they felt the late person uses without reckon to other banks.

2. The funds shall be reclaimed from CBN after due diligence from the depositor/beneficiary.
So, welcome this development and make sure you grab the dailies when the names are out to check for the name of your late Father, Mother, Uncle and so on no matter the year of death. You could be lucky to become the next million/billionaire.

3. Report has it that Union and Firstbank only warehouse over 200billions monies of deceased customers unclaimed. Are you aware of this?

4. Recall also that this case was not initiated by FG, it was group of financial analysts that sue FG to take the action.

5. Do not panic if your BVN is not linked yet, you can link it anytime you are around and reclaim your fund no matter the time without going to court. Only the family of deceased person will go to court to get letter of administration to claim monies belonging to the dead relatives or those with mismatch names which is what is even obtainable now.

THIS IS WIN WIN SITUATION FOR THE MASES AND HARVEST PERIOD FOR LAWYER BECAUSE MUST FAMILY WILL BECOME MILLIONAIRE OVERNIGHT

TRUST THAT WITH THE CLARIFICATION, SOME ADAMANT IGNORANTS WILL STILL SAY "NO BE SO"

Well elicited explanation,I believe we as Nigerians did not bother to read all through the write up, rather controlled by sentiments and emotions decide to be adamant and not welcome such gestures to safeguard our supposed inherited funds et al!

we have a lot of problem in this country. All what you have said please, is there any one one that make sense? What about those people that have lost there Bvn? If anybody lost his /her Bvn won't he/she go back tobank and retrieve it back. Some analyst don't have common sense at all. If somebody can't go to bank from anywhere he/she is locating since 2014 definitely that person have skeleton in the cupboard. Truly some may be serving jail term in abroad but when such person comes back to the country he can get court order to claim his money back. But am sure majority of the money without Bvn are own by top civil servant. They are criminals. They don't love this country for just a second. If you are in civil service, you will understand what am saying. This policy is good one. If my mother of 70 year of age can go bank and queue for hours and get her Bvn I don't know why others can't do the same. If an handicap can do the same I don't know why able can't do it.

My question to you if an elderly person living in the UK has not been home for 3 years. Should the person run home and do BVN ?

Please,I,need answer to this so I can ask you the next one

I have been outside Nigeria for over 5 yrs. I had some money in zenith bank before I left.

The account has not been linked to any bvn because I don't even remember the account number.

I have never held any public office.

So going by the reasoning of the government and the reasoning of some people here, the money in my account must be stolen money that should be forfeited to the government just because the account does not have bvn.

This is a case of guilty until proven innocent.
Why does a government think that robbing it's citizens is a good policy

Good line of thoughts, I wonder why a government should impoverish its people, rightly put, there are people abroad that have nor registered BVN what efforts are thenFGN putting in place to ensure the registration is done in our embassies and linking it to various account holders , I believe this will be the easiest way to catch anybody that has looted funds in his/her account as it will be a bit difficult to register BVN if you know you have funds looted ,

Also, I believe there should be a threshold of amount to be held in an account for somebody to be a suspect, say if I have less than $4,000 in my domicile airy account over five years will that be termed as looted funds, they should be scientific in taking hasty decisions.

6 months after my previous relationship parked up, I added her on Facebook. We got chatting and I assisted her twice without even asking to see her.
Based on her several requests, I allowed her come to visit and we happen to have a lot to talk about. Fast forward, she could stay one week stretch with me, (wtht nacking fa, i swear) do all cooking and cleaning and never asks for money. I gave her at will.

She caught my heart. And I became attracted to her,(she dresses sexy) I made some advances at her, she only accepts lips kissing and handling nothing more.
She said she can only 'do' in a relationship heading somewhere.
She told me about her strict upbringing and all, I told her about my past rltnshps (nothing horrible), but she only told me about two relationships she's had and said she lost her virginity to one.
I was not ready to loose her and was thinking of taking her to Mama after two months of our being together.
I got the impression of a good girl and wife material.

Somehow she logged in her Facebook on my laptop and left it.
I was inquisitive and went through her inbox. I ran into 8 guys/married men she has slept with in different towns strictly for money within this year, some didn't pay her as agreed and they quarreled. I also noticed she's visited two of my FB friends but no evidence of the activity.

Last week, she went to visit a guy, after the 3rd meeting he was asking her if her ass still dey leak?

As I type now, she's in a guys house and they are meeting for the first time.

She doesn't know I know all this yet. Like I said I've never entered her, its not really my thing.

LESSONS LEARNT
1. Guys beware of ladies that throw themselves at you, they are probably hiding something.
2. She pretends to be decent around me and not demanding, yet she receives money and banana else where: hmmmm

My question: How should I react and get her out of my life?

Dandsome:
In addition to the earlier thread on Frontpage about a tax collector who killed a driver.

Government should stop using touts to do some jobs for them.

The tax collector actually demanded N2000 from the driver but the driver said what he had was N1000 because the truck broke down earlier and he didn't have any extra money on him.

An argument ensured and then the tax collector used a plank with nails (which they put under tyre of a vehicle from stopping from moving) and hit the man on the neck. The man died from that.

What angered the people there was the motor boy there held the suspect but the police man with the tax collector there aided the man to escape.

The other truck drivers blocked the road, dismantled the check point and used it as bonfire to block the road for commuters. They said they want to see the killer before they open the road.

Since the killer wasn't coming forth they said PMB must come there to settle them. They later changed the demand to governor must come and also demanded N50 million compensation.

We thought it was joke, they kept us there until the deputy governor came and settled them.

I saw them pursuing a plain clothed police officer who came with a gun. They almost burnt army hilux.

They were also beating anyone taking pictures of the body. But as a sharp man, hitting the volume button on the Tecno Camon CX will take a sharp shot that's how I got pic of the body covered with mat. Get yourself one or wait for the next phantom. (don't worry I respect the dead so won't show pictures of the dead man cry)

Yellow truck is the truck the man was driving.

However, the road has been opened and it's clear now.

Source : I was there

gozie2000:
PLEASE READ THIS POST WITH FREE MIND AND THINK DEEP:
It was *Karl Marx* who said that history repeats itself, first as tragedy and second as farce.
*Edmund Burke said, 'Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it.*
I am mystified that many prefer to sit quietly and watch the evolving Igbo self destruction like car crash in slow motion. No one starts a war before he assembles an army. We did it first as an understandable tragedy and we seem bent on repeating it as a calculated farce. We are playing politics of secession unprepared with people, who have prepared for it for more than 50 years. We have chosen to do it at a time, Nigerian soldiers are trained in Hausa language and a large population of northerners are armed. What the north would have found difficult to do, Biafra agitation has provided the justification. By choosing to agitate for Biafra instead of injustices and marginalisation suffered in Nigeria, some of us have sadly removed the focus from injustice to secession. Never mind that injustice is the reason for secession. We want to benefit from the audacity of a rabble rouser, who fights with his tongue in war that requires wits and stratagem. I would like to once more say that ethnic politics in a multiethnic nation is almost always bad politics. It pitches one group against another
and it is often a zero sum game. It often fails because the focus is on the ethnic group uniting on a particular position, instead of on interrogation of the position to ascertain its soundness. People are told to agree with the position of the group to demonstrate unity and often they are compelled to sail on a ship they know has holes in its hull. Those who dissent are not seen as patriots, who want the people to get it right, but as saboteurs who do like the 'supreme' leaders.
To confront the Nigerian state without a coherent narrative, strategy and tactics, at a time the
north is in control of security and political power is naivety that borders on recklessness and impunity. Inflammatory words and utterances, irresponsible statements and ill thought out plans
are not evidence of well thought strategy and tactics. To talk of Biafran Army, without idea of how it will be equipped and soldiers paid, is to say the least mindless and suicidal. All these are suggestive of magical thinking, delusion of grandeur and overvalued ideas. These may appeal to a population which is limited by beliefs, faith and traditions, but will be irresponsibility to men of reason and objective minds. People who support such spontaneous uprising have no real understanding of what a good society means and how to achieve it beyond what they think or believe God says in his 'Holy Bible" Events so far points to the building of a personality cult and a society, where individuals are more important than their ideas. This is very dangerous and retrogressive. Yes, IPOB has resurrected the spirit of Biafra, but to whose benefit and to what end? What will be the price, and who will pay it? The Tamils Tigers were very much more prepared, organised and strategic, than IPOB, yet they lost because they failed to interrogate their plan to determine its sustainability and ability to withstand whatever their opponents would throw at them. They failed to build bridges, and reach out to potential allies and friends. They did not know when to stop agitating?
So far, the utterances of Nnamdi Kanu and activities of IPOB are harming Igbo and South East unity. They are destroying Igbo businesses. They are damaging the careers of Igbos in the Army, Police, and Customs. They are threatening our relationship with other ethnic groups in Nigeria.
*It represents the ugly face of ethnic nationalism.*
They are destroying trust, creating instability, burning bridges, widening differences, reviving ethnic prejudices and enthroning autocracy and the rule of the mob. We are hearing of supreme leader and God speaking to men in attempt to exploit the ignorance of the people through mysticism.
The only person who has benefited so far and, who stands to benefit, if this charade continues is Nnamdi Kanu. Many continue to languish in prison and many resting in untimely graves. Not a
single road has been built. Not a single classroom has been refurbished. Not a single corrupt politician has been replaced or voted out of office. Not a single hospital has been built. Not a single job has been created. What we have witnessed is the evolution of a primitive society, autocracy and primitive personality cult. *Our elders are watching while a tethered goat gives birth*.
Who will tell Emperor Nnamdi Kanu that he is naked, without being accused of hating him and or being against Biafra?
*The stage is set for avoidable mistake and tomorrow, people will say, he had no choice.*
Copied.

Balanced debate !!!!

It is not possible for abaribe to produce KANU when it is evidently clear that the Nigeria army messed up big time by invading his home.
This case between abaribe and the courts will only drag on and on fruitlessly, at best it will form an educational exercise.
The case involving Nnamdi kanu have been stalled by the army who invaded his home,it is now about refunding abaribes bail bond.

Nigerians have a very big problem, so because this guy refused to live a fake life like the men and women of God that u guys worship more than u worship ur god, that's why u are condemning him? Did pastor Chris not divorce his wife, and didn't his wife give reasons that he had many concubines that he sleeps around with? Did that make u guys stop worshiping him? And do u care to know who he is currently fvcking? Didn't Chris Okotie divorce his wife and remarried, and what did the bible say about divorce? Didn't the bible say God hates divorce, and this pastors that did it and still live their lives like nothing happened, and don't u people still worship them, isn't it wrong? And what about pastors that are married and still sleeps with people's wives? Their churches don close? Una no d still worship them? Nigerians don't want people who will bring them out of darkness, they want and love those that keeps them in perpetual darkness

Nice analogy of the discourse, we in this part of the divide still has a lot of work to do in terms of our reasoning capabilities, the bible frowns at divorce and if you must divorce there are situations that will make you divorce your spouse which are highlighted in the bible.

Taking a swipe at freeze due to his marital status is really not a way to go on the message he is trying to pass along to the populace,my advise is people should endeavour to ""LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE ,NOT THE MESSANGER".
