He has been disturbing me to come visit him as it has not been easy staying alone, loneliness and all. I promised to visit him next week which also happened to be my birthday week. I have super strict parents but I still promised I will find my way.
I told them (parents) that I was travelling to visit a friend (girl). I could not tell them it was my boyfriend I was going to see because I knew deep down they wouldn't allow me travel to another city to see a guy. But my parents have blatantly refused that I cannot visit this girl. I had to tell my bf that I was not going to come. He was so sad and angry and he let me know he has wasted a lot of money preparing to surprise me for my birthday. He was so excited to see me and he had made a lot of plans. He told me he was disappointed in me and he doesn't think he can continue a relationship like this. Yes he comes to abeokuta sometimes but he mostly lodges in the hotel. He told me he can't continue lodging in the hotel that if I love him I will make effort. I tried to convince my parents they did not gree. A minister in the Lord's Chosen Church has been accused of raping two underaged sisters for years and finally impregnating them under the guise of casting out badluck from them.
Pastor Nduka Anyanwu, who ministers in the Lord's Chosen Church, Canaan Land branch in Oshodi, allegedly impregnated the sisters aged 17 and 13.
According to an NGO known as Stop The Abuse, Nduka allegedlyvbegan raping the younger girl when she was just 9 and began raping the older girl when she was 16. They also alleged that the parents of the girls knew but allowed the pastor to carry on because he told them it's the only way he could remove the "spiritual mark" on them that "repels good things".
When he was eventually nabbed by a team of advocates from Stop The Abuse Foundation, the parents of the girls allegedly tried to defend him. The parents refused his arrest based on the fact that he's a man of God and he has already promised to marry their older daughter.
According to the NGO, the pastor said that he wants the older sister to keep the pregnancy and he'll marry her but asked that the younger sister aborts her pregnancy because what happened between them was a mistake.
Police officers at the Makinde Police Station arrested the pastor and he's now in their custody.

I bought a London used HP Probook 6450b from a guy they call "Alfa" for 65000 naira at computer village. Sometime later, my friend wanted to buy a laptop, I suggested he bought the same type I use.
He bought his for 60000 naira, when I was setting it up for him, I put on my laptop and his at the roughly same time, his laptop booted faster than mine, nothing appeared wrong at this time.
Fast forward a week, my friend bought a GTA 5 CD from computer village, after he installed the game, he gave me the CD to install the game on my laptop, but I didn't have time to play it at that moment.
When I got home, I decided to play the game, and to my surprise, the ran very slowly, around 10-15 fps, the next day, my friend called me to ask whether I was enjoying the game, I told him what happened and he was confused, he said the game was getting a minimum of 60 fps on his laptop, I then asked him how much RAM he had, he quickly checked and told me 4GB, since I didn't know how much I had, I checked mine, and to my surprise, I only had 3GB of RAM! I then checked the official specs of the laptop when it first came out, it came with 4GB of RAM!
My question is, should I go and challenge "Alfa" to get the RAM changed or should I let it slide?

I joined the banking system about a decade ago. Young and naive. I got carried away by thier flashy suits and top tech phones. The moment I entered I realized all these was a scam. Those suits you see are being paid for, installmentally for 3months. The phones in 6 months etc Bankers are one of the least paid professions today considering the amount of time they put Into thier work (7am to even 10pm) and the level of risk they are subjected to. The sad thing about working for a Nigerian bank is once u leave, u realize that you can't use the skill elsewhere. You are technically back to square one.
This is my case. I spent the last decade of my life working in a financial institution as a teller. Quite wastful considering the fact that I know nothing other than counting money for customers. I worked for 7days in a week. 10yrs passed In a flash. No time to even get additional qualifications.
Before joining, my friends adviced me against it, but coming from a humble background the need to get independent fast was more appealing. Why I stayed so long is a topic for another day (have you heard of employment fraud) anyway, I left last week and I can say I am happy I finally got a chance and time to learn any new trending knowledge and I am prepared to start afresh. I will be 35 this year. With a background in construction mgt I thought of copywritting, digital marketing etc but I love to learn technical stuff.. Pls advise if any. 2. Cele have both good and bad members just as any other Pentecostal, Catholic, Anglican etc.. Church...
3. Cele has many parishes/branches Nation wide...
4. One Parish may have a Shepard/Pastor that is bad maybe even using occultic powers just as some Pentecostal pastors also use occultic powers but that doesn't mean that Pentecostal church is bad ...
5. Many other parishes/branches have God fearing Shepards/Pastors that relate to their members with the fear of God...
6. The only colour of candle permitted in Cele Church is white... Anyone that tells you otherwise is lying to you...
7. Cele is also a member of CAN... In my time in Cele, I saw many good Prophets, I also saw few evil Prophets that were exposed by the good ones...

1. The convoy of the Executive Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Gana Zulum came under Boko Haram Terrorists fire while visiting Baga Town on the 29th of July 2020. The Executive Governor had earlier paid a visit to the Commander, 19 Brigade at the Nigerian Army Super Camp Baga where he was fully briefed about the prevailing security situation in the general area. The unfortunate incident occurred shortly after the Governor and his entourage departed the Super Campaign to visit other parts of Baga town. The incident forced the Governor to abort his planned movement to Baga.

Although, details of the unfortunate incident is sketchy and under investigation, efforts are ongoing to comb the area where the incident occurred with a view to track down and deal decisively with the attackers. Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State has sacked over 1,800 of his aides over what he described as "nonchalant attitudes of his appointees in Executive Assistants, Senior Technical Assistant and Technical Assistants".
IGBERE TV reports that Umahi made this known when he signed into law, the Ebonyi State 2020 Revised Budget of 132billion in a virtual ceremony with stakeholders physically present at the Ecumenical Centre Abakaliki.
Governor Umahi who approved the dissolution of the 3 categories of appointees said the sack is effective from 1st August, 2020.
He, however, urged those interested in rendering services to the state government in their capabilities to reapply after their dissolutions which will be subject to approval by the Ministries, Departments and Agencies where they wish to serve.
The governor further said that if you are reapplying and you have no agricultural farm, then, you need not apply as applicants must show where they are farming because the state government is doing everything possible to turn the minds of Ebonyians from appointment position to business minds.
"If you are reapplying, you must explain what you did before, show where your farm is and be sponsored by either Commissioners, SAs, SSAs, Boards and Commissions.", he added.
During the event, the Governor also noted that the budget had passed through various processes, starting with the citizens' budgets for the inclusion of omitted areas and necessary inputs.
Olamila: Let me not bore you guys with my relationship history but this girl is my first love, i met her while i was in school 300l. Ever since then i have always been there for her despite even having a low budget as student because I'm not from a wealthy home, even her parents has times10 more than my family. Because i try to make her feel comfortable because i no how many guys wish her to be with her. So secondly i made another 1m i squandered it with her too. But when this money just finish guyz i always see hell in her. This was the ups an downs i was experiencing till i finished my school with her. It was a shame for me upon the money i made in school i graduated with zero account looking for money for my law school. I wasn't fortunate to get any help so i sat back to Hustle. Then i was begging looking for helper to assist me when i saw one big opportunity that i need to take but it the opportunity required money as my account was bleeding zero. This words alone made me cry, did you no instead of helping me out she told me I'm not the only one that needs help she also need to invest on her self which she was right i believe her. She later invested her money in one fraudulent sheme which she lost the money.
FastTrack to what is happening now, i later got help from someone who offered me 50k and my mum 20k making it 70k i picked myself up and started my Hustle again. Within three months i made 800k again. All this times i was giving her update about my business and earnings. Could you imagine she had the gut to ask for money despite her behaviors. Because of my nature i don't believe someone's bad nature should change my own nature so i still sent her some money because i also no she is broke.
Since then i just forgot about what she did and all of those stuffs because my money kept coming and i don't keep grudges i keep taking care of her. Now i had issue with my business i want to fix something up i was also telling her. this girl went ahead to start asking me to send her money. I was really disappointed i protested because i noticed when i have money i become very careless. It seems money covers so many things. I just need advice because i think it is time to let her go coz with her nature and type of girl it might end in tears for me. All she do is stay on social media, snap and post and look for who will send her money. No skills, i have begged her several times to look for something to be doing she refused and tells me how her dad won't allow her.
