It is standard practice in civilized climes, for investigative agencies to first off all gather all the evidence, investigate thoroughly, then review everything from top to bottom, before passing over their findings to the prosecutors to finish off the job. But here, the investigative agencies, would just give over inconclusive files and documents, which they got from media agencies to the prosecutors for shoddy execution. my point exactly. this is the reason most cases of corruption practices are thrown outta court. the normal thing is for the agencies to investigate thoroughly. agencies like FBI or CIA can investigate a person for 5 years on criminal practices, by the time prosecutors are called in, it will be with loads of verified evidences. but here, looks like it is more about making opponents pay or why the hurry?

One has to be a manager of crises before you can be given the mantle of leadership. A true leader should be able to manager his anger over his subordinates. Teachers in this part of the world are uncivilized/untrained and do not have proper educational training on how to handle students they look after.Is it by beating a child that you correct that child? after reading SME comments, I had to go bk up n read d story again cos it seemed like I read a different story. what d house master did is totally wrong, he punished those two guys not to correct them but to vent his anger and frustration. if odawise, he ought to investigate d matter and punish all those involved, not jump on d 1st student he saw. he hasn't corrected anyone now cos he didn't take time to identify those involved.
instilling discipline in young people is not an east task, not something one can do with just beating. my mum stopped beating me when she realized I barely feel d pain any more. come to think of it, I attended a boarding school where a senior will beat everyone in a class cos her boyfriend winks at your classmate. those treatment made us stubborn and rebellious. but we respected those that corrected us for d wrong we did.

one prob with efcc, Icpc, CCB n oda agencies like this, they don't dig deep n block holes before initiating trials. in some places, security n anti corruption agencies investigate suspects for years before running to court, they watch and dig when no one is looking, that way, its hard for people to cover there tracks, not so in Nigeria, they are always in a hurry. I am a kwaran, saraki allegedly stole mostly from us, but on this case, I am sitting on the fence, I have no ish with judiciary, but CCB, like efcc kinda dumb.

The medical schools up North are not filled up and this do not produce enough doctors (why do you think they use mostly midwives there for childbirth??) and doctors in the South mostly do NOT want to go to the North to do even posting if they can avoid it. So he's going to find it hard to hire new staff unless he offers a deep financial incentive...which is impossible in this economy.

If this guys runs for president, I am willing to even rig an election for him to win! He's wonderful and visionary. Sometimes I cannot believe he's a Nigerian.
