Icon4s: He has now scored two goals this season, while Kayode has 11 goals. This ur headline though
Where is forgiveness? A new unknown name has come. Food don come for you.
why me? You know as usual na but this one never try reach na. Only two goals in a season in an average league is not too good.
These days, i get confused seeing more talented players springing up every day. Most of the names listed here might not likely make the list. e.g Usman, Nwobodo etc
tsephanyah: he is gridy,, I think he is swallowing stuffs that he is inhaling during when is in the Army,, hope zahra u and ur co watching my comments and post here, since Twitter is bigger for our conflict, I wish ur dad death, as he wanted mine death, wickedbuhari
Who is your dad? Is it Dasuki? Don't worry, nothing go do am?

Long time no see. You seem to sound like an agitator of freedom and it seems you don't believe in one Nigeria. I hope you are not the only one from the other side of the Niger in support of disintigration. Hmm!
No wonder Barcelona wan poach am but i hope our coach will not turn blind eyes to this one. Chai! I just remembered something na na. His colleague Sadiq Umar, The boy some said is not good enough or not matured enough to play for the Olympics because he has not gone through age grade system. The same people have now turned around to clamour for the inclusion of Chidozie Awaziem to the Olympics football team direct (double promotion) without the so called age grade system. Chai! no be my fault ooo. I just gat to talk so that whenever we come here we should have thought deeply before we comment. Who knows what they said yesterday will come hunt them today.
Rayhutar: Good, but to me I dont see shoping malls as major achievement because they are killing small small businesses, is it not South African government that is taken the lion share of the gain they make back to South Africa, Indigenous Malls should be encouraged rather than this Nigerians excitement about Shoprite
Yes! But they have opened the eyes of many Nigerians to start opening malls e.g Ebeano malls and Addide stores.
Abagworo: You can't compare Obiano who goes about snapping pictures with Rochas who is silently working and has gone too far to be compared in this thread. Owerri Mall is already 100% complete. Have you seen photo of Okorocha parading himself inside it.

TheGoodJoe: Come on, we are talking U17 teams here. If he was U20 and he is not invited, it is a different case but our coaches scout our U17 teams from the grassroots.
It is impossible for him to get a call up now. At the U20 and above level, if we call him and he says yes good. If we call him and he says no, we have too much talents not to miss him.
OK na! But how come Funsho bamgboye take enter the team? Is that not breaking the rules of grassroot? And where in the world do countries only scouts players from the grassroot? I still dey observe.
I REGRETTED BUYING AN ABA SHOE LAST WEEK... I WORE THE SHOE TWICE, I HAD TO DUMP IT BECAUSE THE SURFACE WAS PEELING UP AND IT WAS TEARING....... IF YOU SEE THE WAY THE SHOE BEND GO ONE SIDE..........

Barcelona loanee Bobby Adekanye is set to commit his international future to Holland instead of his country of birth, Nigeria.
The Royal Dutch Football Association is in the driving seat to cap the highly-rated winger after he was included by Coach Edwin Petersen on the roster for the upcoming UEFA Development Tournament.
Ademola Adekanye, Bobby's dad, has reiterated that the NFF did not attempt to persuade the PSV Eindhoven starlet to represent any of their youth teams, and it would have been disrespectful to give a negative response to the KNVB.
''Bobby is going with the Dutch under 16 team to Portugal. They are scheduled to play three games, against Spain, Portugal and Deutschland,'' said Ademola Adekanye to SL10.ng.
''The door is not finally shut on Nigeria, nobody knows tomorrow if he will decide to play for Nigeria. ''The truth is that the Nigeria Federation never invited him, but Netherlands did and he needs to respect them.''
According to Fifa rules, the door is still open for Bobby Adekanye to defend the colors of Nigeria until he plays a Fifa-sanctioned competitive game for Het Nederland’s Elftal.
ADO Den Haag winger Segun Owobowale represented Holland at the 2014 European Under-17 Championship, but it has been 'claimed' that he has opted to play for the Super Eagles in future.
I still don't understand why some players born in abroad get invitation to the National team while some got ignored delibrately. All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others. Na animal Farm thing.
They will say we need home grown players and that we have too much talented players. But when you look at the countries poaching our players, you will begin to wonder if we have more better talented players than them. And you will think they are poaching from our crumbs. Hehehe! Crumbs indeed!
But reverse is the case. With the arrays of stars they have, they still have the quest to accumulate more talented players.
The boy approached Emmanuel Amuneke but Amuneke turned him down without even a trial while Holland had already seen enough of him to give him a call up. Which way naija? Tomorrow dem go say he is not patriotic for chosen Holland because they think the boy no like success.
I talked about Tiago Ilori exploit at Sporting Lisbon and Bordeaux the other day (now playing for Liverpool) but someone said na average player. But i was shocked when he started mentioning and Clarmoring for one of our rising in Porto to be included in the under 23 just because he played only three matches recently. Don't get me wrong. I support his suggestion but i don't support his selective......
I always supported any good player but i don't support......
I am suspecting something and i still dey observe.

TheSuperNerd: "The rest", or just the other 2, like they are plenty others in a top5 list? #smiles
It was just a top5 and 3 out of 5 satisfied you and you were still disappointed. **smh**
Uhmm, "MOST IN-FORM" is the "key term". That's what guided my drawing up of that list.
I didn't make the list to meet anyone's satisfaction as you also have players you always clamor for yourself..... Solanke-guy right? #smiles
I know my list is good based on the title I gave it. I'm not looking at minutes played. I look at Form, Quality (Class) and Potentials. The top5 was based on "Form"
Note: If you check the super Eagles thread few pages back from its current page, you'll see a detailed discourse I had on the topic. As for the players you listed, I also listed most of them in that discourse. So pls, try to be more investigative.
I prefer avoiding arguments these days online. If you're looking for such... Not here Sir. #smiles Ciao.....
The Western Sahara issue is not like the Biafra issue for these reasons
1.Western Sahara was a colony of Spain (was called Spanish Morocco)....while Morocco proper was a colony of France.
2. Morocco got independence from France in the 1960's. Western Sahara did not get independence till 1975.
3.When Spain quit Western Sahara.....Morocco and Mauritania marched in and split the country between themselves.
4.Eventually, Mauritania left its half of Western Sahara....which was taken over by Morocco eventually.
5.The OAU (Now AU) Strongly censured Morocco for its activity....and as a result....Morocco pulled out of the then OAU in 1975. Since then, they have stayed out.
6.Since the 1970's,Nigeria has always backed the Western Sahara.....in line with OAU/AU mandates. So..Buhari is just continuing an old policy...which is backed by all other African states.
TheSuperNerd: Siasia's excuses for the exclusion of Leon and Success are not cogent enough.
Success features in the best league in the world "quality-wise" for the worst team in the league and still has 5goals and 3 assists in 25 games for them. (The Epl which is the most popular, most followed, and most intense league closely follows the la liga as the 2nd best soccer league on earth).
Granada is a low-quality team in the world best football/soccer league but Success' qualities still shines through. It's about time Success got blooded into the Super Eagles. He offers more "quality-wise" than Fanendo Adi and Aminu Umar (who are both good players too).
Well, with the Likes of Kelechi Iheanacho(Attacking Midfield/Forward "hybrid" role), Victor Moses, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa, and Odion Ighalo, Nigeria hopefully won't lack goals. The quality in our attack is still more than enough for the Egyptians.
Leon has already featured for The Super Eagles in a couple of games under previous coaches Keshi and Oliseh and was excellent every time he put on the Green and white. He's been excellent as Right-back and under Oliseh he showed great leadership in central defence in the game against Cameroun.
He features for Mainz in the Bundesliga (the world's 3rd best league) in "CENTRAL DEFENCE" and has excelled so far. He played all 90mins when his team shocked Bundesliga champions and currrent table toppers, Bayern munich 2-1 in their own backyard (@Allianz Arena in munich).
He's currently Nigeria's finest central defender in Europe (yes he can play as a rightback too). In fact, he's one of Nigeria's most in-form top 5 defenders in Europe adding all "Capped" and "Uncapped" Nigerian players.....
The others are Kenneth Omeruo (Kasimpasa, Turkey on loan from Chelsea FC, England), Chidozie Awaziem (FC Porto, Portugal), Kingsley Ehizibue (PEC Zwolle, Holland), and William Troost Ekong (Haugesund, Norway on loan from KAA Gent, Belgium). .........................................................................................
ANYWAY, BREAKING NEWS IS AT LEAST SIASIA HAS HANDED LEON BALOGUN A LATE CALL-UP BRINGING NIGERIA'S FOREIGN PROS FOR THE AFCON DOUBLE-HEADER TO 21.
With the home-based players invited still 22 in number, it's now officially a 43-man squad for the two matches on march 25 and 29.
I just stumbled at this thread and i saw this caption "The most inform top 5 defenders in Europe adding" Capped" and "Uncapped" players. And i was curious to know who made the list but was disappointed after seeing the list.
I agree with Leon Balogun, Kingsley Ehizibue and Kenneth Omerue but i disagree with the rest on the list. Because there are many players ahead of those you mentioned on the list. Having mentioned Leon Balogun and Kenneth Omerue. Kenneth Otigba should be behind Leon Balogun, with 23 matches played and 1550 minutes of game time. Followed by Abdullahi-shehu who had played 20 matches and had seen 1668 minutes of football this season. Kingsley Ehizibue with 19 matches and 1223 matches and Godfrey Oboabana with 23 matches and 2070 minutes of game time then finally Kenneth Omerue with 17 matches and 1449 minutes on the field of play.
As you can see, they are far ahead of those you mentioned on your list.
Icon4s: These talented young lads are just too many. That was the point I was pointing out to Tbaba and forgiveness about Ehizibue who they feel we have lost a lot by allowing Holland to invite him for their U21. I dnt believe Ehizibue is better than Nura Abdullahi, John Lazarus and Sincere Seth. Not to talk of the right back we have in the U23(Seth one of them) and Super Eagles.
Yes, they are too many hence we must seperate the wheat from the chaff with the theory of elimination by substitution until we discover the best out of them all.
Ehizibue might be better than all of them but how do we know if we don't give him a trials.
Mtcheeeeeeeee! MTN Nigeria should pay the wages of their sins. Many many have suffered in the hands of kidnappers, scammers, blackmailers, boko haram because of unregistered sims.
Icon4s: Alex Iwobi featured in the NIG vs DRC and NIG vs CMR friendlies.
Talking abt Alaba and Delle Alli, i can see they have helped Austria and England respectively to win the World Cup.
Is Ehizibue d only young player that has nt been invited? We have youngsters like Awaziem, Success, Odubajo, and a host of others hu are on d waiting line. Is Ehizibue better than them?
Meaning Iwobi has not yet been capped according to FIFA rules.
Alaba and Dele have helped Austria and England to qualify for the European Cup respectively. Na step by step. Remember, I rate Nigeria above those teams.
Let us invite him first, he may turn out to be a better player. Who knows?
Icon4s: In that team were also Kenneth Omeruo, Ramon Azeez, Michael Olaitan, Abdul Ajagun, and Olanrewaju Kayode.
The thing is majority of U17 graduates dnt end up playing for d senior national team. I think so far d Japan 93 set had d highest number of players hu later played for d Super Eagles:just 5players out of 18 in dat squad. They are closely followed by that 2009 set that u are talking down. Yes 4players: Kennth Omeruo, Ogenyi Onazi, Ramon Azeez & Stanley Okoro have played for d Super Eagles. Bt for ill health Michael Olaitan i blieve would have featured for d Super Eagles by now. Now remember those boys are still below 24 , there is a possibility dat players like Abdul Ajagun, Mike Olaitan and Olanrewaju Kayode can get to feature for d eagles.
When dat crop progressed to d U20s in 2011 & 2013 they were jouned by players like: Ahmed Musa, Uche Nwofor, Shehu Abdullahi, Usman Mohammed, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Umar (forgotten his first name) and Kingsley Madu all of whom u know are Super Eagles players today. They are also known as d John Obu's boys; jst like how we have d Yemi Tela's boys, Manu's boys and Amuneke's boys.
Permit me to say that d John Obu's boys: 2009 U17, 2011 U20 & 2013 U20 dominate d Super Eagles and Olympic teams today. That production line to me did nt turn out badly.
Bros, Michael Olaitan was not part of 2009 under 17.
Icon4s: Let me start with ur last sentence. Iwobi was nt jst invited bc he is abt to b capped. He has been capped already . I am surprised u dnt know dat.
Then to ur other statement; nobody is bitting any finger bc of Alaba or Dele Alli. U cannot b capping every d!ck and harry player u see in Europe jst bc u dnt want dem to play for d other country. So we should ignore d already identified and established players and start chasing after players hu probably have nt even shown interest to play for Nigeria?
I am nt saying we should nt go after such players bt as i said before we cannot cap all of them all at once even if we parade four Super Eagles teams. After all in d last 1-2 years we have capped players like Leone Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Steven Ukoh and Alex Iwobi. In more distant past we also converted Sola Ameobi, Victor Moses and Victor Anichebe.
Such players are many and can only b introduced bit by bit.
Can you pls kindly remind me of the match he was capped?
Maybe you are not but i have read several articles on that even just today on this forum. Maybe you are not interested in winning World Cup. Believe me with those two lads in our team, we can go places. Like Argentina with Messi is something else.
If Ehizibue is good, we should not wait until he becomes a star before chasing after him. As German, England, France etc with all the arrays of talents at their disposal, still cap players. How come ours is different?
TheGoodJoe: Iwobi trained for some days with Coach Siasia and travelled with the team for the match. That is far better than those who do not know anything about Coach Siasia.
Out of how many players? The truth is he invited many foreign players based on... because many do not know his philosophy.
TheGoodJoe: As you can see, I was talking about the players currently in camp and the reasons he invited them. I said, "some of them" know his philosophy. You came with your list of foreign players who have no relation to the point I made and erroneously put a player who walked with Coach Siasia. So you can beat around the Bush as long as you want. I repeat, the reason why he invited lots of home based players, is because he can take time to work with them and some of them knows his philosophy. The statement is so simple.
Please, kindly go back to our previous discussion then you will know i am not out of point.
We all know that home-based players might likely not play a part in those matches. We were debating about the players selection generally.
AIG07: The '09 u-17 sets that paraded d likes of Olarewaju Kayode, Edafe Egbedi, Sanni Emmanuel(the super sub), Stanley Okoro(who was den tagged as Nigeria version of Messi), Paul d shot stopper(that dude throws ball n reaches d opponents half wit his hands) onazi(no one ever tot he 'll go far in his career after his lackluster performance against Germany) and d rest were just bunch of flukes who shone and went into oblivion. Nigerians tot they will be d next generation of a super talented Eagles but most of them failed to live up to expectation just like d 2007 set of Chrisantus n co...
Those years were years of AGE CHEATING, no wonder we've not been able to pull a strong national team till now.
'WHATEVER A MAN SOW; HE SHALL REAP'
Bros, you don't expect all players in the under age teams to make it to the highest level. Having said that, the 2009 set produced at least five good players out of which some played at the highest level. The likes of Ogenyi-onazi, Kenneth Omerue and Ramon Azeez all played in the world Cup while Abdul Ajagun and Kayode Olanrewaju are regular players in an European league. At least that set try. On the other hand, the 2007 under 17 set produced only three players. Rabiu Ibrahim, Lukman Haruna and Dele Ajiboye.
Icon4s: Do you know how many uncapped young players Nigeria has as at today?
Even if we form four Super Eagles Teams not all of them will still get that chance you are talking about.
How many matches have the Super Eagles played in the last 5-6 months? Or you expected us to have flooded the Team to play Egypt with uncapped players just to secure their nationalities. Look at the current squad in camp you will see that there are so many debutants already.
Besides, is he even better than the crop of young Right backs we have? Is he better than Shehu Abdullahi, Sincere Seth, Musa Mohammed, Moses Odubajo; some of whom have not even seen invitation to the Super Eagles. There are also Leon Balogun and Efe Ambrose who are the more established Right back options.
I dnt think Ehizubue can even make our U23 Team if given a fair chance.
Holland can have him play for their U21 if they want. He is still eligible to play for Nigeria in future if he improves on his game.
So that in the future when he turns out to become another David Alaba and Dele Ali, we will start bitting our fingers and saying had we known...... ok na!
I have my reasons for not criticizing Iwobi's inclusion on the list cos i think dey just want to cap him which is good for us.
