In my opinion, it seems the language is confusing you. Putting the word "may" before the phrase "not be necessary" is in itself unnecessary, as both words convey the very same idea - POSSIBILITY! Haven stated my opinion, I must add - Law has nothing to do with opinions. Again, do you have any Legal Authority upon which you have based the statement you made? That is all any court will be concerned with.

Go and read section 3(d) of the Code of Conduct Act: it says that once a person admits to an error, mistake or non-Compliance in Asset Declaration matters, it “SHALL NOT BE NECESSARY” to charge the matter to the Tribunal. The so called admission is A COMPLETE DEFENCE under the law.
If I may ask; where is Buhari’s Asset Declaration?
Why has Buhari not stepped aside until the Federal High Court determining his Certificate Case concludes Hearing or maybe we ask that Court to issue a BLACK MARKET INJUNCTION asking him to step aside without going through the National Assembly?

The NJC cannot decide the fate of the CJN in his absence. He has to be present, at some point. If the CJN is to be present at the NJC Panel deciding his fate, he'll only be there as the Chairman (their oga). I do not believe Buhari suspended him as the Complainant ("acusser" in your words), what wrong has the CJN committed against him? I believe Buhari suspended him to avoid a scenario in which the CJN will be a Judge in his own matter (which is almost certainly the main reason the CJN and his team have been kicking for the matter to first be referred to the NJC while he is still serving as its Chairman).

I think the CJN himself should quietly have stepped down, to save the Judiciary this mess. It's true there are some political undertones to this, but if he actually stated that he "forgot" to declare bank accounts from which he was receiving and spending huge sums of money (not a part of his official pay) from, then the dignified thing he could have done is to quietly and inconspicuously step down after being found out without having to drag the image of the Judiciary through this mess. The impunity with which the CJN has handled this matter pisses me off. This is the sort of corruption prevalent in the Judiciary that I'm against. I'd rather have a corrupt Police Officer headed by a corrupt Police Chief in a city with a corrupt Mayor located in a State with a corrupt Governor than have a corrupt Judge. A society where justice can be put on auction without consequences has already descended into depths irrecoverable.

That said, we all know that the power to suspend is constitutionally conferred on NJC exclusively, but the CJN is the chairman of the NJC, and the legal principle Nemo Judex In Causa Sua (You cannot be a Judge in your own matter) rings true here. Getting the NJC to discipline the CJN is like convening a Court Martial to convict a serving Chief of Defense Staff. It won't work. The logical thing to do is to first remove him from office (no matter how temporal or illegal) so that someone else can effectively be a judge in his matter.

As much as I don't like Buhari and his policies, this is one trick up his sleeves I support.

I went to a famous "city" in Ogun recently. They called it a city, but it didn't even have a single tarred road.

The most annoying aspect is that I was taking pictures of everyone I met and posting them on whatsapp with messages like "If you don't hear from me again, this is the last person I met."

I couldn't meet a single person who spoke English properly. I thought they were Nigeria's most educated. I bought something of #550 and gave the woman #1,050. She gave me #700 change. Ehn...even Maths sef them no sabi. If I was a Yoruba man she fo hear am.

I stopped asking the taxi guy that took me around questions after the first question. When he opened his mouth, the smell that slapped me. Personal hygene sef, them no sabi.

The only place I saw young men were in the parks, where they kept fighting over who gets to collect what money. Most of the young girls I saw were holding babies and toddlers, but didn't even have engagement ring on.

Book, them no sabi. Brain them no get. Their personal hygiene is zero (I'm not even talking about their environment). Learn work? Lie lie!! They just like to spend money they have not worked for. 60-year-old married man, Salisu Nuhu on Tuesday dragged his girlfriend to court over her refusal to marry him.

The complainant told the Magajin Gari Sharia Court II in Kaduna that the girl, Janet Baru had professed love to him and promised to convert to Islam so that they could get married, but later denied him after collecting huge amount of money from him.

He added that the defendant connived with her friend, Juliet to dupe him of N30, 000 after making him believe that she would marry him.

“I have been dating Janet for four years now and each time I visit her, I normally give her N1,000 or N2,000, and I have never touched her.

“Her friend Juliet asked me to give Janet N40,000 to show my seriousness about marriage, but I was able to give her N30,000”, he said.

He added that she requested him to meet her people in Benue which he declined but instead paid N5000 transport fare for her brother to come to Kaduna.

Mr Nuhu explained that he had given Janet N45,000 during Christmas with a clothing material worth N8,000 and N2,000 for sewing.

He therefore prayed to court to assist him in retrieving all the monies he spent on her.

The defendant on her part, said they had only dated for a year and was only aware of receiving N75,000 from him out of the monies he mentioned.

Janet told the court that she did not refund the money because he gave it to her as a gift not dowry.

The Judge, Musa Sa’ad, after listening to both parties adjourned the case to July 17, for ruling.
