How does an audio automatically mean that Tinubu has $170m to spend? Is the person in the audio Tinubu?
If Tinubu has planned to spend $170m which is N76.5b, how much does he now have left considering how much he has spent so far? Does it make sense? Bro it's not an insult rather an advice, if you have a deep knowledge of the desperation of Tinubu, then you will know he doesn't joke around. We have seen him first handed on matters of money and the handwritings are also there on the wall. The question is what's there to doubt. |

All that is happening is a strategy for APC to rig elections while they keep citizens busy, you can google it up. They distract you with money issues and then they keep doing their evil plot behind the scene. |

BluntTheApostle: So, why are they trying to bring Sule down?
Is he contesting for president?
Is he the richest pastor in Nigeria?
Is he the most popular pastor in Nigeria?
Is he the biggest critic of the government?
Why are they not trying to bring the other pastors down? It's simple if you have been following timelines just as you sound like you are doing, you will know that since the day he spoke against Buhari and when ALSO they were after Dino Melaye's life that he saved Melaye you will understand that he became their enemy. Do you know why they can't touch Bishop Kukah? Its cos Kukah is Fulani. Fulani don't kill their own except if you are a notorious bandit. Do your research you'll understand. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Have You Noticed All The Women Accusing Suleiman Are Into Acting/showbiz? by freenature: 9:06am On Jan 24, 2023 |
BluntTheApostle: There are many fake stories surrounding Idahosa.
Some fake stories include the Dangote story with the narrative that Dangote left his seat for Idahosa on a plane and Idahosa prophesied that he (Dangote) would be rich. That tale has long been debunked.
The actress who burned in the cupboard is another fake story. It never happened.
As for Suleiman Johnson, there are one too many accusations. He is not the only outspoken pastor in Nigeria.
Kukah uses every of his opportunity to attack APC and Buhari administration. Yet, they have not sponsored actresses to tarnish his image.
Oyedepo has used every opportunity available to him to speak ill of the government, yet no actress has been sponsored to tarnish his image.
But look at Suleiman. Several women including Stephenie Otobo, Ruth Kadiri, Danielle Okeke, Cossy Orjiakor, Halima Abubakar, and many other anonymous ladies have been linked to the same man.
Is he the only one? I think there's something you people are not getting here. When Jonathan and Trump were contesting for re-election what was used to destroy and bring them down from winning? It was the media and there were people who were backing all the propaganda and lies. Did we not see clearly now for ourselves that what was said about them was all a lie and ruse and yet you see a man being constantly attacked by actresses and media and you are still foolish enough to believe all the lies? May you receive wisdom in 2023. |

Corrinthians: Oga shut up. They said the car is faulty. No government in history of this country has patronised locally assembled vehicles like this administration.
Look at Road Safety, VIO, etc all their vehicles are Innoson. Even your local governors don't patronise Innoson the way fg does.
When that stupid Igbo Olosho called Mercy Eke won an Innoson vehicle in BBN, she never drove it for a day, but rather went and bought a Benz and flaunted it everywhere. You ibos clapped for her still.
Your own Igbo people are most notorious for remarketing Igbo products, but your selective blindness and bigotry will never recognise that, let alone admit it.
Ekpa Simon like you.😐😐 You don't need to be nasty spewing garbage. When Sierra Leone bought theirs did their government complain that there was a problem with the products and even if there is a problem. With the Naija ordered, major brands like Toyota, VW, Porsche, BMW face the same problem too. They've had that same problem so before write my brother think. |

Car Talk › Re: He Wants Advice On Buying His First Car. by freenature: 1:57pm On Dec 27, 2022 |
patwilly: I enjoin all forum members to actively contribute my budget is 4.5M the choices I am looking at are these :
1. Toyota Rav 4, (2011) Nigerian used. A friend is actually convinced this is the car I should buy as it fits nicely in terms of prestige and functionality. However, I'm not fully convinced as per buying a Nigerian used car and also because I'm not really taken to the RAV4 as I see it as not a masculine car.
2. Toyota Camry 2011 or 2012 (muscle) : I like this car and if it falls within my budget I'd happily buy it. The only negative here is I've been wanting an SUV to be my first car considering Lagos roads etc so I'm not totally sold on the idea of getting this car.
3. Toyota Highlander full option (2007) Direct Belgium or Nigerian used: Now this is the car I I'm most taken to. However, Friends are of the opinion that it is an old car (being 2007) and is gradually being phased out. Also the fact the car does not exactly convey much in terms of prestige etc.
So that's it. I'd appreciate it if forum members advise correctly on any of these three car models or recommend something else. Kindly highlight the merits/demerits of buying the foreign used or Nigerian used version of any car you'd recommend.
The attributes I'm looking out for are Functionality, ease of Maintenance, and prestige/aesthetics of the car.
I appreciate you all. don't go for an SUV or Mini SUV, go for a saloon car that is going to be maintainable for you. Remember the way things are right now in Naija. Also, think about depreciation cost and parts in case of an eventuality. N: B---- Stop getting worked up about prestige or whatever. What you should be worried about is maintaining what you are going to have and what is yours. No one will help you fix your car when it brakes down, everyone will find a different route when things go south on your car. |
Programming › Re: Why You Hardly See Nigerians Teaching About Coding On Social Media. by freenature: 4:04pm On Dec 16, 2022 |
Devdevdev: You hardly see Nigerians teaching coding or talking about programming related stuff on on social media, especially on Youtube. This is because this is actually a legit way to be a successful person and it involves a lot of hard work, determination and consistence.
Nigerians only like to propagate get rich schemes and fraudulent stuff like plagiarizing books to post on Amazon or some rubbish Ponzi scheme. The common thread that links all these is that they don't involve much work and all you have to do is just do the little, then sit and wait for money to start pouring into your account. I admit there are a tiny minority of people who make money from these, but it's usually for a short period of time until it crashes or they get banned from Amazon, or get arrested, but the majority of people don't get shit, rather they jump from one get rich scheme to the other until they realize they've wasted their time.
Programming will never be saturated with competent programmers especially in this country because majority of people don't have the discipline and delligence to actually become competent programmers.
For the past month I've not been on social media. I deleted my Twitter, Facebook Tiktok, Instagram and vowed to never check status on WhatsApp because that's a very huge distraction. I only use Nairaland and Reddit, particularly for programming related information. I deleted every movie from my laptop and haven't watched TV for weeks.
How many people can do this? How many people can sit at a desk staring at a computer screen for 12+ hours everyday?
Nigerians are very lazy and are addicted to quick gratification and this works in the favor of programmers who are serious, because it reduces the competitiveness of the job market. I actually own a blog on programming and I few months ago had to delete TikTok off my phone, hardly have time for WhatsAPp and most Social apps. What's next is to just get Instagram off my phone. |

Baba don try for folks at home from friends to family to classmates, and you hear about it everywhere. New set of gated estates just sprang up in his hometown. Not one person mentioned this to him and most them bought lands there. They are quick to run to him with calls for help because he is in America but not one person ever share any news about opportunities to the good man hustling abroad and depriving his own children the quality life at per with their friends out there just to help his beloved people in Nigeria. Even the one time his name appeared for political appointment, his close friend betrayed him and got his name removed. We no try at all. This is exactly what I am saying. This is just an example, there are many other terrible ones. |

Shikena: Instead of bugging them with request for money to address your own issues, how about helping them solve a problem and then create a strategy that grows both parties?
Get off your lazy ass, find a good business or unencumbered property that your friend/family working abroad can invest in. Do all the ground work since you know the terrain better. Stake your integrity on it and get the person to invest, state your fees also and make it very reasonable, most definitely won't mind as that is standard where they live. If it works with your integrity intact, you are on to something and the diaspora love to spread words about what works well at home (most of you simply have no idea how huge you can become simply based on your integrity alone).
What I have just described is how many Nigerians have become millionaires (not overnight) by leveraging their network, integrity and diligence. It takes time but it works. It is not motivational talk, it is reality and there are several examples of such success stories around that you don't even know. I will still let you know that many of these folks don't want to grow and be by themselves when you are even trying to make them level up. I will look as if you are trying to rule their life while others squander the funds for self gratification and non grande things. |
