Dear OP, there's a saying that goes thus; "Too much familiarity breeds contempt".

Always know ur boundary in other to avoid insults. Since u said u still want to maintain that good rapport with her husband I'll advice u cut off gradually not immediately, come up with excuses why u can no longer go with her to work, or better still arrive at work earlier than her.
