They should start sensoring Yoruba movies , the ritual activities in their movies makes those at home think that it's a way of life

U can't watch a yoruba movie without a ritual line
You are correct bro, but me i am of the feeling that this rituals don dey part of them even before yoruba nollywood, they are acting what they have seen for real, I have leaved with them since I was a child.

They so much believe in it...

Every steps they take, they must consult one herbalist or woli... Fetishism is common to all tribes but yoruba and expecially that part of ogun state own too much.

Car TalkRe: 7 Features To Look Out For When Buying A Car by friday2011(m): 9:11am On Apr 26, 2020
TheGiftedOne:
OP has described what features to look out for in an ideal economic situation.
Now in a real economic situation like many of us have found ourselves, the real features to look out for are:

1. The suspension system of the car

2. Four plugs engine

3. Fuel economy

4. Second hand value

5. Mileage

6. Duggedness on our Nigerian roads.

Anything else comes secondary. In fact I still prefer manual cars because it gves me that feeling of being actively engaged and not the idle state an automatic puts you in.
Guy, guy, guy...

How many times did i call you?

Stop stressing yourself...save the money for pain reliever.

Tear and wear is not a condition in machineries only, humans too experience it.

Automatic cars are not expensive.

May we not look older than our age.

HealthRe: Sanwo-Olu Says Lagos Mortuaries Are Full Due To Lockdown, Need Decongestion by friday2011(m): 7:40am On Apr 26, 2020
Vision2045:
I am tired of the lockdown as well but I don't think it's time for the lockdown to be called off...

To those saying the lockdown didn't work.....I hope you are right...but I am sure it worked as it showed us an indication of what is ahead....Those people tested so far are those with traveling history and those that came in contact with them...

Can we be rest assured that all those that came in contact has been fully located and tested (definitely No, My neighbor is one of the medical personnel at the isolation centre in onikan..she said Lagos is really under testing...and I ask why she said the test kit are so limited in supply and that ventilators are as well limited).

If the lockdown is called off or relaxed, we all Sabi as Lagos dey....our bus na hustle..bus stop na hustle...market na hustle..church na crowd..mosque crowd..felashrine crowd...qulox crowd....malls crowd....

If people still disobey the lockdown when it was so called in full flight...do u think when it's relaxed or totally called off people will not just go straight to normalcy.

Can any state in Nigeria handle a surge if things go south ( which I pray it doesn't)

Have u watched the channels TV interview with the deputy coordinator for the covid 19 in their state...he said a reported 640 death in one week..though natural death join but we all know something is wrong...that's because their governor is not proactive enough...

What do I suggest.

- This coming week government should make effort to create local response team in all local government and train personnel to Man those centres...every local government has office already ..that can be achieved in a week...they will deploy trained personnel from the isolation centres and general hospital with adequate PPEs

- Full sensitisation at local level...A team of people go into street with their mega phone...and share safety tips and proper explanation and maybe a small pamphlet with pictures.

- Those centres at local level will be there to test and absorb if any case arise and might be transferred to a mother centre (Onikan, IDH and any other created ) in case of severe issues.

- Government should as well invest in Test kit and ventilators atleast divert some more money to the health sector...

All this is attainable in two weeks....Then the government can relax the lockdown ...But forget it relaxing the lockdown is like suspending it...We all know our kind of mentality in Nigeria here...

My humble Opinion
Make we hear word jare...

A government that couldn't provide adequate testing kits for a whole 1 month will be able to provide adequately for 2 weeks at the local government levels with enough PPE and ventilators?

Probably you are joking.

But as it stands, would gladly go for the guy in Aso rock than that rambling buffoon at the Whitehouse.

Despite heading a spectacularly inept response to virus, openly supporting the use of unverified remedies, urging people to disobey s/distancing rules, all of which have led to likely avoidable deaths and illness.

Take a look at the charade of his press briefing. While other leaders use it draw people together by providing facts and all, Trump has turned it a campeign rally, and platform for his usual lies.

Nonsense
It is obvious you hate this man called trump for no just cause.

Your claim of him (trump) advising pple to use unverified remedies to treat covid19 is baseless...

The old man clearly said "there is no known vaccine for the virus yet, and from what he has also heard, "chloroquine" or so is not verified and if any medical expert advised or prescribed it for use and you are ok with it, why not...

Please what is wrong with that statement?

And maybe you dont know, a lot of immigrants from Africa and other parts of the world who have died mostly are non health insurance holders in America who dont have valid documents to stay and most of them die in there homes.

Anyway, America/Trump and iran is not my headache, they are sovereign and I dont have any right to question how they run there affairs, more over they are far far ahead of us in every steps, my own headache right now is how this country nigeria can get better not blindly criticizing other countries while mine is 1 step forward and 10 steps backward. Lets channel our criticism skills to our various state government and the central government.

We should even start by looking up to Ghana.

We will get there if we put aside religion/ethnicity, because that is our major problem in Nigeria.

Nigerian youths should start focusing there energy on things that will change there lives and society positively not fighting online on people who dont even know that you exist.

Our headache now in Nigeria should be how to make our system work too by coming together regardless of ethnicity and religion but I doubt if it will ever happen.
