Businext: it's obvious that there is great bias in Nigeria between regions There is no federal character or balance.
Remember EDUCATION LESS ADVANTAGED, remember having 246 in UTME and not getting Pharmacy in Ekiti but your mate in Yobe with 198 got in for pharmacy in BUK?
Remember you've been applying to be on the bench with your sterling qualifications but they said no vacancy yet someone who's your far junior who sat thrice for the bar finals with no experience or further reading is now on the bench warming up for CA and SC?
Remember you have been loitering the federal civil service looking for work but all you hear there is Hausa and Yoruba and small Igbo, Igalla, and Efik and them telling you an Etsako, Isoko or Jukun man that there is no space?
But it also shows that when people are not spoon fed they become great thinkers, more industrious, more critical thinkers and general hustlers (but sadly it also increases crime).
Those who are given 2 packets of indomie, or one cup of rice, or 2 cups of white beans with no money or nothing at all how do you expect them to function equally with another region who is being given 40k per household, father and mother, with bag of rice, millet and other things?
These same people give birth without control or planning and end up pushing their responsibilities to government (I must confess this also happens in one particular state in the south). But this is the order of the day in Kano, Katsina, Kaduna the kkk states and Jigawa, Borno, Sokoto, Zamfara and even Bauchi. If the minister goes to her region and sees a man with 4 wives and 26 children, she will be moved to give them more like what has happened in Katsina.
But if she goes to Lagos, or Enugu or Ondo and sees a hardworking self employed man and his one wife with phd who is managing job in a private owned college of education way below her capacity, with just 2 brilliant children they are managing to give the best in health, education and all who are wandering the streets or forcefully UNcleaning windscreens in traffic, the minister will pass them by that they don't need because they are just 4 humans and one even has salaried work even where the private owned salary work has told them no pay this period as there is no work!

HarunaWest: We are talking about Covid19 right now and all some people are bothered about is religion. Isn't it only a living person that prays. Nigeria has a fundamental problem and we the youths keep fuelling it.
I dont expect the opposite from you...
You will never see anything wrong in what Gandola has done but quick to remind us of covid19 pandemic.
The results are everywhere in the north...
But one thing is certain... By the time the north is done with self destruction all in the name of religious bigotry and love for power, una eye go clear.
iwaeda: Covid19 FG Lockdown; See 3rd Mainland Bridge Today!

DonMustafa: How about someone like Akinwumi Adesina? Must nepotism be number 1 in Nigeria?
Dr Akinwumi Adesina is a proven administrator. He would do better than all those people listed up there
Since we are listing profiles here, let me drop the profile of Akinwumi Adesina for those who do not know
* Akinwumi Adesina is the President of the African Development Bank
* He was Vice President of Policy and Partnerships for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA)
* He attended a village school in Oyo and went ahead to graduate with a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics with First Class Honors from the University of Ife, Nigeria (1981) (Note: A first class from OAU is no joke)
* He was the first student to be awarded this a first class in that department in OAU
* He has his masters from Purdue University in Indiana
* He has a PhD (Agricultural Economics) in 1988 from Purdue where he won the Outstanding PhD Thesis for his research work.
* He worked at the Rockefeller Foundation since winning a fellowship from the Foundation as a senior scientist
* His short time as Minister of Agriculture in Nigeria created the agricultural revolution we are enjoying today.
* He is the current President of the African Development Bank
I am tired of typing.
Only an e-diot will not know this, but unfortunately that position is the birthright of a northerner as long as buhari remain in power.
Imagine, but you can flog those that came out to get something to eat? Those that came to the funeral uninvited should be arrested and punished then...
I am not a fan of confusion but I think Nigerians deserve an apology for this. This same government have been ruthless with the stay at-home stuff, shutting down every stuff across their path that may lead to convergence of individual, some were lucky to be taken to court, why the unlucky ones were shot dead by men on uniform. Nobody should be immune or above the law, Social distancing should be for all.
God bless Nigeria.
Abi won ti apologies ni... Them no dey reason ur side at all... In saner climes, Funke Akindele should be suing Lagos State Government and d nigerian police by now with reference to this.
Nemere2020: The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi confirmed this via his Twitter handle.
#COVID19Lagos Update
*️⃣32 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 17, 2020. *️⃣Total number of confirmed cases in Lagos now stands at 286. *️⃣Sadly, Lagos has recorded 3 more deaths bringing total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 13. https://twitter.com/ProfAkinAbayomi/status/1251467413788516353?s=19
*️⃣The deceased are 2 males and 1 female aged 52, 63 and 67. Two of the dead had underlying health issues.
ebabs: A moral lesson to learn after an anti-buhari called to condoled him of the loss of chief of staff. This was announced by Femi Adesina on Twitter.
Game don change nanana, see dis femi adeshina guy don begin use "chief" for in twittet war opponent. Na waooo
Saifulah: This is for those claiming he had died before yesterday. It is forbidden in Islam to keep the dead unburried.
In the state house statement, it said funeral arrangements will be announced. That will definitely be today but most likely low key burial.
If he dies, are we then immortal? hope for a good ending yourself rather than musing on that of others.
Imagine talk, shebi na d day dem disclose to you na im you go take... Abi you dey stay with d guy for hospital? ... Make we hear word jare, when it comes to death, Islamic laws na for the poor,
iCauseTrouble: The only thing I have enjoyed from the government during this lockdown is steady power supply. The epileptic power supply in my area suddenly became stable. Now we have light 24 hours a day. This has made me believe that power problem is not actually a problem in Nigeria just that the government doesn't want to work.
Abeg which area be that? My own area for ikorodu, Lagos (Eruwen to be precise) Since the covid19 wahala start, na "night plan flash 5" we dey... They bring it by 12 midnight and take it by 12.05 (5minutes)
Mistaicey2288: SMH! Useless administration. So na to dey randomly hand-pick those who will benefit from the nonsense 2 months power supply too same way they do with the audio 20k they're sharing around following useless registers... What happened to equal rights for citizens? Are the comfortable people not also affected by the ongoing lockdown? Are they not facing financial crisis too presently?
Even the 2 months electricity, once they begin the implementation, watch how epileptic the power supply will get... I bet it will be really worse that even the beneficiaries will get very little to use during the 2 months. Nothing is free in Naija under this useless administration.. The earlier everyone realizes that, the better for them.
All this una complain seff, see make all nigerians fight for prepaid meters, thats the way out of this continuous day light robbery by disco.

CoronaVirusPro: The moment Chelsea FC signed this guy, I knew he had nothing to offer. A player that could not score a single goal throughout the season when he was in Miami Heats. They could have just Tiger Woods or Bill Gates in worst case scenario as they are more agile and multipurpose swimmers in the flanks.
It's all good, the did has been done. The World Health Organisation should order the commencement of the English Premier League and save us from this boredom.
Hmnn, nigerian police. I no trust them, I hope innocent people are not here, and if at the end they discover any of them are innocent, the person people will still have to curve out nothing less than 100k to release them, if not they are on there own.
