Google Introduces New Feature To Delete Last 15 Minutes Of Search History.

Search engine giant, Google has introduced a new feature that enables users on its Android app to delete the last 15 minutes of search history.

Google spokesperson Ned Adriance in a statement said that the new features are expected to be available to all users in the next few weeks.

“We’re currently rolling this feature out on the Google app for Android and expect it to be available to everyone using the app in the next few weeks.

“We’re continuing to explore ways to bring this helpful feature to other surfaces.”

The feature was first spotted by former XDA Developers editor-in-chief Mishaal Rahman, who said he was tipped about the feature seemingly rolling out.

To check and see if you have it, open Google’s Android app, tap your profile picture and look for the “Delete last 15 min” option.

Google also offers a tool to automatically delete things in your search history that are three, 18, or 36 months old.

Google first announced the feature at Google I/O in May, and it came to Google’s iOS app in July.

At that time, Google said it would arrive on the Android version of the app later in 2021, but for some reason, the company missed that deadline.

It’s unclear if Google plans to bring the feature to desktop — in its May announcement post, the company didn’t specify which platforms it would be available on, and in July, Google only said that the feature was coming to the iOS and Android apps.

Court Dismisses Terrorism, Treasonable Felony Charges Against Nigerian Journalist, Agba Jalingo

A Federal High Court sitting in Calabar has discharged Nigerian journalist and activist, Agba Jalingo in a criminal suit that alleged he committed acts of terrorism, treasonable felony and cybercrimes.

This followed the decision of the Cross River State Government to withdraw the charges it filed against him.


The state had taken over the prosecution from the Nigerian government in February 2020 when he was admitted to bail after spending 179 days in incarceration.

The Director of Public Prosecutions in the state, John Ogban, told the court at the resumed hearing that he received the directives of the Attorney General, Tanko Ashang to discontinue the case.

Ogban, who was slammed by the presiding judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu on Monday, at the last adjourned date, said they had filed a further amended charge before now, but made a verbal application for the withdrawal of the case.

When asked if he was withdrawing totally and would no longer prosecute the charge, Ogban answered in the affirmative.

The defence team, led by Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria did not object to the verbal application and commended the directive.

“We commend the Honorable Attorney General of the State for taking this decision. We are happy that our harassment has ended,” Olumide-Fusika, who was accompanied by F. Baba Isa and Kehole Enya, said.

He further prayed the court to release the sum paid as the bail bond into an interest yielding account of the defendant.

The matter was then stood down for the court to verify the payment date among other items.

And, upon resumption, Justice Ojukwu while relying on the provisions of section 355 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, acquitted the Jalingo, “on all four charges. Therefore, the charge is hereby dismissed.”

On the application for the refund, the court held that the sum and the interest should be paid to him.

This closes the case so far with the Nigerian and state governments failing to provide a single witness in the 30 months the trial lasted, despite an initial order to cover the faces of witnesses.

Jalingo was arrested on August 22, 2019, over an article published in July of that year wherein he demanded the whereabouts of the N500 million approved and released for the floating of the Cross River State Microfinance Bank by the state government.

After 34 days in police custody, he was arraigned for alleged acts of terrorism, cultism, treasonable felony and attempts to overthrow the state government. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded at the Afokang prisons.

Denied bail twice by Justice Simon Amobeda who was presiding over Court 2 of the division, he was eventually admitted to bail by Justice Sule Shuaibu who presided over Court 1 after Justice Amobeda recused himself following the leak of an audiotape which suggested he had compromised.

The charges preferred against him were amended several times during the trial and he took four pleas within the duration of the trial twice under Justice Amobeda, once under Justice Shuiabu and once under Justice Ojukwu.

The case has received widespread criticism with Amnesty International declaring Jalingo alongside SaharaReporters founder, Sowore and Olawale Bakare as prisoners of conscience while the #OneFreePress coalition named him among the 10 most urgent cases of threats to press freedom in the world in 2019.

The ECOWAS Court awarded N30 million against the Nigerian government for the inhuman treatment meted on him by the police earlier this year.

Some of the strangest examples include a bed shaped like a giant pair of feet and a room decorated with a series of very creepy china dolls.

Hair-raising! In fact, one bizarre bedroom in the US was covered in white curtains, fluffy rug and matching bed trimming.

Among the photos, a bed, located in Johannesburg, was made entirely of marble tiles!

No frills! A particular bed was decorated with an extremely elaborate pink silk bed spreda with matching pillow cases.

“Woo that guy you like” – Lady advises as she ends up marrying her ex who was in a relationship.

A young lady simply known as Naomi, has advised women not to be scared of wooing the man that could be the love of their life.

She gave the advise while narrating the story of how she was the one that reached out to her current husband who was her ex-boyfriend at the time.

According to her, they both dated for a month, but he left her for someone else because she didn’t want anything serious then.

Four months down the line, she started missing him, so she contacted her ex and opened up about her feeling, interestingly he felt the same way. That was how they got back together and eventually tied the knot.

Taking to Twitter, Naomi wrote; ”I casually dated this guy for literally no more than a month or two before he found someone who wanted to be more serious with him.

I didn’t want anything serious so I wasn’t upset or anything. We parted ways amicably.

However, the very next day I could barely keep myself together. I don’t know what happened but I felt like my entire world was crashing down.

Two suspected ritualists caught trying to take woman’s urine after she peed on the road in Benin.

Video footage captures the moment two young men suspected to be ritualists were caught trying to take a woman’s urine in Benin.

According to the report, this happened around Evbotubu Bustop, Benin City, Edo State. The men rushed to take the waste product after the woman answered the call of nature on the road, however, they ran out of luck as they got caught by some youths.

One of the men who was being interrogated tried to justify his actions by saying anyone could pack any person’s urine and he gathered it with the intention of disposing it; a statement of defence that seemed quite illogical.


The second guy was the one who opened up as he tried to exonerate himself from the evil deeds of his partner by saying he told him he never wanted to partake in money ritual.

"He is innocent. He did not kidnap my baby" Mother exonerates dispatch rider of any wrongdoing following claims he was caught with a baby in his delivery box.

The dispatch rider who was publicly humiliated and accused of kidnapping and hiding a baby in his courier box (read here ) is innocent, the child's mother has said.

In a video recorded by the owner of the logistics business to clear her company's name, the child's mother spoke up revealing no one stole her child.

The mother insisted the dispatch rider seen with her child is her child's uncle and she was the one who gave him the child.

She said he is not a kidnapper as was claimed in a video shared by locals who saw him with the child and assumed the worst.

"I'm the one that gave him the baby by myself because I trust him. He is the baby's uncle," the child's mother said.

Former Ukrainian soccer star Anatoliy Tymoshchuk is banned for life for failing to take a stand against Russia.

Ukraine record holder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has been banned from football in his country for refusing to condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and failing to resign from his position as assistant coach of the Russian club Zenit Saint-Petersburg.

Former captain of the Ukraine national football team, Tymoshchuk, 42, has been banned for life in Ukraine, the national football federation announced on Friday.

Tymoshchuk will have his license removed and his name erased from the Ukrainian football honors list.

The Ukrainian football federation added that it would ask the government of Ukraine to withdraw the awards received during his career which saw the midfielder, 144 times international between 2000 and 2016, play at Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayern of Munich and at the Zenith Saint-Petersburg, where he has been on the staff since 2017.

A Nigerian lady identified as Gwaza Victoria, has revealed the dramatic encounter that ensued between her younger brother and mother at home.

Woman with full beard admits dating can be hard as people use her as a 'fetish'.

Harnaam Kaur started growing hair around her throat when she was aged 11 after puberty hit. She has embraced a full beard since sixth form, but admits it can be tough on her dating life

A woman who has sported a full beard since she was in sixth form has admitted that dating can be hard.

Harnaam Kaur, 31, started growing hair around her throat when she was aged 11 after puberty hit.

Her mum took me to the doctor for tests and at 12, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a condition that affects women’s hormone levels.

Symptoms include irregular periods, growing facial hair and difficulty getting pregnant.

After finding out about her condition, Harnaam's mum took her to a salon to get her face waxed.

However, as well as constant pain, Harnaam said that instead of being bullied over her facial hair, she was now targeted for having it removed.

The waxing also meant the hair was growing back thicker and darker, so Harnaam made the decision to ditch the waxes and let the hair grow.

Talking about this to The Mirror , she said: "I was going through all of this pain – because my skin was so soft and sensitive, particularly at that age – and trying so hard to conform, but all for nothing.

"The hair was also growing back thicker and darker after every wax. So one day, shortly after my GCSEs, I made a decision.

"It took a lot of strength but I thought, 'I can either keep trying to fit in or I can be me.'"

Harnaam said she spent the whole of the six-week summer holiday from six form 'preparing herself' and then returned with a full beard after the break.

Things were tougher than she imagined though, as she added: "Nothing could have prepared me for the hell that awaited me.

"Things got massively worse and I began to self-harm.

"I was taunted continuously and suffered awful dreams about being brutally attacked by my school bullies."

Harnaam has since struggled with work and her love life.

She said: "At 21, I got engaged. I’d never even met him but someone from the local Sikh temple arranged for me to meet a man in India.

Because I really wanted a relationship, and at that time wanted to have children young, I went for it. That might sound mad to some people but in our culture it’s not unusual.

"The day I met him it was very formal and nine days later we were engaged. He didn’t comment on my facial hair but suddenly there were all these cans and can’ts.

"I wasn’t allowed to wear make-up or have tattoos and piercings. Then, he told me if he found out I wasn’t a virgin, he would never touch me.

"I broke up with him two months before we were supposed to get married and I’ve never looked back."

Talking about her love life now, Harnaam says she's "casually dating".

She said: "I’m pansexual, which means “hearts not parts” – it doesn’t matter what your sexuality is or what your gender is, I love you for who you are.

"But I need someone open-minded who wants to stick around and I’m having trouble finding that.

"I actually had my palm read the other day and the lady told me I’m not going to meet the love of my life in the UK, because a lot of people are still really narrow-minded here. So perhaps they’re abroad!"

She admits some people use her as a "fetish" though.

"Some people treat me like a fantasy or a fetish, like they want to “try” me," she said.

"They’ve got kinks that they want to delve into and that’s all I am to them. It can be difficult navigating who’s genuinely interested in me."

Despite the challenges, Harnaam says she doesn't regret letting her beard grow.

"Looking back, despite everything, choosing not to wax my beard is probably one of the greatest decisions I’ve made, because I’m no longer hiding my true self," she concluded.

The clock was wrong or my eye was paining me, morning mass spirit wey just enter me still strong, I woke up at maybe 3 , and thought I’m late already I hurriedly prepared , (ingnored my mum who woke up later when I’m rounding up) and vanished to church.

After the fall of the USSR in 1991, Ukraine held about a third of the Soviet nuclear arsenal, but it gave the weapons up in 1994 in exchange for security guarantees from Russia, Britain and the US.

It comes as satellite images showed new activity at North Korea’s Punggye-ri nuclear testing site, which was last used for a detonation in 2017 before it was officially shuttered in 2018.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also reported on Monday that there was building work at the Yongbyon nuclear power plant, which produces material for nuclear weapons.

Speaking to NK News, a specialist publication focusing on the secretive state, he said: 'North Korea already did not have much willingness to denuclearise.

'But looking at the graphic scenes coming out of Ukraine, Pyongyang will further solidify their internal and external justification for possessing nuclear weapons.

'Now, after this crisis, it will be difficult for any country to make a denuclearisation pitch to North Korea.

'North Koreans think that nuclear weapons are the absolute saviour of the country.'

The signs of unease among the North Korean elite appear at odds with the country’s official position on the conflict in Ukraine – which is that the US is to blame.

In a UN vote on March 2, North Korea was one of only four countries to vote against a resolution condemning the invasion.

Chris Ogden, a senior lecturer in the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews, said Pyongyang’s position was more about mollifying Russia than condemning Ukraine.

'I am not sure if Pyongyang has any reason to openly scorn Ukraine,' he said.

'I think that these statements are more about maintaining some linkages with Moscow and doing its best to maintain these relations.

'In this sense, Ukraine could be any other country in the region.

'What matters more to North Korea is to support Russia and to couch this support in terms of ongoing western imperialism as a threat to Russia's national sovereignty – which Pyongyang also fears.'

The example of Ukraine is not the only reason North Korea fears giving up its nukes.

Pyongyang already viewed the denuclearisation of Libya in 2003 as a cautionary tale, noting how NATO later intervened there in 2011, leading to the death of its leader, Muammar Gaddafi.
